Teachers’Perception for Evaluation of the Primary School Students With Final Grade

The most difficult and delicate part of the learning process is assessment.Assessment is difficult because during his/her accomplishment the teacher has to consider not only the acquisition of knowledge from students,but also the overall degree of development of their competencies.It is delicate,because through assessment we can influence the emotional side of students and their“willingness”to learn.Despite these facts,teachers need to evaluate students during the learning process.The purpose of the research is to find out what is the perception of teachers about the level of evaluation of students with final grade.The overall results showed that 89%of teachers agree,9%of them have a neutral attitude,and 2%do not agree that the evaluation of students with a final grade is done taking into account many aspects and using many methods,the overall average of the results,M=4.36.Based on the empirical results,it was found that teachers who have completed assessment training have a more positive approach to student assessment,as the average score is higher than teachers who have not completed assessment training.From the qualitative results it was understood that the Teachers did not encounter any difficulties during the assessment of the students.

Reading Loss in Arabic Language During COVID-19 in the UAE and Proposed Solutions:The Perspectives of Primary-Grade Arabic Language Teachers

The COVID-19 pandemic caused significant disruptions in the field of education worldwide,including in the United Arab Emirates.Teachers and students had to adapt to remote learning and virtual classrooms,leading to various challenges in maintaining educational standards.The sudden transition to remote teaching could have a negative impact on students’reading abilities,especially in the Arabic language.To gain insight into the unique challenges encountered by Arabic language teachers in the UAE,a survey was conducted to explore their assessment of teaching quality,student-teacher interaction,and learning outcomes amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.The results of the survey revealed a significant decline of student reading abilities and identified several major issues in online Arabic language teaching.These issues included limited interaction between students and teachers,challenges in monitoring students’class participation and performance,and challenges in effectively assessing students’reading skills.The results also demonstrated some other challenges faced by Arabic language teachers,including a lack of preparedness,a lack of subscription to relevant platforms,and a lack of resources for online learning.Several solutions to these challenges are proposed,including reevaluating the balance between depth and breadth in the curriculum,integrating language skills into the curriculum more effectively,providing more comprehensive teacher professional development,implementing student grouping strategies,utilizing retired and expert teachers in specific content areas,allocating time for interventions,and improving support from both teachers and parents to ensure the quality of online learning.

The Research on Influencing Factors and Countermeasures of Teacher Career Development in Private Undergraduate Institutions

Based on the Theory of Reasoned Action,this paper explores the influencing factors and countermeasures of teacher career development in private undergraduate institutions through questionnaire surveys.The study finds that teachers generally experience heavy workloads and time pressures,but most believe that the academic atmosphere and research activities at the school have a positive impact on their career development.The evaluation mechanisms and promotion channels are considered fair and effective,but there is still room for improvement.Teachers hold a positive attitude towards career development opportunities and promotion channels,but they perceive limited development space and promotion opportunities.Teachers’personal comprehensive qualities and abilities,as well as the development opportunities and support provided by the school,are considered key factors for career development.Disciplinary professional background,academic accumulation,research capabilities,and teacher collaboration and exchange have significant impacts on career development.Based on the findings,the following strategies are proposed:1)optimizing the work environment and reducing work pressure;2)fostering a positive academic atmosphere;3)improving evaluation mechanisms and promotion channels;4)providing continuous professional training and development support;and 5)strengthening the construction of disciplinary professional background and research capabilities.

Global Competence of Normal Undergraduates

Global competence refers to individual’s attitudes towards other cultures,basic knowledge level about the world,the competence to survive in a culturalcrossing environment and the role of citizens of the world.It has been increasingly significant nowadays,especially for children representing the future.Therefore,the global thinking patterns of perspective teachers who will teach future children should be valued.However,the current situation of normal undergraduates’global competence is worrying.Hence,the global competence of prospective teachers should be enhanced without hesitation.Several ways have been put forward while some disadvantages still exist.

Markov Chain Approach to Projection of Secondary School Enrolment and Projection of Teachers

An enrolment projection model based on the Markov Chain is developed for Apostolic Faith Secondary School, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Six years of data (between 2008/2009-2013/2014 academic sessions) of student enrolment at the school were studied. The study reveals that the enrolments through various grades are not stable and orderly. The model is helpful for the school’s future planning in matters regarding secondary students’ enrolment.

