多元化实践教学模式在《城市分析方法》课程中的运用

《城市分析方法》是城乡规划专业的核心课程之一,是一门集实践性、现实性于一体,侧重于方法论及方法运用的学科。基于本课程的特点和培养要求,从学校人才培养模式及学生存在的普遍性问题出发,提出了多元化教学模式在本课程中的运用,旨在改变学生学习状态,提升学生学习兴趣,引导学生基于不同城市的地域特点学习相关理论与实践知识,从而构建科学理性的城乡规划思维模式,为接下来的课程学习奠定良好基础。

Urban Water Resource Utilization Efficiency in China

The efficient use of water resources directly affects environmental, social, and economic development; therefore, it has a significant impact on urban populations. A slacks-based measure for data envelopment analysis （SBM-DEA） has been widely used in energy efficiency and environmental efficiency analyses in recent years. Based on this model, data from 316 cities were examined and a category method was employed involving three different sorting techniques to empirically evaluate the efficiency of urban water re- source utilization in China between 2000 and 2012. The overall efficiency （OE） of urban water resource utilization in China was initially low, but has improved over the past decade. The scale efficiency （SE） was higher than the pure technological efficiency （PTE）; PTE is a major determining factor of OE, and has had an increasingly significant effect. The efficiency of water resource utilization varied ac- cording to the region, urban scale, and economic function. The OE score for the eastern China was higher than for the rest of the region, and the OE score for the western China was higher than for the central China. The OE score for urban water resource utilization has improved with urban expansion, except in the case of small cities. The SE showed an inverted U-shaped＇ trend with increasing urban expansion. The OE of urban water utilization in comprehensive functional cities was greater than in economic specialization cities, and was greater in heavy industry specialization cities than in other specialization cities. Real-time vehicle tracking for traffic monitoring systems

A real-time vehicle tracking method is proposed for trattlC monitoring system at roau mte^cc- tions, and the vehicle tracking module consists of an initialization stage and a tracking stage. Li- cense plate location based on edge density and color analysis is used to detect the license plate re- gion for tracking initialization. In the tracking stage, covariance matching is employed to track the license plate. Genetic algorithm is used to reduce the computational cost. Real-time image tracking of multi-lane vehicles is achieved. In the experiment, test videos are recorded in advance by record- ers of actual E-police systems erage false detection rate and at several different city intersections. In the tracking module, the av- missed plates rate are 1.19%, and 1.72%, respectively.

Data Mining and Visualization of Grid-Based City Emergency System

A cluster analyzing algorithm based on grids is introduced in this paper,which is applied to data mining in the city emergency system. In the previous applications, data mining was based on the method of analyzing points and lines, which was not efficient enough in dealing with the geographic information in units of police areas. The proposed algorithm maps an event set stored as a point set to a grid unit set, utilizes the cluster algorithm based on grids to find out all the clusters, and shows the results in the method of visualization. The algorithm performs well when dealing with high dimensional data sets and immense data. It is suitable for the data mining based on geogra-(phic) information system and is supportive to decision-makings in the city emergency system.

Heterogeneous Responses of Chinese Cities' Housing Prices to Monetary Policies

This works examine the responses of housing prices to the monetary policies in various Chinese cities. Thirty-five large and medium sized Chinese cities are classified into six clusters applying the minimum variance clustering method according to the calculated correlation coefficients between the housing price indices of every two cities.Time difference correlation analysis is then employed to quantify the relations between the housing price indices of the six clusters and the monetary policies.It is suggested that the housing prices of various cities evolved at different paces and their responses to the monetary policies are heterogeneous,and local economic features are more important than geographic distances in determining the housing price trends.

Pattern and mechanism of urban spatial growth in Nanjing City, 1979-2007

Urban spatial growth has become a hot topic of geographic science and urban research. Exploring the patterns and mechanisms of urban growth is the prerequisite to understand the urbanization process of China. The paper provides a spatial analysis method of using Remote Sensing （RS） and Geographic Information System （GIS）. and presents major patterns and mechanisms of urban spatial growth during the period from 1979 to 2007 in Nanjing City. Firstly, the paper introohwes the data, study area and methodology of the research. Then. the patterns of urban spatial growth are identified Subsequently, the main mechanisms of urban spatial growth are analyzed Finally some conclusions are drawn definitely. The features of urban spatial growth in Nanjing are as follows： during 1979-1988, urban spatial growth of each district was stow. and the inner growth was in excess of suburban growth; during the period of 1988-2000. urban growth of suburban was in excess of inner city. the most insensitive growth appeared in the southeast, and the growth of each aspect was relatively insensitive expect ecst and west; during the period of 2000-2007, urban growth of suburban was violent, the most insensitive growth appeared in the southeast. and the urban growth of each direction was insensitive except the west. The mechanisms of urban spatial growth are complex, the main ones of which are social and economic development. Besides. the guiding of urban planning and influence of urban spatial structure are quite obvious.

Study on the Evaluation of the New Line of Urban Rail Transit Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process

The basic conditions of Urban rail transit line test operation are mainly based on Basic condition for trial operation of urban rail transit （GB/T30013-2013） the basic conditions of the relevant provisions, but the status and standard of trial operation of the basic conditions for assessment of the operating departments are still inadequate, during the three mouth of trial running operations, the specific work of trial operation and exercise are not clear about what this study focuses. This study emphasizes on the methods of operation assessment, through the Analysis Hierarchy Process （AHP） to make the commissioning work carry out smoothly and effectively, making the running exercise Rally, and the emergency and safety follow-up operation process can be quickly handled properly, and it is also helpful to the sustainable development of urban raft transit.
