The implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative has further enhanced the influence of the way in which cultural exchange occurs between the two countries. This paper will examine the Russian translation methods of culture-loaded words in the book “I’m Going to Xinjiang”. The objective is to provide an accurate reflection of Xinjiang’s natural history, traditional culture and social economy, while simultaneously disseminating Chinese culture, showcasing Chinese images and enriching relevant research on the Russian translation of culture-loaded words.
