The methodology for establishing the evaluation system for residential env...In this research, the residential environment index system and evaluation model were established by means of subjective and objective methods. The methodology for establishing the evaluation system for residential environment was first analyzed; then the subjective evaluation data-base was established by questionnaire survey; and at the same time, the objective evaluation data-base was constructed by Geographic Information System (GIS); and then the related equation system between subjective and objective system was developed by multiple regression analysis. This research could benefit evaluation of the residential environment quality for various purposes, and also provide important rudimentary data-base for the development and improvement of residential environment for officials. Furthermore, the index system and evaluation model established in this research could construct a strong relation between subjective evaluation and objective data; and thus could provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective methodology for the evaluation of residential environment.展开更多

Dissimilar to the former HVS-based quality assessment, the new me...This letter proposes a new kind of image quality philosophy—Modulate Quality based on Fixation Points (MQFP) based on Human Visual System (HVS) model. Dissimilar to the former HVS-based quality assessment, the new measure emphasizes particularly on modeling the jumping phenomenon of human sight instead of modeling the visual perception of human. In other words, to model the HVS using fixation points and stay-frequency instead of Contrast Sensitive Function (CSF) etc. which models the visual perception of HVS. The experiment on various frequency-distortion images indicates that the new measure is correlated with the subjective judgment more than the former HVS-based measure and is a robust measure.展开更多

The methods of fuzzy techniques, neural networks, classical factorial analysis and other data analysis are used in the system to analyze the objective and subjective data, and to build the relationship between them. Given the objective data of a new fabric sample, the system can provide its sensory hand data and its total hand grade. In meantime, the total hand grade can be obtained directly from the sensory fabric hand data if provided. The sensory evaluation system is developed in Internet environment using Java language and SQL server database management system.展开更多

The TanDEM-X mission is a scientific and commercial Earth observation mission comprising two satellites flying in close formation. The formation maintenance can be advantageously performed by an onboard autonomous sys...The TanDEM-X mission is a scientific and commercial Earth observation mission comprising two satellites flying in close formation. The formation maintenance can be advantageously performed by an onboard autonomous system, which reduces the operational efforts, provides a shorter reaction time in case of contingencies and increases the control performance. The TanDEM-X Autonomous Formation Flying (TAFF) system has been developed for this purpose and is intended to replace the ground-based formation keeping activities during routine operations. TAFF has been activated for the first time in October 2010 for commissioning, during which the autonomous usage of thrusters was prohibited. Afterwards, a closed-loop campaign was successfully conducted in March 2011, demonstrating the capability of TAFF to maintain autonomously the formation. After a brief technical description of the system, the paper presents the key results gained during the commissioning phase and the closed-loop campaign,展开更多
