The deformation and failure of sandwich structure with different thicknesses of panel and foam core were investigated. The results indicate that the maximum bending load increases with the thickness of both steel panel and foam core. The failure of sandwich can be ascribed to the crush and shear damage of foam core and the delamination of glued interface at a large bending load, The crack on the foam wall developed in the melting foam procedure is the major factor for the failure of foam core. The sandwich structure with thick foam core and thin steel panel has the optimal specific bending strength. The maximum bending load of that with 8 mm panel and 50 mm foam core is 66.06 kN.展开更多

The set of singular points consists of some singular lines and some isolated singular points. It is proved that near a singular line or a singular point, each weak solution can be decomposed into two parts, a singular part and a regular part. The singular parts are some finite sum of particular solutions to some simpler equations, and the regular parts are bounded in some norms, which are slightly weaker than that in the Sobolev space H^2.展开更多

Methods: Eight-hole LP and LC-DCP were applied to fix fresh goat tibiae in a reproducible manner. The average pressure, force and interface contact area were calculated using Fuji prescale pressure sensitive film interposed among the plate and the bone and image analysis system, Eighthole LP and LC-DCP were applied to each tibia in a goat tibia fracture model. The fracture healing was evaluated by X-ray photography at postoperative 8 weeks. The goats were sacrificed at postoperative 12 weeks. Three-point bending test was conducted in the tibiae. Results: The interface contact of LP system was smaller than that ofLC-DCP (P〈0.05), while interface contact force of LP system was higher than that of LC-DCP (P〈0.05). Radiographs revealed that the fracture line disappeared in the LP group, while the fracture line was visible in DCP group at postoperative 8 weeks. At postoperative 12 weeks, the bending strength and bending load of fractured tibia were higher in LP group than in DCP group, respectively.展开更多
