目的:观察酸枣仁-五味子药对醇水双提物的镇静催眠作用,探讨其治疗失眠的可能机制。方法:各组小鼠采用腹腔注射阈剂量戊巴比妥钠来研究酸枣仁-五味子"药对"醇水双提物对小鼠睡眠时间的影响,各组小鼠分别灌胃给药,每天1次,连... 目的:观察酸枣仁-五味子药对醇水双提物的镇静催眠作用,探讨其治疗失眠的可能机制。方法:各组小鼠采用腹腔注射阈剂量戊巴比妥钠来研究酸枣仁-五味子"药对"醇水双提物对小鼠睡眠时间的影响,各组小鼠分别灌胃给药,每天1次,连续14天。各组大鼠采用对氯苯丙氨酸(PCPA)腹腔注射的方法诱导失眠大鼠模型,每天1次,连续注射2天,于造模第3天起,给药组分别灌胃相应的受试药物,正常组和模型组灌胃等量的生理盐水,疗程7天,观察大鼠一般形态学及体重变化;HE染色观察下丘脑组织病理学改变;酶联免疫吸附法(ELISA)法测定下丘脑组织中5-羟色胺(5-HT)、多巴胺(DA)、去甲肾上腺素(NE)、白细胞介素-1β(IL-1β)的含量;RT-PCR测定5-HT1A受体mRNA的表达。结果:与正常组小鼠相比,醇水双提物中、高剂量组(8、16g/kg)均能显著延长睡眠时间;与模型组相比,酸枣仁-五味子药对醇水双提物组(5.5、11g/kg)不仅可显著降低大鼠下丘脑内DA、NE含量,还可使5-HT、IL-lβ含量明显增高,5-HT1A受体mRNA表达上升。结论:酸枣仁-五味子药对醇水双提物具有一定镇静催眠作用,其机制可能与调节单胺类神经递质有关。 展开更多

Kinetic Modelling of Liquid-Phase Adsorption of Sulfate onto Raw Date Palm Seeds

Adsorption kinetics in multi-component systems has been a subject of intensive research because it is of both theoretical and practical importance. In this paper, raw date palm seeds (RDPS) were investigated to assess the possible use of this raw material as an effective adsorbent for the removal of sulfate from aqueous solution. The influence of various parameters such as sulfate initial concentration, pH, adsorbent dose and stirring time has been studied for the adsorption of sulfate in batch mode. Effects of foreign anions on the adsorption of sulfate onto RDPS have been also investigated. The pseudo-second-order, Elovich and intraparticle diffusion kinetic models have been developed to predict the rate constants of adsorption and equilibrium capacities. The maximum adsorption capacity of sulfate (qe ≈3.2 mg/g) onto RDPS was reached for the initial sulfate concentration = 100 mg/L, pH - 3.5, adsorbent dose = 10 g/L and for a stirring intensity = 200 rpm at 25 ± 2 ℃. The results showed that the adsorption of sulfate onto this raw materials followed pseudo-second-order rate kinetic predicting a chemisorption process. 展开更多

The holistic characterization and quality control of all the medicinal herbs of proprietary Chinese medicines(PCMs)are of great significance to ensure their safety,efficacy,and consistency.Thin-layer chromatography(TLC),a simple and classic approach for qualitatively characterizing and examining quality markers of natural products,has been widely used in the characterization and quality control of traditional Chinese medicines.Zaoren Anshen(ZRAS)capsule,prepared from three medicinal herbs of fried Ziziphi Spinosae Semen,Salvia Miltiorrhiza Radix et Rhizoma,and vinegar-processed Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus,is a famous PCM in China for the treatment of insomnia,amnesia,and dizziness in clinical practice.However,no effective method is available so far for simultaneous identification and examination of all the three medicinal herbs of ZRAS capsule.In the present study,we developed a TLC method via twice-development and visualization by UV light or chromogenic agent,which could be used for simultaneous qualitative identification of all the three medicinal herbs of ZRAS capsule in one plate.Moreover,the sample preparation method was optimized.The developed TLC method was rapid,simple,low-cost,and effective,and thus it could be used for quality control of ZRAS capsule. 展开更多
