After analyzing several instances of typical Internet multimedia traffic captured in a campus network, this paper defines a new set of QoS classes according to the difference in downstream/upstream rates and proposes a modified K-SVD method that can automatically search for underlying structural patterns in the QoS characteristic space. We define bagQoS-words as the set of specific QoS local patterns, which can be expressed by core QoS characteristics. After the dictionary is constructed with an excess quantity of bag-QoSwords, Locality Constrained Feature Coding(LCFC) features of QoS classes are extracted. By associating a set of characteristics with a percentage of error, an objective function is formulated. In accordance with the modified K-SVD, Internet multimedia traffic can be classified into a corresponding QoS class with a linear Support Vector Machines(SVM) clas-sifier. Our experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed classification method.展开更多

By summarizing and analyzing the relevant theory, the study establishes a hypothesis, designs empirical models, and verifies the hypothesis using the data of USA listed companies. Taking the performanc...Based on five scheduling types and their QoS requirements defined in IEEE 802.16e specification, this paper proposes a new scheduring algorithm for non-real-time or real-time multimedia services. Taking the performances of efficiency, fairness and complexity into consideration, the proposed algorithm enhances the efficiency of air interface resource at the expense of the short-time unfairness, but ensures the long-time fairness. Moreover, the proposed algorithm introduces an efficient QoS assurance mechanism, which implements the functions of congestion control, queuing management and traffic management. The simulation results based on a simplified traffic model show that the proposed algorithm guarantees better performances of efficiency and fairness than conventional algorithms, without increasing the algorithm complexity. Especially on the occasion of heavy-traffic requirement, the performance of efficiency and fairness can be improved by 50% at most.展开更多

However, China's sustainable agricultural development faces severe tests such as agri-tech "short slabs" and poor collaborative operation. The 12'h Five- year Plan period will bring both strategic opportunities and challenges. Brisker market demands and more agricultural inputs, a higher technical level and better policy regimes will drive development. On the other hand, agriculture will be confronted with more resource and environment constraints, fewer traditional comparative advantages and hidden hazards, etc. Over the next five years, China should stay its course to agricultural modernization based on its national conditions and the sustainable development concept and establish a "broad interpretation of grain security" to improve the productivity, risk- resistance capabilities and market competitiveness of its agricultural industry.展开更多

It is a noteworthy discussion to effectively distribute the limited account resources among concurrent services. An account-sharing algorithm is proposed for multi-services,which introduces resource reclamation and redistribution processes based on the resource reservation of standard specifications and dynamically adjusts them according to the changes of Quality of Service (QoS). Three performance indexes are investigated in the simulation experiments, which are average number of accommodated sessions, average number of completed ses- sions, and average number of iterations per accommodated session. The results show that in the normal QoS level, the three indexes of the proposed algorithm averagely increase by 18.7%, 5.4%, and 3.1% compared with the Prepaid Credit Distribution (PCD) algorithm, and by 2.1%, 1.0%, and 1.8% compared with the Prepaid Credit Reclaim (PCR) algorithm. In the poor QoS level, the performance advantages are greater, which averagely increase by 29.1%, 7.1%, and 2.8% compared with PCD, and by 9.4%, 4.1%, and 3.6% compared with PCR.展开更多

This study aims to analyze the formation mechanism, action mechanism, and evolution mechanism about the business model from the perspective of structure, and designs the enterprise business model architecture and forms a system, besides, explores approaches and strategies about enterprise carrying out business model innovation, and does beneficial bedding in order to use and improve the theoretical system in the process of the enterprise management practice. The significance of this study is to provide analytical methods and tools for the business model questions in the enterprise management practice. This paper firstly defined the connotation of enterprise business model and summarized the seven characteristics of the corporate business model. On the basis of outlining the enterprise business model design theory, the structural design of the corporate business model is mainly discussed. This paper designed the structure of the business model on modular perspective, proposed four constituent units and nine elements of enterprise business model structure system. Through the design of the enterprise business model structure and analysis of the elements that constitute structure, provide the basis for the transformation of innovative enterprise business model, or both enterprise business models, avoid the lack of elements of the enterprise business model structure and lead to business failure. Service-oriented business process generation is a key activity in the ServiceOriented Architecture(SOA)business lifecycle,and most of the other activities such as application execution depend on the business process b...Service-oriented business process generation is a key activity in the ServiceOriented Architecture(SOA)business lifecycle,and most of the other activities such as application execution depend on the business process being developed.After the business requirements are acquired,a developer has to use specific programming technologies to orchestrate web services to generate a deployable business process.It is time-consuming to specify all the business processes from lowlevel web services,especially for an enterprise that focuses on a series of similar businesses.This paper proposes a rapid service-oriented business process generation method with domain-specific assets specified in ontology systems.Assets with different levels of granularity are reused to refine the high level business process framework for executable business processes using the Business Process Executional Language(BPEL).The new methodology significantly simplifies service-oriented business process generation by reusing assets to construct business processes.A business process generation tool is also implemented to support the efficient visual design of SOA processes with the proposed method.This paper verifies the proposed method using a shipment tracking case.The studies show that the number of reusable assets increases significantly as these projects progress,and the business process generation speed also increases at the same time.展开更多

The advantage of the open business model is in the value creation by a large community of developers, whereas the proprietary business model means a simpler form of value capture. However, open and closed business models can not exist in pure form: the proprietary model does not give enough space for innovation, while the open model gives insufficient opportunities for generating profit. An investigation of the problem of optimal business model choice at the monopolistic market indicates that the fully closed business model is less efficient than the model with the closed core and open extensions; it is profitable for any firm to open all of those ideas and technologies that can not be used without the base module; the completely open business model is optimal if and only if a substantial part of the consumer value is determined by additional services or innovative activity of the users.展开更多
