The required coordinate systems are es...To expand scanning area and attack range without changing the inner structure of intelligent warhead, a new arrangement mode of the scanner for intelligent mine is proposed. The required coordinate systems are established firstly on the basis of advanced dynamics principle. and the exterior ballistics equations are deduced. Then the equations of scanning trails are established by the method of space analytic geometry. To get the scanning trails. the differential equations are transformed into discrete simulation model using the algorithm of fourth order Runge-Kutta and then are simulated using Matlab. Compared with the scanning trails obtained by the traditional layout of scanner, the scanning trails obtained by the proposed layout of scanner has larger horizontal range of scanning circle and bigger trarget acquisition probability. Therefore, the new arrangement mode of the scanner for intelligent mine can increase attack range.展开更多

The scanning angular velocity and the scanning angular scope are determined respectively. The angular velocity of the scanning antenna is controlled to scan over just one azimuth 3 dB beam width in the time interval during which the radar platform moves over one synthetic aperture length determined from the desired cross-range resolution, radar wavelength, nominal slant range, and squint angle. The scanning angular scope is mainly determined by the azimuth width of the terrain patch, nominal slant range, squint angle, platform velocity, and azimuth beam width. Finally, the related experimental results of an airborne SAR are presented. The linear range-Doppler algorithm is employed in image formation after motion compensation is conducted to remove the effect of transnational motion of the radar platform relative to the map center.展开更多

Inaccurate Doppler centroid frequency will result in ghost images in imaging result. In this letter, the principle and algorithms of Doppler centroid frequency estimation are introduced. Then the echo data of ScanSAR system is analyzed. Based on the algorithms of energy balancing and correlation Doppler estimator in the estimation of Doppler centroid frequency in strip mode SAR, an improved method for Doppler centroid frequency estimation in ScanSAR is proposed. The method has improved the accuracy of Doppler centroid frequency estimation in ScanSAR by zero padding between burst data. Finally, the proposed method is validated with the processing of ENVIronment SATellite Advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (ENVISAT ASAR) wide swath raw data.展开更多

For this reason, several techniques such as total station, radar, terrestrial Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) can be employed for surface measurement. The objective of this study is to investigate mesh algorithms, which can be used to interpolate 3D models of pit walls. Experiments were carried out at Coc Sau open-pit mine at Quang Ninh province of Vietnam, and at experimental mine of Akademia Gtrniczo-Hutnicza University of Science and Technology in Cracow, Poland. First, 3D point cloud data for the study area was acquired by using terrestrial LIDAR, then was used to generate mesh surfaces using three algorithms--Delaunay 2.5D XY Plane, Delaunay 2.5D Best Fitting Plane, and Mesh from Points. After that, the results were rectified and optimized. Subsequently, the optimized meshes were used for generation of non-uniform rational basis spline (NURBS) surfaces. Then, the NURBS surface accuracy was assessed. The results showed that the average distance between surface and point cloud was within range of 5.6-5.8 mm with deviation of 6.2-6.8 mm, depending on the used mesh. Additionally, the quality of surfaces depends on the quality of input data set and the algorithm used to generate mesh network, and the accuracy of computed NURBS surfaces fitting into pointset was 4-5 times lower than that of optimized mesh fitting. However, the accuracy of the final product allows determining displacements on the level of centimeters.展开更多

In order to study the triangulation for the point cloud data collected by three-dimensional laser radar,in accordance with the line-by-line characteristics of laser radar scanning,an improved Delaunay triangulation me...In order to study the triangulation for the point cloud data collected by three-dimensional laser radar,in accordance with the line-by-line characteristics of laser radar scanning,an improved Delaunay triangulation method is proposed to mesh the point cloud data as a triangulation irregular network.Based on the geometric topology location information among radar point cloud data,focusing on the position relationship between adjacent scanning line of the point data,a preliminary match network is obtained according to their geometric relationship.A reasonable triangulation network for the object surface is acquired after the use of local optimization on initial mesh by Delaunay rule.Meanwhile,a new judging rule is proposed to contrast the triangulation before and after the optimization on the network.The result shows that triangulation for point cloud with full use of its own characteristics can improve the speed of the algorithm obviously,and the rule for judging the triangulation can evaluate the quality of network.展开更多
