First record of Colotrechnus Thomson(Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea: Pteromalidae) from China, with description of one newly-recorded species and a key to known species

The genus Colotrechnus in the Colotrechninae （Hymenoptera： Pteromalidae） with the new recorded species Colotrechnus viridis （Masi） is reported from China for the first time. It is also a new record for the subfamily Colotrechninae. Morphological descriptions, distribution and morphological figures are provided. The world species are differentiated in a key, the first provided for this genus. Type specimens are deposited in the Zoological Museum, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Newly Recorded Subtribe,Genera and Species of Pemphredoninae(Hymenoptera:Crabronidae) from China

one subtribe（Ammoplanina Evans）,two genera（Ammoplanops Gussakovskij and Ammoplanus Giraud）,and five species（Ammoplanops carinatus Gussakovskij,Ammoplanus（Ammoplanus） dusmeti Giner Marí,Ammoplanus（Ammoplanus） kondarensis Marshakov,Ammoplanus（Ammoplanus） marathroicus（De Stefani Perez）,and Ammoplanus（Ammoplanus） nasutus Tsuneki） are reported from China for the first time.In addition,keys to genera of subtribe Ammoplanina and the Chinese species of the subgenus Ammoplanus（Ammoplanus） are provided.

The genus Carinostigmus Tsuneki(Hymenoptera:Crabronidae) with two newly recorded species from China

The genus Carinostigmus Tsuneki （Crabronidae： Pemphredoninae： Pemphredonini） from China, including 9 species, is reviewed and a key to the Chinese species is provided. Two species are reported from China for the first time： Carinostigmus costatus Krombein, 1984 and Carinostigmus maior （Maidl, 1925）.

Coexistence of esophageal blue nevus, hair follicles and basaloid sqamous carcinoma:A case report

We present the case of a 57-year-old man who underwent esophagectomy for esophageal carcinoma found at barium meal and gastroscopic examination. He was diagnosed as esophageal basaloid squamous carcinoma （BSC） and gastric stromal tumor, which were associated with focal proliferation of melanocytes/ pigmentophages and hair follicles in esophageal mucosa. Melanocytic hyperplasia （melanocytosis） has previously been recognized as an occasional reactive lesion, which can accompany esophageal inflammation and invasive squamous carcinoma. The present case is unusual because of its hyperplasia of not only melanocytes but also hair follicles. To our knowledge, this is the first report of esophageal blue nevus and hair follicle coexisting with BSC.

FLASHLAMP- PUMPED PULSED DYE LASER IN TREATMENT OF PORT- WINE STAINS

To assess the effectiveness of the flashlamp- pumped pulsed dye laser (Photogeneca V, Synosure Corp, Boston, United States) in the treatment of port- wine stains. Methods. One hundred and ninety- four consecutive patients with port- wine stains were treated with a flashlamp- pumped pulsed dye laser in Peking Union Medical College Hospital from January 1998 to August 1999. Results. Of 194 patients who completed treatment, 56.2％ had more than 60％ fading of the lesion and only 6.7％ had less than 20％ fading. An average of 3.6 treatments were needed to achieve more than 60％ fading. The response was better in children than in adults, although the difference was not significant. Pigmentary change (usually transient) occurred in 3.1％ of patients. Conclusions. This study confirms the efficacy of the flashlamp- pumped pulsed dye laser in the treatment of port- wine stains in children and adults.

TAXONOMIC REVIEW ON THE GENUS AICEONA (APHIDIDAE: AICEONINAE) IN CHINA, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF ONE NEW SPECIES

The aphid genus Aiceona in China is studied. Four Chinese species of this genus were recognized. A new species, Aiceona longifestuca , sp. onv. and hitherto unknown morphs of Aiceona osugii are described and Aiceona japonica is firstly recorded in China. Two keys to the Chinese species of this genus, including geographical distribution, host plants and illustrations of morphological figures of new species are provided. All specimens including types are deposited in Zoological Museum, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, P. R. China.
