Sponsored by Beijing Oriental Sunshine Public Relations and Shanghai Diplomats Group,the“Diplomat Luggage Series Party and Product Introduction”was held on July 12th 2007 at Beijing Duty Free Shop for diplomatic missions and promoting the“Diplomat”brand.This activity attracted diplomats from Bulgaria, Belarus,Kuwait,etc. The diplomats gave high praises to the party,and the luggage exhibited as well.Some diplomats bought the luggage,some others got a luck draw.They said the China-made luggage would accompany them to travel across the world.The activity was in a leisure,happy and exciting atmosphere. Nowadays, with the development of the Internet, especially the mobile Internet, the appearance of WeCbat has a deep influence on the communication among people, WeChat public accounts have changed a lot to the experie...Nowadays, with the development of the Internet, especially the mobile Internet, the appearance of WeCbat has a deep influence on the communication among people, WeChat public accounts have changed a lot to the experience of getting information for people of all ages at the same time. As a new platform for public diplomacy, many foreign embassies and consulates in China have built their own public accounts of WeChat. These public accounts have become a new type of media to learn about these countries＇ culture, society, and so on. The paper takes the WeChat public account of the US embassy in China as an example, collecting information during a period of time and summarizing their characteristics and revelations. As a model of new media public diplomacy, WeChat public accounts have a silent transforming influence of public diplomacy. In addition, the new media public diplomacy plays an important role in promoting the development of China＇s public diplomacy strategy, which increasingly becomes a useful supplement to China＇s foreign policy. The year 2017 marked not only the 45th anniversary of the establishment of China-Australia diplomatic relations,but also significant turbulence in the relationship.While bilateral economic and trade relations,as well ...The year 2017 marked not only the 45th anniversary of the establishment of China-Australia diplomatic relations,but also significant turbulence in the relationship.While bilateral economic and trade relations,as well as people-to-people communication and cooperation continue to grow,a series of dramatic and negative events unfolded in Australia,advocating the so-called"China threat",and instigated by anti-China sentiments.The recent anti-China backlash in Australia was caused by a combination of deep structural change in the current international system,and instability in Australia’s domestic politics.It is also the outcome of Australia’s dependence on the US-Australia alliance,while balancing between its own economic and security interests.It is worth noting that in comparison to the past,the current anti-China movement in Australia has been more profound and more focused,demonstrating new characteristics.This includes Australia collaborating with certain Western nations against China’s influence,as well as strategic warnings with more political and policy implications.Although Australia’s anti-China backlash will not have a fundamental impact on China-Australia relations,Australia’s anti-China stance and behavior is characteristic of an increasingly prevalent trend among the Western nations of concern about China’s rising influence,and new defense strategies against this.China must proceed with caution when dealing with the negative repercussions of this.展开更多

The IPU （guided, from 1901 up to 1908, by Fredreric Passy and William Randall Cremer）, was to support and reinforce the objective of extending arbitration as a ＇peaceful tool＇ for resolving the dispute between states. The aftermath of the First World War marked a decisive step forward in the development of a strong liberal internationalist milieux which promoted a peaceful order based on the international rule of law. This paper summarizes some issues of ongoing research and it focuses on two key topics： the rise of parliamentary control of foreign policy and the making of ＇parliamentary diplomacy＇. Besides, it tried to elucidate, from another point of view, the political building of ＇transnational and peaceful politics＇ aimed at the growth of peaceful and ＇progressive＇ social relations among States and how the ＇peaceful politics＇ are subjects that engage the complexity and the deep-rooted issues of State facing to the ＇first globalization＇ and the ＇end of century crisis＇.展开更多
After World War II,political parties were on the rise around the world,influencing affairs at home and abroad.Party diplomacy became a new type of diplomacy.The Eighth National Congress of the Communist Party of China...After World War II,political parties were on the rise around the world,influencing affairs at home and abroad.Party diplomacy became a new type of diplomacy.The Eighth National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 1956 was a major event in the history of CPC diplomacy,as it was the first Congress the Party had convened since the founding of the People’s Republic in 1949.Particularly significant was the Party’s diplomatic activity during the Congress.Most importantly,this was the first and only time since 1949 that foreign party delegations had been invited to attend the Congress.The Party’s active conduct of party-to-party diplomacy utilized the Eighth National Congress as a platform.More than fifty foreign party delegations were invited to attend,including delegations from fraternal parties who made speeches at the Congress.Inter-party exchanges were actively pursued,including arrangements for delegates to tour different parts of China.The party diplomacy of the Eighth National Congress achieved its purpose of deepening inter-party friendship and exchanges by showcasing post-1949 China and highlighting the Party’s goals.It thus had a far-reaching historical significance.展开更多