国家级一流本科课程《妇产科学》的建设与教学改革探索

课程是人才培养的核心要素,是教育的微观表现,但解决的是最根本的问题。《妇产科学》是医学生最重要的临床必修课之一,文章在分析《妇产科学》课程内容特点的基础上,依照《教育部关于一流本科课程建设的实施意见》,介绍了新疆医科大学第一临床医学院的妇产科学教学团队在妇产科学国家级一流本科课程建设中的具体改革措施及初步成效,其中包括课程思政建设、课程内容建设、网络平台建设,师资队伍建设,以及教学模式改革、教学方法创新、评价体系探索,体现了课程团队坚持“两性一度”的标准,坚持以学生为中心、以产出为导向、持续改进的理念,以期为相关学科的一流本科课程建设及教育教学改革提供参考。

教育数字化背景下黑龙江民办本科高校教师教学力提升策略

以大数据、互联网、智能识别及5G为代表的数字化技术正在深刻影响着民办本科高等教育的发展方向。新时代的民办本科高校教师不仅需要具备专业的知识技能,而且也需要具备数字化胜任能力,这对黑龙江民办本科高校教师教学力提出了更高的要求。在教育数字化转型背景下,分析黑龙江民办本科高校教师数字素养提升面临的“代际鸿沟”与“知识断层”并存、技术应用浅表化、培训体系不健全、资源“孤岛”与合作“缺位”、激励机制的“隐形缺失”等困境,并在此基础上提出具体的提升策略。

我国本科生全科医学教育教学情况调查研究

背景近年来我国全科医学教育发展迅速,但尚缺乏针对本科生全科医学教育的全面调查。目的了解我国本科生全科医学教学开展现状和发展趋势。方法于2019年12月,向我国开设临床医学专业的高校的教务处发放调查问卷(n=189),问卷内容包括各高校的全科医学教学机构设置、师资及课程设置情况,于2020年6月回收问卷。为比较不同类型院校本科生全科医学教学情况的差异,将高校分为综合院校、单科院校(医学院或药学院)、中医院校、独立办学院校4类进行分析。结果共回收有效问卷175份,应答率为92.6%。2019年,设立本科生全科医学教学机构的高校有150所(85.7%);全国高校共有全科师资3371名,其中59.8%(2016/3371)在附属医院全科医学科工作;142所(81.1%)开设了全科医学选修课或必修课;68所(38.9%)高校开设了全科医学在社区卫生服务中心的毕业实习;22所(12.6%)高校开设了综合医院全科医学科毕业实习。在4类高校中,综合院校和单科院校附属医院设置全科医学科的比例均>90.0%,中医院校的设置比例为70.0%(7/10),独立办学院校的设置比例仅为63.3%(19/30);独立办学院校开设全科医学选修课或必修课的比例为60.0%(18/30),其他3类院校的开设比例均≥80.0%;单科院校开展社区卫生服务中心毕业实习的比例较高(61.2%,30/49),其次为综合院校(36.0%,31/86),独立办学院校和中医院校的开展比例≤20.0%;综合院校和单科院校开展综合医院全科医学科毕业实习的比例>10.0%,独立办学院校的开展比例为6.7%(2/30)。结论近年来我国本科生全科医学教育发展较为迅速,但仍然存在较多问题,如全科医学本科教育开展不普及、发展不均衡,非社区师资缺乏基层实践经历,教学方法和评价方式简单等。今后仍需要进一步提高发展的普及性和均衡性,并加强师资培训,丰富教学方法和评价手段。

特级教师专业核心素养的现状、特点与启示——基于江西省特级教师的调查分析

专业核心素养是衡量特级教师综合素质的重要指标,并对其教育教学质量具有重要影响。通过对江西省218位特级教师的调查发现,特级教师专业核心素养总体处于优秀水平,不同性别、不同年龄、不同教龄、不同学历、任教不同课程与学段,以及是否担任班主任的特级教师在专业核心素养水平上存在差异。特级教师专业核心素养的特点主要体现在:追求平衡发展,专业素养全面;加强品格涵养,提升精神境界;重视文献阅读,知识广博深厚;持续改进教学,教学能力突出;积极投入科研,主动自我反思。特级教师专业核心素养的发展给我们以重要启示:一是内外结合,充分发挥特级教师的示范和引领作用;二是整体强化,全面提升教师的专业核心素养;三是上下联动,为教师的专业发展创设良好的条件。

提高本科生超声影像学带教师资能力的探索

随着超声医学技术的快速发展,超声影像学在本科生的教学工作中凸显重要的地位。本科生成长为一名合格的超声医师不仅需要掌握扎实的专业基础知识,具备高效的临床诊断思维能力,还需要具备科学研究探索能力。因此,越来越多的教学医院高度重视本科生超声影像学带教师资能力的培养。文章总结近些年来重庆医科大学附属第二医院超声科教研室带教师资能力培养的经验,从教师自身、科室及医院层面分析既往本科生超声影像学带教师资能力培养的现状及存在的问题,初步探索解决问题所采取的方案和对策,以期为本科生超声影像学带教师资能力的提高提供参考,从而提高本科生超声影像学教学质量和水平,为临床培养优秀高素质超声医学人才。

