The CD and CD process window near the "dip",usually found near a pitch range of 1.1 to 1.4 wavelength/ NA (numerical aperture),is smaller when compared with other pitches. This is caused by inadequate imaging contrast for an unequal line and space grating. Although this effect is relatively well-known, its relationship with typical process condition parameters, such as the effective image blur caused by the photo-acid diffusion during the post exposure bake or the aberration in the imaging lens, has not been systematically studied. In this paper, we will examine the correlation between the image blur and the effect on the CD, including the decrease in the CD value (the depth of the "dip") and the CD process window. We find that both the decrease in the CD value and the focus latitude near the forbidden pitch correlate very well with the effective Gaussian image blur. Longer effective diffusion length correlates well with a smaller process window and a deeper CD "dip". We conclude that the dip depth is very sensitive to the change in image contrast.展开更多

The proposed channel model characterizes vehicular radio propagation channels with considerations of moving base and mobile stations, which makes the angle of arrivals(AOAs) along with the angle of departures(AODs) time-variant. We introduce the methodology of including the time-variant impacts when characterizing non-stationary radio propagation channels through the geometrical channel modelling approach. We analyze the statistical properties of the proposed channel model including the local time-variant autocorrelation function(ACF) and the space cross-correlation functions(CCFs). We show that the model developed in this paper for non-stationary scenarios includes the existing one-ring wide-sense stationary channel model as its special case.展开更多

METHODSThe hemostatic abilities of the two methods were analyzed retrospectively in all six gastric endoscopic submucosal dissection cases. The treated vessel diameter, compressed vessel frequency, and bleeding frequency after cutting the vessels were noted by the recorded videos. The coagulation mechanism of the two power settings was evaluated using the data recording program and histological examination on macro- and microscopic levels in the ex vivo experiments using porcine tissues. RESULTSF1-10 method showed a significantly better hemostatic ability for vessels ≥ 2 mm in diameter and a trend of overall better coagulation effect, evaluated by the bleeding rate after cutting the vessels. F1-10 method could sustain electrical current longer and effectively coagulate the tissue wider and deeper than the S method in the porcine model. CONCLUSIONF1-10 method is suggested to achieve a stronger hemostatic effect than the S method in clinical procedures and ex vivo models.展开更多

At baseline, all patients underwent assessment by an integrated gastro-rheumatologic evaluation of articular and gastrointestinal activity, as well patient reported outcomes(PROs) of the HRQo L questionnaires. After this integrated evaluation and following a specific working flowchart, the Ada anti-tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-inhibitor was assigned to a cohort of 30 patients and its clinical efficacy was evaluated at baseline and after 6-mo and 12-mo treatment by the following tests:(1) Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity ScoreC-Reactive Protein(ASDAS-CRP); Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Index(BASDAI), Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Functional Index(BASFI) and Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Metrology Index(BASMI) for articular activity;(2) Inflammatory Bowel Disease Questionnaire(IBDQ), Crohn's Disease Activity Index(CDAI) and partial Mayo(p Mayo) score for gastrointestinal symptoms and activity; and(3) Health Assessment Questionnaire(HAQ), Patient Global Assessment(PGA) and Short Form-36 health survey(SF-36) questionnaires for PROs of the HRQo L.RESULTS Integrated evaluation and management of the patients affected by ES, carried out simultaneously by a gastroenterologist and a rheumatologist, allowed clinicians to choose the optimal therapeutic strategy. In a cohort of 30 ES patients affected by active articular and gastrointestinal disease, or axial active articular inflammation, Ada led to fast and sustained improvement of both articular and gastrointestinal disease activities. In fact, all the clinimetric evaluation tests exploring articular or gastrointestinal activity, as well as all the HRQo L scores, showed a significant improvement having been achieved at the earliest(6-mo) assessment. This important clinical improvement was maintained at the 12-mo follow-up. Importantly, global and gastrointestinal quality of life significantly correlated with articular disease activity, providing evidence to support that the integrated evaluation is the best option to manage patients with ES.CONCLUSION Ada treatment, upon multidisciplinary(gastrorheumatologic) evaluation, significantly improves both articular and gastrointestinal inflammation, thereby improving the HRQo L in patients affected by ES.展开更多

The corrosion process was monitored in 3.5% HCI by mass loss and electrochemical techniques at 30, 40, 50, 60 and 90 ℃. Addition of AMC and PTI increased the inhibition efficiency with the highest inhibition efficiency obtained with PTI blend- ed extract. The blends behaved as mixed type inhibitors and were spontaneously adsorbed on mild steel surface in exothermic nature. Synergistic parameters of the intensifier ions revealed cooperative effect. Kinetic data treatment indicated increase in energy barrier by intensifier ions. The results demonstrate that elephant grass extract blended with halide ions can act as alternative ecofriendly inhibitor for mild steel at elevated temperatures.展开更多

The stratospheric aerosol distributions exhibited hemispheric asymmetry between the Northern Hemisphere (NH) and the Southern Hemisphere (SH). In the lower stratosphere below 20 km, the zonal averaged aerosol optical depths in the NH were higher than those of the corresponding SH; whereas at higher altitudes above 20 km, the optical depths in the SH-- except the equatorial region--were higher than those of the NH. At 0-10°N and 10-20°N, the stratospheric aerosol optical depth (SAOD) exhibited larger values in boreal winter and lower values in the spring and summer; at 0-10°S and 10-20°S, the SAOD presented small seasonal variations. At 30-40°N, the SAOD presented larger values in the boreal fall and winter and lower values in the spring and summer; while at 30-40°S, the SAOD exhibited larger values in the austral winter and early spring and lower values in the summer and fall. These characteristics can mainly be attributed to the seasonal cycle of the dynamic transport, and the effects of the buildup and breakdown of the polar vortex. At 50-60°S, the SAOD exhibited extremely high values during austral winter associated with the Antarctic polar vortex boundary; at 50-60°N, the SAOD also exhibited larger values during the boreal winter, but it was much less obvious than that of its southern counterpart.展开更多

This paper investigates the time evolution of the entanglement between two atoms, which are initially prepared in the Bell states and each of which interacts with its own cavity field in the identical and non-identical double damping Jaynes-Cummings(J-C) system. It mainly considers the effect of the atomic spontaneous decay Γ and the decay of cavity field κ on the two-qubit entanglement in such system. While causing the decay of entanglement, Γ and κ can also play a positive role in the entanglement evolution, which may imply a way to better control and maintain the entanglement. What is more, the rules governing the transfer of entanglement between two-qubit subsystems in strong coupling regime are finally studied by taking Γ and κ into consideration.展开更多

To this end, an explicit Lyapunov function as a weighted and squared H2-norm of a small perturbation of the stationary solution is constructed. The authors show that by a suitable choice of the boundary feedback conditions, the H2- exponential stability of the stationary solution follows. Due to this fact, the system is stabilized over an infinite time interval. Furthermore, exponential estimates for the C norm are derived.展开更多
