Robust adaptive polarization analysis method for eliminating ground roll in 3C land seismics 被引量:3

To improve the data quality of converted waves, and better identify and suppress the strong ground-roll interference in three-component (3C) seismic recordings on land, we present an adaptive polarization filtering method, which can effectively separate the ground- roll interference by combining complex polarization and instantaneous polarization analysis. The ground roll noise is characterized by elliptical plane polarization, strong energy, low apparent velocity, and low frequency. After low-pass filtering of the 3C data input within a given time-window of the ground roll, the complex covariance matrix is decomposed using the sliding time window with overlapping data and length that depends on the dominant ground-roll frequency. The ground-roll model is established using the main eigenvectors, and the ground roll is detected and identified using the instantaneous polarization area attributes and average energy constraints of the ground-roll zone. Finally, the ground roll is subtracted. The threshold of the method is stable and easy to select, and offers good ground- roll detection. The method is a robust polarization filtering method. Model calculations and actual data indicate that the method can effectively identify and attenuate ground roll while preserving the effective signals. 展开更多

Photoelectrochemical(PEC)water splitting capable of reducing and oxidizing water into hydrogen and oxygen in a generation mode of spatial separation has gained extensive popularity.In order to effectively produce hydrogen at the photocathode of a PEC cell,the photoanode,where the oxygen evolution reaction occurs,should be systematically developed on priority.In particular,WO3 has been identified as one of the most promising photoanode materials owing to its narrow band gap and high valence band position.Its practical implementation,however,is still limited by excessive electron–hole recombination and poor water oxidation kinetics.This review presents the various strategies that have been studied for enhancing the PEC water oxidation performance of WO3,such as controlling the morphology,introducing defects,constructing a heterojunction,loading a cocatalyst,and exploiting the plasmonic effect.In addition,the possible future research directions are presented. 展开更多

Since China opening to outside world,the economy in the Pearl(Zhujiang)River Delta(PRD)has been dou-ble digit growth.It has been known as one of mature fast growth areas in the world and become the model and hope of Chi-nese reformand opening to outside wo rld.The regional development in PRD is the outcome of polarization effects .The polar-ization effects actually are extension of international regional divis ion and a combination of Hongkong’s i nfluence and re-form and open-door policies on the ma inland.Since the 1990s,driven by knowledge-based economy,the PRD has f urther adjusted the industrial structure a nd achieved good progress in upgradi ng industrial structure.Its high te chnology industry has developed quickly and the econom ic internationalization has deepen ed,meanwhile,the region is going th rough transforma-tion and some new trends have begun to appear,which include:university t owns springing up,industrial globalization and the construction of Hi-tech develop ment zones.The paper suggests that w ith the economic growth changing fro m relying on the low level production elements to relying on high level production ele ments,the regional policies in Guan gdong Province should develop correspondingly:1)make a plan to prohibite the blind con struction in innovative spatial con struc-tions;2)make measures to attract the overseas talents to establish a pool of talen t;3)work out the favorable policies for absorbing larger capital;4)formulate the policy of attracting a cluster of industries to speed up the upgrade of industrial development. 展开更多

The spindle behavior and MPF activity changes in the progression of oocyte maturation were investigated and compared with cytological observation and kinase assay between gynogenetic silver crucian carp and amphimictic colored crucian carp. MPF activity was measured by using histone H1 as phosphorylation substrate. There were two similar oscillatory MPF kinase activity changes during oocyte maturation in two kinds of fishes with different reproductive modes, but there existed some subtle difference between them. The subtle difference was that the first peak of MPF kinase activity was kept to a longerlasting time in the gynogenetic silver crucian carp than in the amphimictic colored crucian carp. It was suggested that the difference may be related to the spindle behavior changes, such as tripolar spindle formation and spindle rearrangement in the gynogenetic crucian carp. 展开更多

Electron transport through a triple-terminal double-quantum-dot structure is theoretically studied. By adjusting the chemical potential in leads, two channels in this system are created, and in the presence of magnetic flux the conductances for the two channels present remarkable difference from each other. When the quantum dots are made of ferromagnetic materials, the levels of quantum dots are spin dependent, then spin polarization comes about in the two channels. Furthermore, in some regions spin polarization in the different channels are opposite. We consider that this model can be a device prototype for spin filtering and spin separation. 展开更多
