By means of special processing technologies such as AVO and waveform inversion, the authors, for the first time, directly used the BSR to outline the distribution tendency of thickness of gas hydrate stability zone in the Trough and thought that the largest stability zone thickness was in the south and the smallest in the north. Then through calculation the authors got the thickness of hydrate stability zone and resource of the hydrate. This would be useful to the future hydrate exploration and resource evaluation in the Okinawa Trough.展开更多

Based on neurophysiological researches high repetition of practice is required to induce neuropla...Recovery from stroke needs different time and speed in every case depending on the brain capacity of neural plasticity. Based on neurophysiological researches high repetition of practice is required to induce neuroplastic changes and functional recovery of motor deficits. However, data from earlier studies shows that stroke patients generally perform a very limited number of movement repetitions in traditional therapy sessions. Virtual Reality therapy was found to be beneficial in improving trunk, hand, upper and lower extremity functions. However, reviews found no definitive conclusions regarding balance. The present study focuses on evaluating the efficacy of Nintendo WiiTM on balance and gait functions of stroke patients. Twenty one hemiparetic stroke patients were randomly assigned to either control or therapy groups. Effectiveness was evaluated by Fugl-Meyer balance subtest, Functional Ambulation Categories (FAC), Romberg (R), sharpened Romberg (SR), one-legged stance (OLS), six-meter walking test (6MWT) and timed up and go test (TUG). The analysis revealed a significant effect of training with Nintendo Wii M for FAC z = 0.0267, FMBS z = 0.0046, OLST2 z = 0.0068 and OLS1 z = 0.0067 (affected side). The control group demonstrated improvement in R (z = 0.0474) and SR (z = 0.0411). In both groups improvement was detected in functional mobility and 6MWT (control group z = 0.0069, Wii groupz = 0.0123). No significant differences were found between groups. Findings of the current study support that balance treatment with Nintendo WiiTM is similarly effective method to improve static balance and functional mobility when compared with conventional therapy.展开更多

A novel hybrid robust three-axis attitude control approach, namely HRTAC, is considered along with the well-known developments in the area of space systems, since there is a consensus among the related experts that th...A novel hybrid robust three-axis attitude control approach, namely HRTAC, is considered along with the well-known developments in the area of space systems, since there is a consensus among the related experts that the new insights may be taken into account as decision points to outperform the available materials. It is to note that the traditional control approaches may generally be upgraded, as long as a number of modifications are made with respect to state-of-the-art, in order to propose high-precision outcomes. Regarding the investigated issues, the robust sliding mode finite-time control approach is first designed to handle three-axis angular rates in the inner control loop, which consists of the pulse width pulse frequency modulations in line with the control allocation scheme and the system dynamics. The main subject to employ these modulations that is realizing in association with the control allocation scheme is to be able to handle a class of overactuated systems, in particular. The proportional derivative based linear quadratic regulator approach is then designed to handle three-axis rotational angles in the outer control loop, which consists of the system kinematics that is correspondingly concentrated to deal with the quaternion based model. The utilization of the linear and its nonlinear terms, simultaneously, are taken into real consideration as the research motivation, while the performance results are of the significance as the improved version in comparison with the recent investigated outcomes. Subsequently, there is a stability analysis to verify and guarantee the closed loop system performance in coping with the whole of nominal referenced commands. At the end, the effectiveness of the approach considered here is highlighted in line with a number of potential recent benchmarks.展开更多

The transient radiation of the antenna above the lossy ground is computed using the Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method The determining factors of the field waveform are explored and analysed on the basis of the physical evolution process of the transient radiation. The typical waveform of the electric field and the field distribution characteristics, both of which are important for HEMP simulator design and the effect tests, are presented. The study indicates that the simulation should be analysed from the perspective of both environment building and simulator applications.展开更多

