This article provides a brief overview of the structure of these organizations, as well as an analysis of their principle accomplishments. Of great significance in this analysis is the fact that Chinese NGOs have effectively dealt with many sensitive health education areas that government authorities have felt reluctant to handle directly. As such, they have provided an indispensable component in the HIV/AIDS prevention and control calculus on the mainland.展开更多

In the eyes of the Chinese people, the Belt and Road Initiative is an international strategy rather than a regional strategy, the goals of which are to coordinate an all-around opening of China to the world and promote further integration of the country into the global economy. So the strategy is talked in almost every field in China. However, Outside of China, the discussion about the Belt and Road initiative does not always provide encouragement and support and typically there are more disputes than agreements. Implementation of Belt and Road is going to reconstruct regional interests and balance powers throughout the world. There are many difficulties in achieving the goal, so China has to realize the true situation in neighboring countries and provide more chances for Non-Governmental Organizations as well as illustrating to the world how China will do in the future.展开更多

The climax of the crisis theory appeared in the West in the late 20th century, Japan Masao Takizawa, a crisis management expert, believe that the definition of a crisis is " the possibility of accidents," and the management of crisis is the management of preventing loss, and therefore it is important to note how to save costs, and to achieve maximum effect. Crisis is a situation state, the fundamental objective of its decision-making theme is threatened, and there is very limited time available between decisions changing, which occurs as a surprise to the main body. The diagnosis of and prescriptions for dealing with China's environmental problems are not dissimilar to what have been suggested for industrialized democracies, except one factor: the regime type. This article seeks to address the question of whether or not democracy can save China's environment. It places China's environmental challenges in the context of democracy-environment debate and breaks the independent variable of regime type into four subcategories: 1. environmental law and enforcement; 2. corruption; 3. transparent information; and 4. environmental activism by non-governmental organizations. After having compared China's environmental performance with that of other economies in terms of carbon dioxide ( CO2 ) emission, air pollution by power plants, consumer behavior and ecological footprint, this research has concluded that democracy is neither a necessary condition for nor a significant factor in saving China's environment.展开更多

Atier 1949, the mass line mechanism fell into disuse; but in today's China, there seems to be a trend toward more openness. Deng-era reforms have decentralized the central government, weakened adherence to Party ideology, and reduced the state's control. In order to deal with diversified social interests, the CPC is renewing and extending the practice of the mass line through state-liceused intermediate organizations. By doing so, the central government is not only creating a channel for interest articulation but also deepening state control and regulation of civil society to ensure that power remains largely centralized.展开更多
