Translator is inevitably influenced by his/her own language and system of culture in the process of translation. In order to make readers understand what is translated, a translator needs to bring subjectivity into play to make translated text conform to custom of his/her own language and system of culture. The study of subjectivity is mainly concentrated on understanding of original text and recreating of art on the level of linguistics. Project teaching is a student-centered, inquiry-centered practice, with project activities centered learning model. Project teaching students focus on learning strategies to help students become independent learners, to improve students' motivation to help students learn practical ability, communication skills, collaboration skills, creative thinking skills and the ability to solve practical problems. Project-based learning in the late 1990s was introduced in China. Within ten years, research project studying abroad connotation, significance and theoretical foundation, extension are applied research to classroom practice. However, most of the research object of the project is teaching primary and secondary students, higher education, adult education and general higher education students in science and engineering students. Research related to the field of English teaching is not much; the theory is applied to the case of teaching practice rarely. Therefore, this article introduced the project teaching college English classroom, through the implementation of the teaching aims to stimulate the enthusiasm of the students, so that students learn more explicit goals, enhance self- confidence and motivation to learn, to develop their creativity, initiative and independent learning and the purpose of learning ability.展开更多
The peasants, the majority of China's population, have always been seen as a traditional and conservative force. Formed over centuries of daily rural production activities, peasant rationality had limited efficacy wi...The peasants, the majority of China's population, have always been seen as a traditional and conservative force. Formed over centuries of daily rural production activities, peasant rationality had limited efficacy within rural society and mainly functioned as a survival rationality. As rural society was transformed into industrial and commercial society, peasant rationality moved into the new society through inertia and expanded there. By combining with the advantages of the new society, it produced a kind of "superimposed advantage" that released enormous power unprecedented in both traditional rural society and modem industrial and commercial society. To comprehend the "China Miracle," we must first understand the Chinese peasant. Similarly, to understand the peasants, we must first apprehend peasant rationality. To illustrate how the expansion of peasant rationality helped to create the "China Miracle," it is imperative to discard the formula of tradition vs. modernity and to stress the character, attitudes and views of ordinary people in the process of social transformation.展开更多