我国《急危重症护理学》本科课程设置现状分析

目的分析我国护理本科《急危重症护理学》课程设置现状,为进一步完善课程设置,提高急危重症护理人才培养质量提供参考。方法检索中国知网、万方、维普等数据库中发表于2019年1月31日至2023年12月31日的文献及各校官网,收集各校《急危重症护理学》本科课程设置的相关数据,并进行分析。结果共收集检索到20所本科院校《急危重症护理学》课程资料。《急危重症护理学》课程内容多包含急救护理和危重症护理,总课时15~76学时,平均为(43.80±14.26)学时,其中理论学时均数为(27.70±12.91)学时,实践学时均数为(16.10±10.11)学时;课程目标均涵盖知识、能力及情感目标3大方面,教学方法与教学评价方式多样,人卫社规划教材为使用最普遍的教材,11所院校《急危重症护理学》师资队伍为专职教师和临床教师共同授课,但对授课教师资质缺少明确要求。结论《急危重症护理学》已成为本科护理课程的重要组成部分,但课程内容与学时分配有待于进一步完善,师资队伍的任职资格有待于进一步明确和规范。

江苏应用型本科高校中青年教师数字化教学能力调查研究

应用型本科高校中青年教师的数字化教学能力在数字经济时代已成为影响应用型人才培养质量的关键因素之一。文章调查了江苏省17所应用型本科院校的311名中青年教师的数字化教学能力情况,结果显示,大部分教师已经具备了数字化教学的基本能力,但是数字化教学模式创新和教学研究最为薄弱。本文认为可以采取完善高等教育发展政策,深化数字化教学能力认识;调整高校教师培训内容,强化数字化教学能力提升;搭建数字技术教学环境,推动数字化教学实践;鼓励教学模式改革创新,开展数字化教学研究四个方面的措施,有效提升应用型本科高校中青年教师的数字化教学能力。

旨向“双师”素养的职业本科教育教师队伍建设策略

“双师型”作为职业本科教育教师的身份标志,是教师能力提升、专业发展和队伍建设的核心旨向。职业本科教育教师的“双师”素养具有知识高阶性、技能延展性、教学适应性、服务创新性和跨界协同性等内涵特征。有必要围绕“双师”素养的核心内涵,进一步健全职前培养体系、建立职业准入机制、畅通职后成长路径、完善教师评价制度、加强教师团队建设,从教师发展全过程和师资管理全方位推进职业本科教育教师队伍建设。

“大二低潮”的成因分析及应对之策

“大二低潮”是高等学校普遍存在的现象,如何有效应对“大二低潮”已成为国内外高校广泛关注的问题。基于对河南省高校本科生的调查数据,分析了现阶段“大二低潮”形成的原因:学生缺乏获得感、缺乏明确的学习目标、内生动力不足;学校对大二学生关注度下降、考核重结果轻过程、课程授课形式单一、师生缺乏有效沟通。结合成因,提出建立本科导师制、提高“两性一度”、强化过程性评价、加强师生互动、强化学风建设等应对方案。

以评价改革提升高校学风建设

学生上课不抬头、不做笔记、抢后排等是我国部分大学课堂的现实情况。为了治理这些问题,一些大学开展了加强学风建设活动,提出检查不带教材、不做笔记、不提问题、不坐前排的“四不”现象,检查到课率、抬头率以及前排学生入座率的“三率”等要求,这些措施都只是对学风进行的表面治理。要让大学生投入课堂学习,必须以问题为导向,破解影响人才培养质量的学校办学定位问题、教师考核问题以及学生评价问题。

专业认证为本科学前教育专业课程改革提供了新的思路和契机。基于专业认证视角,以“幼儿园课程”为例,发现当前本科学前教育专业教师教育课程存在目标泛化、内容滞后、教学模式固化及评价未能体现师范性和实践性等问题。为此,应从专业认证的理念和标准出发,以能力产出为目标驱动,构建理论与实践相结合的模块化内容体系,确立“以学生为中心”的教学模式,凸显师范性、实践性的评价理念,促进本科学前教育专业教师教育课程高质量发展。

职业院校“双师型”教师队伍建设与探索——以电梯工程技术专业为例

加强职业院校“双师型”教师队伍建设是推动职业教育高质量发展的重要举措,也为我国经济产业转型升级提供技术人才支撑。针对“双师型”教师队伍建设中出现的培训体系有待优化、认定标准有待明确、激励机制有待完善等一系列问题,提出了通过深化校企合作,制定科学严谨的“双师型”教师资质认定标准,规划“双师型”教师实践能力提升的培养方式,打通“引进来、走出去”的“双师型”师资建设路径,并不断完善“双师型”教师保障激励机制,在实践中解决“双师型”队伍建设的问题。
