OBJECTIVE:To investigate the safety profiles of Motherwort injection(MI).METHODS:A multi-center,prospective and drugderived hospital intensive monitoring method was conducted to assess the safety of MI in real world a...OBJECTIVE:To investigate the safety profiles of Motherwort injection(MI).METHODS:A multi-center,prospective and drugderived hospital intensive monitoring method was conducted to assess the safety of MI in real world applications.This study was based on a very large population after the injection was approved and marketed in China.All patients using the injection in participating hospitals were monitored to determine the incidence,pattern,severity and outcome of associated adverse events.RESULTS:The post-marketing surveillance was performed in 10 094 female patients from April to December,2015.The incidence of adverse drug reactions(ADRs) was 0.79‰(8/10 094).Among the 8 patients,the reported adverse events mainly included systemic abnormalities,such as fever,chills and eyelid edema;skin and appendages disorders,such as pruritus and rash;gastrointestinal disorders,such as nausea,abdominal distension and pain;heart rate and rhythm disorders,such as palpitation and increased heart rate.All of these ADRs were mild in severity.CONCLUSION:In this study the ADRs incidence rate of MI is very low,which supports that it is generally safe for use in obstetric and gynecological diseases.However,the total number of 8 ADRs recorded over a relatively short time span seems limited,and the low number of reports could not represent an absolute guarantee of safety.展开更多

In this paper, a novel scheme of Chinese-Braille translation is p...Automatic translation of Chinese text to Chinese Braille is important for blind people in China to acquire information using computers or smart phones. In this paper, a novel scheme of Chinese-Braille translation is proposed. Under the scheme, a Braille word segmentation model based on statistical machine learning is trained on a Braille corpus, and Braille word segmentation is carried out using the statistical model directly without the stage of Chinese word segmentation. This method avoids establishing rules concerning syntactic and semantic information and uses statistical model to learn the rules stealthily and automatically. To further improve the performance, an algorithm of fusing the results of Chinese word segmentation and Braille word segmentation is also proposed. Our results show that the proposed method achieves accuracy of 92.81% for Braille word segmentation and considerably outperforms current approaches using the segmentation-merging scheme.展开更多
Remote sensing based land cover mapping at large scale is time consuming when using either supervised or unsupervised clas- sification approaches. This article used a fast clustering method---Clustering by Eigen Space...Remote sensing based land cover mapping at large scale is time consuming when using either supervised or unsupervised clas- sification approaches. This article used a fast clustering method---Clustering by Eigen Space Transformation (CBEST) to pro- duce a land cover map for China. Firstly, 508 Landsat TM scenes were collected and processed. Then, TM images were clus- tered by combining CBEST and K-means in each pre-defined ecological zone (50 in total for China). Finally, the obtained clusters were visually interpreted as land cover types to complete a land cover map. Accuracy evaluation using 2159 test sam- pies indicates an overall accuracy of 71.7% and a Kappa coefficient of 0.64. Comparisons with two global land cover products (i.e., Finer Resolution Observation and Monitoring of Global Land Cover (FROM-GLC) and GlobCover 2009) also indicate that our land cover result using CBEST is superior in both land cover area estimation and visual effect for different land cover types.展开更多