At the usual condition of reservoirs, carbon dioxide is a kind of supercritical fluid with high condensability, high viscosity and high density. Secondly, this article studies the laws of formation and development of mixing zone by numerical simulation and analyses the impact on mixing zone brought by different injection modes and rational ratios of cushion gas in reservoirs. It is proposed that the appropriate injection ratio of cushion gas is 20%-30%. Using carbon dioxide as cushion gas in gas reservoirs is able to make the running of natural gas reservoirs economical and efficient.展开更多

The total density, basal area of trees in the Buffer a...The structural diversity of different tree-crop associations were studied at Gachabari Sal forest area of Madhupur Garh on Buffer and Peripheral Zone during 2006. The total density, basal area of trees in the Buffer and Peripheral Zone were 155.5 trees·hm^(-2), 795.4 trees·hm^(-2) and 3.9 m2·hm-2, 5.8 m^2·hm^(-2), respectively. No regeneration and natural trees were found in Peripheral Zone and the Zone is totally occupied by exotic species where the Buffer Zone comprised of both natural and exotic trees. The Peripheral Zone belonged to younger and smaller trees whereas the Buffer Zone belonged to mixture of smaller, taller, younger and mature trees simultaneously. For the practicing of different agroforestry systems both Zones have lost their original characters of Sal forest.展开更多

The plasma was generated with a 5-turn loop inductive antenna driven by an H-bridge type RF generator. The azimuthal B-field in the channel of 0.5-1.5 kG was formed by a pulsed current from external capacitor bank. Control of the hydrogen gas pressure was provided by an electromagnetic puffvalve. The paper describes experimental devices and results on the generated plasma parameters as function of RF frequency, antenna voltage, pulse duration and puffgas pressure. When operating at-1 kG B-field, ambient gas pressure in the range of few -10 mTorr, and 5 kV antenna voltage at resonant frequency of 150 kHz, the plasma density range was (3-7)×10^12 cm3 with a temperature of a few eV.展开更多

