In 1988 Wang Guoheng, a native Qiang peasant, set up with his own money the Tri-Dragon Village Cultural Centre, in order to preserve and save the ancient cultural remains of the Qiang ethnic group. He bought a camera to take photos to record local conditions and customs. To date he has taken 1, 500 photos some of them have been selected and shown at regional photo exhibitions where they won awards. over 5O newspapers, magazines and tourist groups have visited him in order to learn more and have a better understanding of the history, culture and customs of the Qiang ethnic group. As a result of his efforts, the Tri-Dragon Village is now regarded as a living document demonstrating the folk customs, culture and history of the Qiang ethnic group.展开更多
