传播技术在人类社会发展中占有非常重要的地位,作为新媒体发展过程中一个不可或缺的因素,技术的变革对社会发展的影响极大。《新媒体技术》一书基于此视角,对20世纪50年代以来的媒体技术发展史上具有里程碑意义、具有代表性的媒体技术进行总体梳理,以期从发展的视域去理解把握新媒体。通过对已有媒体技术的整理,全书沿着网络化新媒体技术、数字型新媒体技术、移动型新媒体技术、户外型新媒体技术、新理念新媒体技术的脉络来阐述新媒体技术在各个领域的应用特点,是一本以新媒体实践较有价值的学术参考著作。

Development and application of the ideological and political education in universities during new media time

Life in Kazuo Ishiguro＇s Never Let Me Go

With the announcement of the sheep clone Dolly as the breakthrough in the biotechnology in news media around the turn of the twenty-first century, the rising issue of human clones in its development and the controversially bioethical issues ensued, Kazuo Ishiguro in Never Let Me Go （2005） focuses his attention, in the area of cell therapy, on how human clones, since produced, lead their model lives and face their deaths, in order that his readers may better understand the meanings of life and death, and that they may stay in a far closer relationship with their family and friends than ever. In this essay, I examine, in two worlds, the normals＇ and the clones＇, paralleling each other, the true meanings of being human and their lives through the perspective of Jacques Derrida＇s deconstruction; and I argue that Ishiguro misspeaks to his readers the true meanings of life and death especially through the clones＇ perspective and brings them to his readers＇ hearts further realistically. In Derrida＇s nature-culture structurality of the clones, it is Kathy H. who comes as center into which the other clones come as freeplay in the structurality of the real world, where it is normals who come as center into which clones come as freeplay under the structurality of power in the institutions where the clones＇ culture comes as center into which Miss Emily＇s ruling comes as freeplay by the structurality of authorship where the author comes as center into which the novel comes as freeplay.

Then and Now： A Content Analysis of Media Used in the Presidential Election Campaigns of Kennedy and Obama

American campaigning has become increasingly complex as it adjusts to our ever-changing cultural landscape. The use of electronic media in the presidential campaigns of 1960 and 2008 is illustrative of this shift. A content analysis of these two campaigns demonstrates how each applied the newest technologies available at the time to define the candidate＇s image and export the messages to the electorate. Whether it be Kennedy＇s use of television or Obama＇s usage of social media, the role that new media of the day played in both campaigns clearly set the tone for future political campaigns. This examination of the role of media in both elections serves to form a primer for how the successful applications of new media lead to campaign victory. Then and now, the growing influence of new technologies on campaigning makes it necessary to compare and contrast the successful usages and strategies employed. The need for continuing analysis will grow in the coming years.

Analogue Angels and Digital Diamonds： Tracing the Origins of New Media Art

This paper explores the key vocabularies, themes, ideas, artistic movements, and technological innovations contributing to the development of the digital arts over time. As new media theorists have argued, one of the defining features of the digital arts is the break-down of divisions between art forms, and between art and society （for example, Manovich 2001, 2005）. This paper outlines how digital processes intersect with aesthetic and conceptual forms. Relevant frameworks, such as materiality, embodiment, hybridity, interactivity, and narrativity, form the origins of the genre. Digital artworks, like digital media, are interactive, participatory, dynamic, and customizable, incorporating shifting data flows and real-time user inputs （Paul 2003, 67）. The customization of content and technology, as well as the recontextualization of information, characterize projects of digital art.

A Comparative Study of the Different Design between Interactive New Media E-books and Paper Books

With the rapid development of modem computer technology, Intemet technology has penetrated into people＇s daily life and work and application technology of the Intemet-related products has been promoted, including e-books which are an important part of people＇s lives. Currently e-books gained popularity caused by interactive new media technology and at the same time, the traditional paper books also face enormous challenges. The concepts of interactive new media and e-books were analyzed in this paper. The different design between interactive new media e-books and paper books has been analyzed comparatively, especially from the perspective of the design and layout from the text, colors, images, audio design and cover design to explore the different design between interactive new media e-books and paper books. Finally, under the background of lnternet economic development, interactive new media e-books will be a promising product.

In this paper, we conduct research on the development direction of traditional broadcast television movie media under background of new media and lnternet. In recent years, with the computer technology network communication technology and constant innovation rapid development of digital technology, digital new media got rapid development. Under the digital new media industry has gradually become the core industry of 21 st century knowledge economy and the new economic growth point. But there are still some problems in the digital of new media development. How to treat these problems to take effective countermeasures is vital to healthy development of the new media. Our research proposes corresponding guidance and the perspective on the development orientation which acts as the paradigm and the guideline.
