Model Identification of Water Purification Systems Using RBF Neural Network

Aim The RFB (radial hats function) netal network was studied for the model indentificaiton of an ozonation/BAC system. Methods The optimal ozone's dosage and the remain time in carbon tower were analyzed to build the neural network model by which the expected outflow CODM can be acquired under the inflow CODM condition. Results The improved self-organized learning algorithm can assign the centers into appropriate places , and the RBF network's outputs at the sample points fit the experimental data very well. Conclusion The model of ozonation /BAC system based on the RBF network am describe the relationshipamong various factors correctly, a new prouding approach tO the wate purification process is provided.

An Alternative-Service Recommending Algorithm Based on Semantic Similarity

With the development of the Internet of Things(Io T), people's lives have become increasingly convenient. It is desirable for smart home(SH) systems to integrate and leverage the enormous information available from IoT. Information can be analyzed to learn user intentions and automatically provide the appropriate services. However, existing service recommendation models typically do not consider the services that are unavailable in a user's living environment. In order to address this problem, we propose a series of semantic models for SH devices. These semantic models can be used to infer user intentions. Based on the models, we proposed a service recommendation probability model and an alternative-service recommending algorithm. The algorithm is devoted to providing appropriate alternative services when the desired service is unavailable. The algorithm has been implemented and achieves accuracy higher than traditional Hidden Markov Model(HMM). The maximum accuracy achieved is 68.3%.

Anne Frank： The Commemoration of Individual Experiences of the Holocaust

Holocaust memorial sites rarely tell the story of individual fates but rather give attention to the main or larger population groups that were the focus of persecution and extermination during the Nazi Germany twelve years of terror in Europe 1933-45. This essay takes a closer look at one of the most remarkable exemptions of the prevailing memory culture at Holocaust memorials： the sites and events highlighting Anne Frank and her short life in troubled times. Over the past years millions of travelers from all over the world have shown a genuine interest in learning about the life world of their young heroine thus creating what has been termed Anne Frank Tourism. In 2014, 1.2 million people visited the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam： the museum and educational center, the place in hiding where she wrote her now famous and widely read diary. Several other sites connected to the life path of Anne Frank, from her birth place in Frankfurt to the Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp where her life prematurely ended, have also become part of the mostly young tourists＇ search for Anne Frank＇s life and legacy. With the rising popularity of Anne Frank related sites the management of some of the locales has become more problematic which is discussed in the context of a several museums, centers and historic sites. On a more general note, it is argued here that in recent years the more group oriented commemoration practices at Holocaust sites have given way to a trend of putting individual faces to the victims of the Holocaust. It was, in particular, novels, films and TV productions about the Holocaust that emphasized individual life paths and events and enticed visitation to more personalized sites. Steven Spielberg＇s popular movie Schindler＇s List, for example, contributed to ＂Schindler tourism＂, a form of special interest tourism in Krakow. More and more Holocaust memorial sites have also started to honor outstanding individuals or small groups in resistance and opposition to Nazi Germany. Examples of this are the fighters of the 1943 uprising at the Sobibor death camp and the courageous student members of the ＂White Rose＂ in Munich who stood up to the powers of the time and were executed. Design and Evaluation of SIMpliLife, an NFC Platform to Ease Day-to-Day Actions of People＇s Life

In this paper the authors describe the design, prototyping and evaluation of SIMpliLife, a framework for mobile phones with the aim of making people＇s life easier, providing day-to-day services such as payment, ticketing and information retrieval by means of NFC （Near Field Communication） technology. It was developed via the collaboration between two research labs of Sapienza University of Rome： the RFID （Radio Frequency Identification） Lab and the Usability and Accessibility Lab （LUA）, both belonging to CATTID （Centre for Applications of Teleservices and of Technologies for Innovation in Digital world） research centre. Technically, SIMpliLife is a SIM-based platform for NFC mobile phones that interfaces several applications able to manage the abovementioned services. The high-level User Interface has been developed by means of Smart Card Web Server （SCWS） technology, thus providing enhanced user experience if compared to traditional SIM-based implementations based on SIM Toolkit.

Phenomenological Simulation Study of Neuronal Activity Synchronization in 110 Elements Network

The phenomenon of activity synchronization in biological neural network is considered. Simulation of neurons dynamics in the 6-layer neural network with 110 elements in different regimes： regular spikes, chaotic spikes, regular and chaotic bursting, etc was performed. Izhykevich＇s phenomenological model that displays different types of activity inherent for real biological neurons was used for simulation. Space-time diagram for the entire network and raster plots for the whole structure and for each layer separately were built for visual inspection of neural network activity synchronization. Synchronization coefficients based on cross-correlation times of action potentials for all neurons pairs were calculated for the whole neural system and for each layer separately.

Study on the Promotion Strategy of College Students’ Reading and Writing Ability Under the Micro Network Environment

DS-MMAC:A Delay-Sensitive Multi-Channel MAC Protocol for Ambient Assistant Living Systems

In Ambient Assistant Living(AAL) systems, it is a fundamental problem to ensure prompt delivery of detected events, such as irregular heart rate or fall of elderly, to a central processing device(e.g. gateway node). Most of recently proposed MAC protocols for low-power embedded sensing systems(e.g. wireless sensor networks) are designed with energy efficiency as the first goal, so they are not suitable for AAL systems. Although some multi-channel MAC protocols have been proposed to address the problem, most of those protocols ignore the cost of channel switching, which can have reverse effect on network performance, especially latency of data delivery. In this paper, we propose a Delay-Sensitive Multi-channel MAC protocol(DS-MMAC) for AAL systems, which can provide high packet delivery ratio and bound low latency for data delivered to the gateway node. The novelty of the protocol is that an efficient distributed time slot scheduling and channel assignment algorithm is combined with the process of route establishment, which takes the channel switching cost into account and reduces endto-end delay to meet the required delay bound of each data flow. The performance of the proposed protocol is evaluated through extensive simulations. Results show that DS-MMAC can bound low latency for delivering detected events in AAL system to the gateway, while providing high delivery reliability and low energy consumption.
