地方性民族伦理文化融入《基础课》课堂教学的途径探讨

《思想道德修养与法律基础》课的教学内容体系中,地方性民族伦理文化知识完全缺位。充分发掘地方高校所在地区的民族伦理文化精粹并将其融入《基础课》课堂教学,不仅可以充实教学内容,拓展大学生民族文化视野,促进民族伦理文化的传承,而且对提高《基础课》课堂教学的针对性和实效性具有重要意义。

在思政课中实施“自主+合作+实践”教学理念的思考——以《思想道德修养与法律基础》为例

为了提高思想政治理论课的教学质量,在《思想道德修养与法律基础》课(以下简称《基础课》)中开展了实施"自主+合作+实践"教学理念的探索和实践,旨在加强学生在思想政治理论课中的自主性学习、合作性学习、实践性学习,在探索和实践中,应注重在教学中贯彻"自主"的理念、"合作"的理念。

《思想道德修养与法律基础》课(以下简称《基础课》)在承担着传播国家主流价值观的职责的同时,还承担着"通识"教育的基础课程的任务。它在进行知识教育的同时,更要给予学生心灵的触动与行为的转化。这门课程具有很强的理论性、现实针对性和实践性,而且此门课程是所有大学生的必修课程,其受众面非常广泛。在教学过程中,坚持"以学生为本",打破传统单一的教学模式,构建"基于发展、知行结合、多元互动"的新模式。针对不同专业的学生,有针对性地整合课程内容;改革教学和考试方法,真正提升《基础课》的教学实效。

A Comparative Analysis of Teacher Talk Between Advanced and Fundamental English Major Courses

The importance of teacher talk in EFL （English as a foreign language） class has aroused much attention in China since the late 1990s. On a basis of classroom discourse analysis, this paper has observed 14 courses with 21 hours in total from advanced and fundamental grades in an English department. The classroom observation has been transcribed to analyze the features of teacher talk in various English courses in terms of five dimensions--discourse quantity, questioning types, feedback manners, interactional modification features, and conversation chains, It is found that on average there is significant difference in those five dimensions between fundamental and advanced courses. In terms of discourse quantity, the teacher talk has occupied more than 80% of the total talk amount and the total teacher talk in advanced courses is more than that in fundamental ones; the number of display questions is much more than that of referential questions; evaluative feedbacks are more than discursive ones; all of the teachers prefer to employ confirmation checks to modify students＇ answer, and half of the conversational chains are IRF （Initial-Response-Follow-up） structure while another half are full of complicated chains. The paper then provides some suggestions and implications for EFL teaching in the light of these findings.

Characterisation, Analysis and Design of Hydrated Cement Treated Crushed Rock Base as a Road Base Material in Western Australia

Hydrated Cement Treated Crushed Rock Base （HCTCRB） is widely used as a base course in Western Australian pavements. HCTCRB has been designed and used as a basis for empirical approaches and in empirical practices. These methods are not all-encompassing enough to adequately explain the behaviour of HCTCRB in the field. Recent developments in mechanistic approaches have proven more reliable in the design and analysis of pavement, making it possible to more effectively document the characteristics of HCTCRB. The aim of this study was to carry out laboratory testing to assess the mechanical characteristics of HCTCRB. Conventional triaxial tests and repeated load triaxial tests （RLT tests） were performed. Factors affecting the performance of HCTCRB, namely hydration periods and the amount of added water were also investigated. It was found that the shear strength parameters of HCTCRB were 177 kPa for cohesion （c） and 42~ for the internal friction angle （~）. The hydration period, and the water added in this investigation affected the performance of HCTCRB. However, the related trends associated with such factors could not be assessed. All HCTCRB samples showed stress-dependency behaviour. Based on the stress stages of this experiment, the resilient modulus values of HCTCRB ranged from 300 MPa to 1100 MPa. CIRCLY, a computer program based on the multi-layer elastic theory was used in the mechanistic approach to pavement design and analysis, to determine the performance of a typical pavement model using HCTCRB as a base course layer. The mechanistic pavement design parameters for HCTCRB as a base course material were then introduced. The analysis suggests that the suitable depth for HCTCRB as a base layer for WA roads is at least 185 mm for the design equivalent standard axle （ESA） of 10 million.