Methods: A total of 50 patients with constipation due to intestinal qi sta...Objective: To compare the different therapeutic effects of acupuncture and Phenolphthalein for constipation due to intestinal qi stagnation. Methods: A total of 50 patients with constipation due to intestinal qi stagnation were randomly divided into an acupuncture group and a medication group by the random digital table, 25 cases in each group. The patients in the acupuncture group were treated by puncturing Gongsun(SP 4), Sanyinjiao(SP 6), Taichong(LR 3), Zusanli(ST 36), Shangjuxu(ST 37), Hegu(LI 4), Lieque(LU 7), and Tianshu(ST 25), once every day, and 7 d as one course, for continuous 3 courses; while the patients in the medication group were given Phenolphthalein, 7 d as one course, for continuous 3 courses. Compared the Cleveland clinic constipation score(CCS) between the two groups after one course, 3 courses and 3 months after the treatment, as well as the frequency of defecation within one week. Results: After one week of treatment, CCS scores and frequency of defecation per week were significantly changed in both groups compared with those before treatment(P〈0.05), and CCS scores and frequency of defecation per week were improved more significantly in the patients of the medication group than in those of the acupuncture group(P〈0.01). After 3 weeks of treatment, CCS scores and frequency of defecation per week were significantly changed in both groups compared with those before treatment(P〈0.05), and CCS scores and frequency of defecation per week were improved more significant in the patients of the acupuncture group than in those of the medication group(P〈0.05). Three months after the end of treatment, CCS scores and frequency of defecation per week were significantly changed in both groups compared with those before treatment(P〈0.05), and CCS scores and frequency of defecation per week were improved more significantly in the patients of the acupuncture group than in those of the medication group(P〈0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture and medication are effective in the treatment of constipation due to intestinal qi stagnation. These solutions are generally efficient at reducing polluted surface flows, mainly by infiltration of the soil, raising the question of the fate of the infiltrated pollutants. An environmental evaluation was conducted on the efficiency of a grass strip receiving diuron-contaminated water from an uphill vineyard in France. During two runoff events, the following measurements were taken: surface inflow and outflow with Venturi flumes, vertical percolated flow below the root layer (0-50 cm), and variations in water and solute content of the root layer. One runoff event occurred under natural rainfall conditions, while the other runoff event was artificially provoked with water doped by diuron and bromide. For the natural runoff event, representative of medium intensity events, 94% of the diuron was retained in the root layer, whereas 2% left the grass strip by surface runoff and 4% left the grass strip in the water percolating under the root zone. For the artificial event, representative of intense runoff events, more than half of the incoming diuron was retained by the grass strip, whereas 24% and 18% of it were transferred by surface runoff and percolation, respectively. These results showed that the capacity of the root layer to retain diuron was highly significant despite a large percolation flux. However, for large runoff events, surface and subsurface losses can still be considerable, up to 40% of the pesticide load entering the strip.展开更多
The issue of navigation using binary pulsars is investigated in this paper.We show how the effect of the binary motion is incorporated in the navigation measurement equation.Necessary reference systems and time scales...The issue of navigation using binary pulsars is investigated in this paper.We show how the effect of the binary motion is incorporated in the navigation measurement equation.Necessary reference systems and time scales are introduced and the transformation between different time scales is derived.Based mainly on Damour and Deruelle's binary model and the TEMPO2 software,the timing model resolving the time delay from emission to arrival is established with the solar system,interstellar and binary system delays included,which retains all the terms exceeding 1 ns.The navigation measurement equation is thus built and the parameters needed are listed.A comparison is made between Sheikh's measurement equation and that in this paper.It is found that it is not necessary to introduce a fictitious SSB arrival time as Sheikh does.Near-Earth navigation for the Keplerian orbit in the case of observing one pulsar is investigated.The uncertainties of the orbit parameters are derived using the least square fitting method,which reveals that observing one pulsar enables one to navigate near-Earth spacecraft.展开更多
Many studies have shown that either the nearby astrophysical source or dark matter (DM) annihilation/decay can be used to explain the excess of high energy cosmic ray (CR) e^±which is detected by many experim...Many studies have shown that either the nearby astrophysical source or dark matter (DM) annihilation/decay can be used to explain the excess of high energy cosmic ray (CR) e^±which is detected by many experiments, such as PAMELA and AMS-02. Recently, the dark matter particle explorer (DAMPE) collaboration has reported its first result of the total CR e^± spectrum from 25 GeV to 4.6TeV with high precision. In this work, we study the DM annihilation and pulsar interpretations of this result. We show that the leptonic DM annihilation channels to r+'/"-, 4p, 4"/', and mixed charged lepton final states can well explain the DAMPE e^± spectrum. We also find that the mixed charged leptons channel would lead to a sharp drop structure at - TeV. However, the ordinary DM explanations have been almost excluded by the constraints from the observations of gamma-ray and CMB, unless some exotic DM models are introduced. In the pulsar scenario, we analyze 21 nearby known pulsars and assume that one of them dominantly contributes to the high energy CR e^± spectrum. Involving the constraint from the Fermi-LAT observation of the e^± anisotropy, we find that two pulsars could explain the DAMPE e^± spectrum. Our results show that it is difficult to discriminate between the DM annihilation and single pulsar explanations of high energy e^± with the current DAMPE result.展开更多
Diamonds are renowned as the record of Earth's evolution history.Natural diamonds on the Earth can be distinguished in light of genetic types as kimberlitic diamonds(including peridotitic diamonds and eclogitic di...Diamonds are renowned as the record of Earth's evolution history.Natural diamonds on the Earth can be distinguished in light of genetic types as kimberlitic diamonds(including peridotitic diamonds and eclogitic diamonds),ultrahigh-pressure metamorphic diamonds and ophiolitic diamonds.According to the inclusion mineralogy,most diamonds originated from continental lithospheric mantle at depths of 140-250 km.Several localities,however,yield ultradeep diamonds with inclusion compositions that require a sublithospheric origin(>~250 km).Ultradeep diamonds exhibit distinctions in terms of carbon isotope composition,N-concentration,mineral inclusions and so on.The present study provides a systematic compilation concerning the features of ultradeep diamonds,based on which to expound their genesis affinity with mantle-carbonate melts.The diamond-parental carbonate melts are proposed to be stemmed from the Earth's crust through subduction of oceanic lithosphere.Ultradeep diamonds are classified into a subgroup attaching to kimberlitic diamonds grounded by formation mechanism,and present connections in respect of carbon origin to eclogitic diamonds,ultrahigh-pressure metamorphic diamonds and ophiolitic diamonds.展开更多

