The 3rd Generation Partnership Project(3GPP)defined a new architecture,called Home eNode B(HeNB).The 3GPP has also presented a protocol for communications between HeNB and core networks for mutual authentication.To re...The 3rd Generation Partnership Project(3GPP)defined a new architecture,called Home eNode B(HeNB).The 3GPP has also presented a protocol for communications between HeNB and core networks for mutual authentication.To reduce the authentication costs associated with communication,computation and energy,this paper proposes a simple and low-cost re-authentication protocol that does not compromise the provided security services.The proposed protocol uses as the re-authentication parameter a Master Session Key(MSK)that has already been computed in the initial authentication,and does not require the full initial authentication to be repeated.Moreover,the proposed protocol does not modify the 3GPP infrastructure,and is easily applied to the HeNB system.Finally,the security of the proposed protocol is verified by Automated Validation of Internet Security Protocols and Applications(AVISPA)and Burrows-Abadi-Needham(BAN)Logic;detailed evaluations of performance are also given.The analysis results illustrate that the proposed protocol can achieve at least 50%cost reduction in communication and 58%cost reduction in energy.The computational cost is also reduced by half compared with the initial authentication.展开更多

This is the result of a new, vibrant and growing environmental constit...Environmental writing has attained a new relevance in the 21st century. In the present scenario, environmental writing becomes a social discourse. This is the result of a new, vibrant and growing environmental constituency in societies such as Brazil, India, Thailand and other Third World Countries. The features of environmental writing include a visible concern for social justice, defence of livelihood and the determining part played by women. This new discourse has emerged with a new focus on redefinition of terms like human rights, common good, democracy and CPRs （common property resources）. Environmental Writing becomes a powerful discourse when it protests against the increasingly intrusive and interventionist developmental projects, implemented by the government, which in turn assert dominion over indigenous people of the land. There is also a strong emphasis on prudence among the poor as contrasted to the ecological profligacy of the rich. This paper is an attempt to examine the voices of dissent and the accountability of postmodern writers and environmental activists in India regarding environmental issues in India.展开更多

However, its state of near ＂saturation＂ has placed it in a dilemma with no clear way forward. Finding new academic growth points has become exceptionally important and urgent. The relationship between the ＂culture of calligraphy＂ and ＂modem Chinese writers＂ is virtually a research blank and has so Ihr attracted regrettably little attention. In fact, many modem Chinese writers have had close ties with calligraphy, making important contributions to its collection, creation and scholarly exploration. Conversely, the culture of calligraphy has exerted a profound influence on such things as the mode of existence, textual forms, emotional expression, ways of thought and aesthetic tastes of modem literature. Moreover, an examination of this relationship may stimulate us to reflect more deeply on literature, calligraphy, culture, education and related issues, which may help us gain a larger space for the development of Chinese culture and literature in the new century.展开更多
