[Method] Two pretreatment methodsof microwave di- gestion and acid extraction were used to process the ash content, the total particu- late matter of mainstream smoke (TPM) and cigarette filter. Detection results of heavy metal elements were compared by the two methods. [Result] The microwave digestion method was better than acid solution extraction method on analysis of TPM, but presented disadvantages on analysis of ash and filter. Meanwhile, the migration amount and rate were studied and resultsshowed that most heavy metal elements were escaped along with sidestream smoke between 66.89% and 95.48%, and almost all Hg escaped through sidestream smoke. Other heavy metal elements, except Hg, were separately found in ash, TPM and filter. Cr, Ni, As and Se were mostly residual in ash, followed by TPM, and filter had the least, while Cd and Pb were just in the reverse order. Normally, 5% or less heavy metal elements were transferred to TPM, only a small part of which could reach 5%-10%. [Conclusion] Most of the heavy metal elements are taken by sidestream smoke, ash and filter, while the migration amounts to mainstream smoke are extremely low.展开更多

Chitosan of various deacetylation degrees and molecular weights were manually added to cigarette filters in different dosages. The mainstream smoke particulate matter was collected by a Cambridge filter pad, digested by a microwave digestor, and then analyzed for contents of heavy metal ions, including As(Ill/V), Pb(II), Cd(II), Cr(III/VI) and Ni(II), by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS). The results showed that chitosan had a removal effect on Pb(II), Cd(II), Cr(III/VI) and Ni(II). Of these, the percent re- moval of Ni(II) was elevated with an increasing dosage of chitosan. Chitosan of a high deace tylation degree exhibited good binding performance toward Cd(II), Cr(III/VI) and Ni(II), though with poor efficiency for Pb(II). Except As(III/V), all the tested metal ions showed similar tendencies in the growing contents with an increasing chitosan molecular weight. Nonetheless, the percent removal of Cr(III/VI) peaked with a chitosan molecular weight of 200 kDa, followed by a dramatic decrease with an increasing chitosan mo- lecular weight. Generally, chitosan had different removal effects on four out of five tested metal ions, and the percent removal of Cd(II), Pb(II), Cr(III/VI) and Ni(II) was approximately 55%, 45%, 50%, and 16%, respectively. In a word, chitosan used in cigarette filter can remove toxic heavy metal ions in the mainstream smoke, improve cigarette safety, and reduce the harm to smokers.展开更多
In order to directly construct the mapping between multiple state parameters and remaining useful life(RUL),and reduce the interference of random error on prediction accuracy,a RUL prediction model of aeroengine based...In order to directly construct the mapping between multiple state parameters and remaining useful life(RUL),and reduce the interference of random error on prediction accuracy,a RUL prediction model of aeroengine based on principal component analysis(PCA)and one-dimensional convolution neural network(1D-CNN)is proposed in this paper.Firstly,multiple state parameters corresponding to massive cycles of aeroengine are collected and brought into PCA for dimensionality reduction,and principal components are extracted for further time series prediction.Secondly,the 1D-CNN model is constructed to directly study the mapping between principal components and RUL.Multiple convolution and pooling operations are applied for deep feature extraction,and the end-to-end RUL prediction of aeroengine can be realized.Experimental results show that the most effective principal component from the multiple state parameters can be obtained by PCA,and the long time series of multiple state parameters can be directly mapped to RUL by 1D-CNN,so as to improve the efficiency and accuracy of RUL prediction.Compared with other traditional models,the proposed method also has lower prediction error and better robustness.展开更多

This is not a new idea, it has been for centuries, but the concept has changed, in general, nationalism is described more negative concepts as opposed to more positive ones. Nowadays nationalism is linked either directly or implicitly to racism. Nationalism plays a great role in world politics today. There is also another negative argument that can include the belief that one state is superior to all of the other states. This paper begins by defining the pros and cons of nation and nationalism. The topic of pros and cons of nationalism creates one of the most important issues in the world today, and the issue promises to continue to the next century. People should be acknowledged in order to develop and increase their awareness and understanding of nationalism. This study also examines the importance and unimportance of nationalism in a country. The paper uses quantitative method with survey questionnaire. The structured questionnaire has been used to collect data and asked teachers and students. The paper uses content analysis in this part within the framework of the qualitative method. The respondents have quite diverse backgrounds which is very important to have a wider perspective, The results of this study show that there have been diverse views regarding the term nationalism. The key quantity ill the TCL master equation is the so-called kernel or generator, which describes eflhcts of the bath degrees of freedom. Since the exact TCL generators are usually hard to calculate analytically, most applications of the TCL generalized master equation have relied on approximate generators using second and fourth order perturbative expansions. By using the hierarchical equation of motion (HEOM) and extended HEOM methods, we present a new approach to calculating the exact TCL generator and its high order perturbative expansions. The new approach is applied to the spin-boson model with diflhrent sets of parameters, to investigate the convergence of the high order expansiolls of the TCL generator. We also discuss circumstances where the exact TCL generator becomes singular for the spin-boson model, and a model of excitation energy transfer in the Fenna-Matthews-Olson complex.展开更多

Insights are drawn from the research data involving such aspects as learner autonomy, teaching style, curriculum design, rapport, modernized facilities, employment awareness, and so on, with an aim to suggest some strategies to overcome learning burnout and improve students' language competence. A hundred and twenty-one households in Yujiang county, Jiangxi province were investigated by adopting questionnaire method, and the evaluation system of index was established according to the integrative, hierarchical...A hundred and twenty-one households in Yujiang county, Jiangxi province were investigated by adopting questionnaire method, and the evaluation system of index was established according to the integrative, hierarchical, scientific, practical, comparative and dynamic principles. The investigation data were firstly standardized and then processed with SPSS software. The index weight was confirmed by principal component analysis. Finally, the evaluation scale of ecoagriculture was calculated. The results showed that the evaluation value ranged from 0.141 to 0.689 for 121 households. Agricultural status of 113 households got the primary phase of ecoagriculture which accounting for 93.38%; 7 households into the second phase, representing 5.79% and only 1 household into the third phase according to the evaluation value. However, the ecoagriculture was divided into 5 stages, according to the evaluation value. Therefore, the ecoagriculture has huge potential to develop in red soil area, China.展开更多
