[Method] Three different exoge- nous hormones IBA, NAA and ABT, each with concentrations of 500, 1 000, 1 500 and 2 000 mg/L were used to treat S. microphylla cuttings, and changes in the ac- tivities of peroxidase (POD), poiyphenol oxidase (PPO) and indoleacetic acid oxidase (IAAO) during the rooting process were also investigated. [Result] The most appro- priate concentrations of IBA, ABT and NAA were 1 500, 1 000 and 1 000 mg/L, respectively, and the 1 500 mg/L IBA treatment exhibited the best effect on rooting. Throughout the rooting process, POD and PPO activities showed the same trends in the treatment groups as those in the control group, but the POD and PPO activi- ties in the treatment groups were increased significantly, with greater amplitude of variation; at the early stage, IAAO activity exhibited an opposite trend between the control group and the treatment groups, which increased slowly in the former, but decreased rapidly in the latter, and it was significantly lower in the treatment groups compared to the control; additionally, higher POD and IAAO activities were con- ducive to the induction of adventitious roots, and lower POD and IAAO activities fa- vored their formation and elongation. [Conclusion] This study has preliminarily clari- fied the rooting mechanism of S. microphylla cuttings.展开更多

Yamaz.) from the mountain of Evota top in South Yakutia are shown. Extracts of these plants was analyzed by method of planar chromatography in thin layers using different specific detectors to exposure of some groups of biologically active matters. During the researches, it was established that polyphenol compounds of different degree of condensment prevail in rhododendron composition; catechines, flavonoids, coumarins, saponins, essential oils, phenol carboxylic acids and arbutin are present too. Due to detected features, all the researched species of rhododendrons are perspective for practical using in food industry and as adaptogenes for maintenance of people health in the conditions of north.展开更多

In this research, the anti-inflammatory activities of essential oil and the antibacterial activities of ethanol extraction were determined, respectively. Results showed that based on the GC-MS analysis there were 35 kinds of active ingredients in the essential oil in totally, mainly including D-limonene(24.158 ml/L), α-Pinene(23.325 ml/L), Camphor(9.855 ml/L),Camphene(7.076 ml/L), Verbenone(6.685 ml/L), Borneol(5.580 ml/L), etc. The LCUV determination indicated that the main components in the ethanol extractionwere rosmarinic acid(3 910 mg/kg) and carnosic acid(2 970 mg/kg). By mice peritoneal macrophage phagocytosis of chicken erythrocytes experiment, the essential oil of rosemary was shown having a significant role in anti-inflammation. And the ethanol extraction had broad-spectrum antibacterial effects, but had no effect on mold by the agar diffusion method of 8 bacteria. As a result, both rosemary essential oil and ethanol extraction had good potential medicinal values.展开更多

The results show that SOD, CAT and GSH-Px had diff erent induction and inhibition reactions to anthracene stress, and that three diff erent organs in R. philippinarum(visceral mass, muscle tissue and mantle) had diff erent sensitivities to anthracene stress. This study suggest that SOD activities of the visceral mass, CAT activitities of the mantle and the visceral mass, and GSH-Px activity of the muscle tissue could be used as sensitive indicators of anthracene stress in R. philippinarum.展开更多
