浅议马克思主义文艺理论的中国化

马克思主义文艺理论的中国化,是由马克思主义文艺理论自身所决定的。因为马克思主义文艺理论是发展的理论。而它的中国化,是它"发展"的重要途径。它的中国化,不是它的中国政治化,而是它的中国文化化;它的中国化,也不是同中国传统文艺理论以及中国大众文艺(通俗文艺)理论的"融合",而是同它们的"结合"。在中国化过程中,它要保持自己的基本原则即内核,坚持自己理论的主体性。这样的理论,才会是"发展着"的马克思主义文艺理论。它的中国化,才会是受我国广大人民群众欢迎的真正的中国化。

密码化的中华文化(一)

序习作《密码化的中国文化》本已在2001年的《信息安全与保密通信》杂志第3、4、5期上连载过,承蒙《计算机安全》采编抬举,一再认定拙文还可“挖潜”,要求笔者深掘祖国文化宝藏,续写前文。然恨江郎才尽,虽是面对浩瀚的中华文化知识海洋,但对秦碑汉赋南北骈、唐诗宋词元曲明清小说等文学作品懵懂者多、涉及极少,更别说文化当中的其他领域了。正是囿于学浅才疏、少见寡闻,才难于以密码为题取舍、编序。只是两年多来经不住他们的再三督促,才勉为其难,赶鸭子上架,改成本篇。目的无非是想以笔者抛出之砖,引出造诣深厚的文人和密码专家之玉,以激发国人更加热爱民族文化之忱,从而光大我辉煌的中华文化。舛错讹误、鲁鱼亥豕之处,诚望指正。

重新理解中国文化——否定主义对等互动文化哲学实践

中国学者依附儒道伦理文化去看世界,自然会产生主导性、功利性、群体性的儒道释文化是中国文化的窄化认知,并以此产生"中体西用""全盘西化""中西融汇"等非哲学创造性命题。中国文化的窄化认知忽略了盘古三皇创造神所建立的非主导性、超功利性、个体性的信仰传统,一直在民间个体和文学经典中发挥着与儒道历史积淀文化对等互动的作用,并构成中国今天自信自豪文化的立足点。以尊重生命力创造力还是轻视生命力创造力为问题的核心,中国文化完整丰富的认知不仅可以发现中国自己的与西方现代性文化可以打通的优秀文化资源,也可以从中提炼出"对等互动"的中国文化哲学命题与西方"二元对立"不对等文化思维进行交流对话。

The change of Chinese students＇ cultural patterns and its roots in the process of globalization

One of the most important characteristics of culture is that it is subject to change. The theory of cultural patterns in intercultural communication is used to study the change of Chinese students＇ living pattern, communication pattern and thinking pattern because of globalization. The factors and reasons of both change and the unchanged are analyzed and summarized.

A Brief Analysis of Culture Aphasia in Higher English Teaching in China

Culture is a result of the accumulation of human society; language is the important carrier of culture. Infiltration of Western culture and the widely use of English seriously hinder the globalization of the Chinese culture and it results in ＂cultural aphasia＂ phenomenon. After having studied foreign language for several years, many foreign language learners still cannot express Chinese traditional culture correctly in international communication. This is mainly due to the neglect of Chinese culture in the process of foreign language teaching. With the development of globalization, the communication between different cultures has become more and more frequent It is necessary to pay more attention to the output of native language culture as well as the input of target language culture. As the main places of cultivating high-level talents in China, colleges and universities are focusing on how to change this phenomenon in the foreign language teaching reform. This paper begins with the introduction of ＂cultural aphasia＂ phenomenon in China, then analyzes the reasons, finally proposes suggestions and teaching strategies to overcome the culture aphasia in cross-cultural communication.

APPLICATION OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN A CHINESE BASED SOCIETY——HONG KONG

Hong Kong′s current quality management philosophy can best be described as imported and experimental. This is because Hong Kong is at the interface of Eastern and Western culture, and modern quality management philosophies are at first imported from the West and implanted into the Hong Kong Subsidiaries of American and European controlled companies. Local experience in quality management is usually obtained via trial and error, and through progressive modifications. The influence of Chinese culture on quality management in Hong Kong has formed the main subject of this study. This study is to initiate the interest to develop modern quality management concepts based on Chinese culture. Some initial results suggest that Hong Kong managers have great interest in applying Chinese working principle to quality management.

Protection and Inheritance of Native Culture in the Landscape Design of Characteristic Towns

Chinese culture has a long history. Native culture, as an important part of China's traditional culture heritage, is rich in variety. In characteristic towns, native culture has strong local characteristics, and its protection and heritage has great value. This paper aimed to inherit traditional culture, protect the local characteristics of the towns, endow the town landscape with a unique cultural value, enhance people's cultural cohesion and identity of local culture and create characteristic towns with strong cultural characteristics.

Culture Differences Reflected in the Novel The Kitchen God＇s Wife by Amy Tan

The paper is to study the culture differences in the novel The Kitchen God＇s Wife by Amy Tan. Amy Tan was an oversea Chinese. Her mother was born and grew in old China. With the influences of her mother, Tan＇s novel inevitably reflects the Chinese culture. For herself, she was born and grew up in the States; she has been influenced by the American culture. So in her novel both the Chinese culture and American culture can be found. In this paper, the Chinese culture will mainly be talked about and analyzed, with some slight of American culture mentioned. The paper will start with the definition of culture, and the implication and features of Chinese and American culture will be explained. In the body of the paper, the typical symbols and manifestation of Chinese culture will be shown. And the conclusion is the main character＇s acceptance of the two cultures in the end.