Research on Nantong Cratt Arts Resources and the Corresponding Applications on Local Higher Vocational Teaching

In this paper, we conduct research on Nantong craft arts resources and the corresponding applications on the local higher vocational teaching. Higher vocational design class of the students＇ professional foundation courses, such as building design students＇ basic pillars design literacy, must undertake in accord with cognitive law systematically on the basis of cultivating the students from observation of thinking to create professional ability, through the innovation of curriculum, make teachers and students can enter the process of teaching and learning in the form of natural, better support for follow-up professional course learning, in order to obtain comprehensively improve the quality and ability of the students, the education effect. Under this guideline, we combine the basic features of the Nantong craft arts resources to modify traditional education mode that is beneficial.

Basic Courses System Construction Based on Qualities Cultivation

Basic courses are responsible for the cultivation of integrative qualities, which is a guarantee of the long-term sustainable development for the students.However, they are now challenged by the specialized courses in Chinese colleges.This essay first analyzes the current situation of the provision of basic courses in higher vocational colleges of China, then expounds the requirements of qualities cultivation of enterprises, and at last centers on the basic courses system construction in higher vocational colleges on orientation of qualities cultivation.

The Practice Research of Task Driving Method in Basic Teaching of Information Technology

Purpose： It is used for judging the advantages and disadvantages of information technology foundation course teaching in health vocational colleges. Method： In teaching, it takes the two classes of 2012 grade nursing major as the experiment object. The comparison class adopts traditonal and speaking-practice combination teaching method and the experiment class adopts task-driving teaching method. When the semester finishes, it conducts testing andd questionnaire survey, collecting the relevant data, analyzing the changes of students in the aspects of performance, learning interest and attitude, autonomous learning consciousness and ability after experiment class adopting new teaching methods. Result： The exam performance of experiment class is obviously higher than the comparison class, and the experiment class has an obvious improvement in the aspects of learning interest, autonomous learning consciousness and ability, and the difference has statistical significance. Conclusion： The task driving teaching method is suitable for the status of information foundation teaching in health vocational colleges, which improves students＇ performance significantly and is good for students＇ learning interest and enthusiasm, obtaining good classroom effect. Also, it makes students＇ autonomous learning consciousness and ability improve greatly.

Investigation into the knowledge base of TEFL teachers in China

The key issues and challenges facing TEFL teachers in China with respect to prospective teacher preparation and professional development are discussed. Drawing upon earlier research on conceptual frameworks, the knowledge base of pre-service teachers is examined through research into the curriculums in TEFL education across diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. A comparative study of the curriculum structures in the education of TEFL teachers reveals a number of key areas of concern： the main hindrance to the development of a stronger knowledge base of pre-service teachers lies in the serious shortage of pedagogical content knowledge, fundamental pedagogical knowledge that are currently available, as well as with the overall inadequacy of practicum hours. It strongly argues for the breadth versus depth in course design and calls for the imperative to reconceptualize the knowledge base of pre-service teachers.

Phased Teaching of Higher Mathematics

The study of the teaching mode and method of plant biology

Research on the paperless test based on the computer elementary course

The Construction of a PPT-Based College English Class in Multimodal Background

This paper starts from other scholars＇ studies of multimodality and multimodal discourse and discusses PPT--PowerPoint, as a pragmatic and effective means in teaching English to non-English major students. By using multiple modalities of language, pictures, sound; and videos together with the facilities of slide-projector and computer, the multimodal background provides top teaching auxiliary for teachers employing PPT to achieve most desirable effects in real class. This paper discusses the feasibility and effectiveness of PPT as teaching materials and PPT-based class construction in order to show examples to other English teachers how to conduct English teaching and promote students to take more interests in English learning. The writer gets to the conclusion that PPT, as a multimodal measure in teaching, can help the students to learn English more effectively and teachers to achieve better quality in lectures.

The application of situational teaching method based on the Chinese linguistic literature

Dynamics is the foundation of undergraduate study in mechanical engineering. If you are good in dynamics, you will be good on all other courses. Advanced dynamics is the foundation for graduate study. The author taught advanced dynamics for more than ten years, this is the author＇s observation. Why it is so？ Because the course of advanced dynamics covers usually many mathematical fundamentals such as vectors, tensors, matrices and rotation operators; principles and applications in dynamics from particle dynamics to rigid body motion, from small oscillation to vibration of systems with multiple degrees of freedom, the author＇s course covers also special relativity theory. They are very innovative. And they set the foundation for the study of all the graduate courses. Science is always in progress, dynamics is in the same form. Just say a few examples to illustrate the frontier of dynamics： missile shooting missile is important in our defense, the author covered this as an example in particle dynamics. Space ship travels from Earth to Mars is another example. Several rotational motions with different axes can be combined to one through the use of rotation operator. This is important because it usually can save time. All these examples will be included in this paper in some details.
