It can make parallel computer coordinating computing and processing at much more higher speed, storing and transmitting even more efficiently.展开更多
During the exploitation of offshore oil and gas,it is easy to form severe slugging which can cause great harm in the riser connecting wellheads and offshore platform preprocessing system.The flow pattern and pressure ...During the exploitation of offshore oil and gas,it is easy to form severe slugging which can cause great harm in the riser connecting wellheads and offshore platform preprocessing system.The flow pattern and pressure fluctuation of severe slugging were studied in an experimental simulation system with inner diameter of 0.051 m.It is found that severe slugging can be divided into three severe slugging regimes:regime I at low gas and liquid flow rates with large pressure fluctuation,intermittent flow of liquid and gas in the riser,and apparent cutoff of liquid phase,regime II at high gas flow rate with non-periodic fluctuation and discontinuous liquid outflow and no gas cutoff,regime III at high liquid flow rate with degenerative pressure fluctuation in form of relatively stable bubbly or plug flow.The results indicate that severe slugging still occurs when the declination angle of pipeline is 0,and there are mainly two kinds of regimes:regime I and regime II.As the angle increases,the formation ranges of regime I and regime III increase slightly while that of regime II is not affected.With the increase of gas superficial velocity and liquid superficial velocity,the pressure fluctuation at the bottom of riser increases initially and then decreases.The maximum value of pressure fluctuation occurs at the transition boundary of regimes I and II.展开更多
This study analyses the possibilities for optimal land use structure in mountainous areas of rural Serbia, which is faced with problems such as unfavorable terrain characteristics and inadequate land use patterns caus...This study analyses the possibilities for optimal land use structure in mountainous areas of rural Serbia, which is faced with problems such as unfavorable terrain characteristics and inadequate land use patterns causing economic underdevelopment and increasing population migration. In the case of a small privately owned farm in Western Serbia, optimal land use pattern is determined using the linear programming model. The objective function-cost-effectiveness or soil erosion reduction, as well as constraints, are formulated using the benefit-cost ratio(BCR) for a 15-year production period and soil losses data calculated using the Universal Soil Loss Equation(USLE). The best results are achieved using the scenario with the aim to minimize soil erosion, considering the BCR in the constraints. This scenario is proposed since it was registered that the benefit for landowners would increase by five times, while the losses of land would decline about 80%. The sensitivity analysis of investments is performed to check whether the price variation affects the cost-effectiveness of proposed land use. Results show that market changes(nine cases are considered) do not lead to significant changes in land use allocation. Proposed land use pattern improves the environmental condition, strengthens the rural economy and thus offers the greatest potential for sustainable development of mountainous rural areas.展开更多

Objective To explore the remote efficacy and safety of consciousness-restoring resuscitation (Xingnao Kaiqiao, short for XNKQ) acupuncture on cerebral infarction at recovery phase. Methods Two hundred and thirty-fou...Objective To explore the remote efficacy and safety of consciousness-restoring resuscitation (Xingnao Kaiqiao, short for XNKQ) acupuncture on cerebral infarction at recovery phase. Methods Two hundred and thirty-four cases of cerebral infarction at recovery phase were randomized into XNKQ group and routine acupuncture group (routine group) in light of SAS code. One hundred and sixteen cases in the XNKQ group were treated with XNKQ acupuncture (once a day, totally 4 weeks) and routine treatment with western medicine. One hundred and eighteen cases in the routine group received routine acupuncture and routine treatment with western medicine. Follow-up lasted 6 months. Primary indexes: the situations of survival, treatment and recurrence at the end of follow-up. Secondary indexes: assessment of nerve functions at the end of follow-up and rate of adverse events during acupunc- ture. Results In 6 months follow-up, the mortality was 0.86% and rate of continuous treatment was 36.21% in the XNKQ group and they were 1.69% and 36.44% respectively in the routine group. The differences did not present statistical significance between the two groups (X^2 = 0.29, P=0.59; X^2 = 0.32, P = 0.57). Concerning to the decrease of recurrence rate and improvement of nerve functions, the out-comes in the XNKQ group were superior to those in the routine group (P〈0.01). Severe adverse events did not happen in the two groups. Conclusion XNKQ acupuncture is safe therapy and its remote efficacy is superior to that of routine acupuncture in the decrease of recurrence rate and improvement of nerve functions.展开更多

Structure design and optimi...By using silicon-on-insulator(SOI) platform, 12 channel waveguides, and four parallel-coupling one-microring resonator routing elements, a non-blocking four-port optical router is proposed. Structure design and optimization are performed on the routing elements at 1 550 nm. At drop state with a power consumption of 0 m W, the insertion loss of the drop port is less than 1.12 d B, and the crosstalk between the two output ports is less than-28 d B; at through state with a power consumption of 22 m W, the insertion loss of the through port is less than 0.45 d B, and the crosstalk between the two output ports is below-21 d B. Routing topology and function are demonstrated for the four-port optical router. The router can work at nine non-blocking routing states using the thermo-optic(TO) effect of silicon for tuning the resonance of each switching element. Detailed characterizations are presented, including output spectrum, insertion loss, and crosstalk. According to the analysis on all the data links of the router, the insertion loss is within the range of 0.13—3.36 d B, and the crosstalk is less than-19.46 d B. The router can meet the need of large-scale optical network-on-chip(ONo C).展开更多