文摘The issue of navigation using binary pulsars is investigated in this paper.We show how the effect of the binary motion is incorporated in the navigation measurement equation.Necessary reference systems and time scales are introduced and the transformation between different time scales is derived.Based mainly on Damour and Deruelle's binary model and the TEMPO2 software,the timing model resolving the time delay from emission to arrival is established with the solar system,interstellar and binary system delays included,which retains all the terms exceeding 1 ns.The navigation measurement equation is thus built and the parameters needed are listed.A comparison is made between Sheikh's measurement equation and that in this paper.It is found that it is not necessary to introduce a fictitious SSB arrival time as Sheikh does.Near-Earth navigation for the Keplerian orbit in the case of observing one pulsar is investigated.The uncertainties of the orbit parameters are derived using the least square fitting method,which reveals that observing one pulsar enables one to navigate near-Earth spacecraft.

文摘Many studies have shown that either the nearby astrophysical source or dark matter (DM) annihilation/decay can be used to explain the excess of high energy cosmic ray (CR) e^±which is detected by many experiments, such as PAMELA and AMS-02. Recently, the dark matter particle explorer (DAMPE) collaboration has reported its first result of the total CR e^± spectrum from 25 GeV to 4.6TeV with high precision. In this work, we study the DM annihilation and pulsar interpretations of this result. We show that the leptonic DM annihilation channels to r+'/"-, 4p, 4"/', and mixed charged lepton final states can well explain the DAMPE e^± spectrum. We also find that the mixed charged leptons channel would lead to a sharp drop structure at - TeV. However, the ordinary DM explanations have been almost excluded by the constraints from the observations of gamma-ray and CMB, unless some exotic DM models are introduced. In the pulsar scenario, we analyze 21 nearby known pulsars and assume that one of them dominantly contributes to the high energy CR e^± spectrum. Involving the constraint from the Fermi-LAT observation of the e^± anisotropy, we find that two pulsars could explain the DAMPE e^± spectrum. Our results show that it is difficult to discriminate between the DM annihilation and single pulsar explanations of high energy e^± with the current DAMPE result.

文摘Diamonds are renowned as the record of Earth's evolution history.Natural diamonds on the Earth can be distinguished in light of genetic types as kimberlitic diamonds(including peridotitic diamonds and eclogitic diamonds),ultrahigh-pressure metamorphic diamonds and ophiolitic diamonds.According to the inclusion mineralogy,most diamonds originated from continental lithospheric mantle at depths of 140-250 km.Several localities,however,yield ultradeep diamonds with inclusion compositions that require a sublithospheric origin(>~250 km).Ultradeep diamonds exhibit distinctions in terms of carbon isotope composition,N-concentration,mineral inclusions and so on.The present study provides a systematic compilation concerning the features of ultradeep diamonds,based on which to expound their genesis affinity with mantle-carbonate melts.The diamond-parental carbonate melts are proposed to be stemmed from the Earth's crust through subduction of oceanic lithosphere.Ultradeep diamonds are classified into a subgroup attaching to kimberlitic diamonds grounded by formation mechanism,and present connections in respect of carbon origin to eclogitic diamonds,ultrahigh-pressure metamorphic diamonds and ophiolitic diamonds.