The New Media Engine for Promoting Chinese Cultural Diffusion： A Case Study of＂Confucius Institute Online＂

As a developing Non-profit Organization （NPO） system for the learning and diffusion of Chinese language and culture around the globe, the Confucius Institute network is becoming more and more important for China＇s presence and influence in a diversified arena of world cultures. While this network is being enlarged and improved with the Chinese govemment＇s persistent backing, it is, however, recognized that the influence and efficiency of the institutes are still limited. It might not be essential whether people come primarily as serious language learners, but necessarily, the platform has to be attractive enough for a considerable proportion of users to stick on, making the Confucius Institute System a sustainable cultural service provider. Within the background of information society, the Intemet, mobile service, digital broadcasting, and other types of new media would act as an important effort to help Confucius Institutes to improve the capabilities of interacting with users, offering users with abundant media-rich content, and minimizing users＇ inconvenience by enhancing users＇ experience, lowering travel and time cost, and easily providing multi-lingual support. In this paper, we take the platform of Confucius Institute Online （http：//www.chinese.cn, the official Intemet portal of the Confucius Institute network） as a case of actuality to analyze how the Confucius Institute system could utilize the communication capability of new media to enrich, enlarge, and enhance the diffusion of Chinese culture and language. Advantages and deficiencies of the planning, design, and layout of the portal＇s functionality and views are presented, upon which a number of strategic suggestions are raised, for the sake of further improvement of Confucius Institute＇s efficiency in cultural diffusion and sustainable development.

On the Chinese Culture Transmission and Strategies

With the development of economy and international communication, Chinese culture is going out of the country and is known by the world. The paper analyzes the historical and present Chinese culture oversea transmission and the strategies of the transmissions. The paper has three parts： The first part is the history of Chinese culture transmission, the second part is the present Chinese transmission, and the third part is the strategies of Chinese culture transmission. And in the conclusion, it is made clear that everyone going abroad or in front of the foreigners is transmitting Chinese culture in one way or another. This paper mainly discusses the origin of Chinese-English and tries to explore the essential features of it through the theories of language migration and analysis of many examples. This paper points out, based on Standard English, Chinese-English is an English variety mainly used by the Chinese people. It is unavoidable, useful, and necessary to spread Chinese culture. Chinese-English and Chinglish are inter-language variants because Chinese cultural influences are different. Chinese-English has its own complete system, regularity, and stability. This paper further clarifies the position of the Chinese-English and treats the Chinese-English phenomenon dialecticly and scientifically.

Learn Chinese and Western Culture From the ＂Kung Fu Panda＂

This paper introduces the film ＂Kung Fu Panda,＂ which contains the elements of Chinese culture and Western culture, respectively, from the philosophical thinking, animal image, folk life and expression of Chinglish and etiquette introduced Chinese elements, from individualism, fatalism and character introduced western culture reflected in the movie.The success of the film in the world shows that the new trend of the integration of Chinese and Western culture in the context of globalization. At the end of the paper, it gives the inspiration of the film ＂Kung Fu Panda＂ to the Chinese culture communication.

The Implementation and Evaluation of Training Course for Chinese as Second Language E-Teacher

In this study, we made references to past literatures and developed an e-learning training program for CSL （Chinese as a Second Language） teachers. The class was held from July to August, 2010, in Chinese Culture University （Taiwan）, and we designed a performance-evaluation questionnaire with the Delphi method. Three months after the training program was completed, the questionnaire was given to the 30 students of the class, and they were asked to answer questions regarding their use of e-learning in the actual practice. We also asked 5 teachers to conduct experimental e-learning for us to video-record and observe. This effort allows us to discuss the use of e-learning among CSL teachers in Taiwan, come up with a conclusion and suggestions, and use the findings as references for course-planning and policies or research regarding the digital learning of Chinese.

Influences of Chinese culture and mode of thinking on English writing

Thinking patterns and the language features differ from one cultural background to another. Differences between Chinese and English culture diversify the writing patterns of the two languages. The importance of cultivating students＇ cultural awareness is obvious in college English teaching process. This paper discusses the relationship between thought based on culture and English writing, and the characters of language transition by way of contrastive analysis. It also reveals the importance of improving English thinking ability and removing the native language interference in English writing. The main premise of the paper is that effective communication is more than a matter of language proficiency and that, cultural competence can also lead to empathy and respect toward different cultures.

Study on the Folk Costume Symbolization in Waterside Villages of Southern Yangtze in China

The folk costume in waterside villages of Southern Yangtze in China was notonly daily consumer goods, but also a symbol system of folk-custom culture. This symbol system was directly conveyed by a series medley shape signs, many-faceted color signs and decorated craft signs of pleated skirt. Its origination, accumulation, continual process and development were greatly associated with the life style and paddy culture of waterside villages, such as the folk religion, social life, artistic philosophy, regional culture, the landform of waterside villages and the humanity environment. So the folk costume was the significant sign of practical function and also the significative sign of folk traditional culture, both of which composed the costume cultural symbol system of waterside villages of Southern Yangtze called ＂ integration of aesthetic and practical function＂.
