保护大自然的异曲同工之作——罗曼·加里《天根》和胡发云《老海失踪》比较

罗曼·加里是法国作家,胡发云是中国作家,前者的长篇小说《天根》长达37万多字,后者的《老海失踪》是一部不足10万字的袖珍长篇小说,表面看来可比性不大。但实际上,两部小说都以自然生态环境的保护为题材,都向人类发出了一个非常严重而又非常迫切的警告与呼吁:自然生态环境是人类赖以生存的生命之根,急需人类的善待与保护,都塑造了保护自然生态环境的坚强卫士,具有很多相同性。

老海的故事

在做摩的手之前．老海是一家工厂的工人。由于厂里揽不到活干而常常放假．三十多岁的他便干脆辞职了。揣着一沓失业补助金．老海知道自己已没有退路．除了自己谁也帮不了他。由于没什么大本事．老海在人才市场闯荡了几个月都被用人单位拒之门外。眼看坐吃山空的他在朋友的指点下购置了一辆“麦科特125”，加入了摩的手的行列。

A phylogeny of the Tylototriton asperrimus group (Caudata: Salamandridae) based on a mitochondrial study: suggestions for a taxonomic revision

A phylogenetic hypothesis for the Asian newts of the Tylototriton asperrimus group was generated using data from two mitochondrial fragments including COI and the ND1-ND2 regions. Four distinct clades （A, B, C, D） were resolved with high nodal support within this monophyletic group. Clade A included T. asperrimus, T. hainanensis, T. notialis, ＂T. vietnamensis＂, and two unnamed salamander populations from Vietnam. Clade A, constituted the sister group of clades B ＋ C. Newly identified clade C likely represents a new cryptic species. Clade C was the sister group of T. wenxianensis. The true 7： vietnamensis exclusively constituted clade D. Our results bring into question some previous taxonomic decisions, and a revision is required. This study illustrates the necessity to include samples from type localities in taxonomic studies, and highlights the importance of fine-grained geographical sampling.

Changes of Monoanine Levels in Different Brain Regionsof Rat with Ventral GIobus Pailidus Injured by KainicAcid Injection

Ventral globus pallidus-injured rats by kainic acid(10 mg) were used to derter-mine the monoamine levels in four different brain regions.In this model,a great decrease of NE con-centration was observed in both hippocampus and frontal cortex compared with nonnal contro.This result hints that a damage of noradrenergic neurons in this model has occurred. DA concentrations in the four brain zones after kainic acid injection were all reduced, but only in the frontal cortex and striatum the pronounced reductions were discovered while DA turnover rates in frontal cortex, stria-tum and meddullapons were significantly reduced. These results revealed a DA metabolic disorder occurring in these regions.However,5-HT concentrations as well as DBH activity, expressed by ratio of NE/DA,showed no marked difference in this model. In our study it is found that the changes of monoamine levels in this model basically reflect those discovered in AD patients.

Serum level of MMP-2,MMP-9 and Ox-LDL in Alzheimer's disease with hyperlipoidemia

Objective：To investigate serum levels of MMP-2,MMP-9, oxidized low-density lipoprotein （ox-LDL） in Alzheimer＇s disease （AD） patients and study the possible pathway and mechanism of AD with abnormal lipid metabolism. Methods： Subjects in this study were divided into 4 groups ： normal lipid group without AD （N）, hyperlipoidemia group without AD （H）, normal group with AD （A）, hyper- lipoidemia group with AD （AH）. There were 15 individuals in each group. MMP-2, MMP-9, ox-LDL was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay （EL1SA）. Serum lipids levels were measured by biochemical methods. Results： The serum levels of MMP-2, MMP-9, ox-LDL were significantly higher in H, A and AH groups than those in N group. Those of ox-LDL in H, AH groups was higher than that of in A group. The serum level of MMP-2, MMP-9 in AH groups were higher than that of in H group. The score of mini-mental state examination （MMSE） in A and AD groups was negatively correlated with the serum level of ox-LDL. Relationship between the score of MMSE and the serum level of ox-LDL in AD groups and non-AD groups had statistical significance. Conclusion： MMP-2, MMP-9, ox-LDL and abnor- mal lipid metabolism may participate in pathogenesis of AD, in which abnormal lipid metabolism induces expressions of MMP-2,MMP-9 and ox-LDL. Oxidative stress and blood-brain barrier disruption might ac- celerate the process of AD.
