The I-V curves of the power SITH exhibit reverse snapback phenomena, and even turn to the conducting-state,when the anode voltage in the forward blocking-state is increased to a critical value. The RSP I-V characteristics of the power SITH are analyzed in terms of operating mechanism, double carrier injection effect, space charge effect, electron-hole plasma in the channel, and the variation in carrier lifetime. The reverse snapback mechanism is theoretically pro- posed and the mathematical expressions to calculate the voltage and current values at the snapback point are presented. Proteasome is consist of multiple protein subunits and plays important roles in degradation of short-lived cellular proteins. Recent studies reveal that proteasomal degradation system is also involved in signal transduction and regulation of various cellular functions. Dysfunction or dysregulation of proteasomal function may thus be an important pathogenic mechanism in certain neurological disorders. In this study,the reversal of monthly East Asian winter air temperature(EAWT) in 2020/21 and its predictability were investigated.The reversal of monthly EAWT in 2020/21 was characterized by colder temperatures in early winter(December 2020 to mid-January 2021) and warmer temperatures in late winter(mid-January to February 2021).Results show that the reversal in the intensity of the Siberian high(SH) also occurred between early and late winter in 2020/21.In early winter,as the Barents-Laptev sea ice in the previous September(i.e., in2020) reached a minimum for the period 1981-2020,the SH was strengthaned via a reduction of the meridional gradient between the Arctic and East Asia.In late winter,as a sudden stratospheric warming occurred on 5 January 2021,the stratospheric polar vortex weakened,with the weakest center shifting to North America in January.Subsequently,the negative Arctic Oscillation-like structure shifted towards North America in the middle and lower troposphere,which weakened the SH in late winter.Furthermore,the predictability of the reversal in EAWT in 2020/21 was validated based on monthly and daily predictions from NCEP-CFSv2(National Centers for Environment Prediction-Climate Forecast System,version 2).The results showed that the model was unable to reproduce the monthly reversal of EAWT.However,it was able to forecast the reversal date(18 January 2021)of EAWT at lead times of 1-20 days on the daily scale. 展开更多

Based on finite volume method, the pressure drop and heat transfer characteristics of one smooth tube and ten different axisymmetric corrugated tubes, including two with uniform corrugation and eight with non-uniform corrugation, have been studied. A physical model of the corrugated tube was built, then the numerical simulation of the model was carried out and the numerical simulation results were compared with the empirical formula.The results show that: the friction factor decreases with the increase of Reynolds number ranging from 6000 to 57000, the value of which in the corrugated tubes with non-uniform corrugation(tube 03–10) are smaller than those with uniform corrugation(tube 01–02). The geometry parameters of tube(01) have advantages on the heat transfer enhancement in low Reynolds number flow region(from 6000 to 13000) and tube(07–08)have advantages on the heat transfer enhancement in high Reynolds number flow region(from 13000 to 57000). The vortex, existed in each area between two adjacent corrugations called second flow region, is the root of the enhancement on heat transfer in the corrugated tubes. The effectiveness factor decreases with the increasing of Reynolds number and the performances of the corrugated tubes with pitch of 12.5 mm have advantages than these of 10 mm under the same corrugation geometric parameter. 展开更多

Based on an empirical study of macroeconomic data for 284 prefecture-level cities, this paper argues that the dual economy transition in China involves the coexistence of urbanization, industrialization and open economy. However, China has not yet arrived at the Lewisian Turning Point, because wage gaps between different industries and regions still exist and surplus labor is still being attracted to the labor-intensive manufacturing and tertiary industries in the eastern provinces. External economic shock and the mismatch between industrialization and urbanization are the primary causes of the coexistence of labor surplus and labor shortage. 展开更多
