Meanwhile, these subpopulations will share their rewards to accelerate attribute reduction implementation.Secondly, a multi-agent ensemble strategy of co-evolutionary elitist optimization is constructed to ensure that subpopulations can exploit any correlation and interdependency between interacting attribute subsets with reinforcing noise tolerance.Hence, these agents are kept within the stable elitist region to achieve the optimal profit. The experimental results show that the proposed CCAEMR algorithm has better efficiency and feasibility to solve large-scale and uncertain dataset problems with complex noise.展开更多

The factors influencing the de-emulsification efficiency and the generation site of de-emulsification active component of the strain were also investigated. The similarity of 16SrDNA sequences between strain XH1 and Bacillus mojavensis (DQ993678)was 99%. According to the physiological biochemical test, strain XH1 was preliminarily identified as Bacillus mojavensis. The logarithmic growth, stable phase and decline phase of strain XHI were determined as 14, 18 and 28 h, respectively. The best de-emulsification activity emerged after cultivating for 18h, and the complete de-emulsification was achieved at 24 h. The most favorable incubation conditions for de-emulsification occurred with pH of 6. 0 at 30 ℃. The de-emulsification capability of strain XH1 was mainly resulted from extracellular metabolites. The above results indicate that strain XH1 has high de-emulsification efficiency and is potential as a commercial de-emulsifier.展开更多

However, standardization methods can also change the understanding of such a relationship. We tested the stability of this relationship by considering several variables: 1) two periods(1952–1980 and 1981–2009), 2) three elevations(2700, 3000, and 3300 m), and 3) chronologies detrended using cubic splines with two different flexibilities. With increasing elevation, the climatic factor limiting the radial growth of Picea crassifolia shifted from precipitation to temperature. At the elevation of 2700 m, the relationship between radial growth and mean temperature of the previous December changed so that the more flexible spline had a greater precipitation signal. At the elevation of 3000 m, positive correlation of radial growth with mean temperature and precipitation in September of the previous year became more significant. At the elevation of 3300 m, positive correlation between radial growth and precipitation of the currentsummer and the previous spring and autumn was no longer significant, whereas the positive correlation between radial growth and temperature of the current spring and summer strengthened. The detrending with the most flexible spline enhanced the precipitation signal at 2700 m, while that with the least flexible spline enhanced the temperature signal at 3300 m. All results indicated that the divergence phenomenon was affected by the climatic signals in the chronologies and that it was most dependent on the detrending method. This suggests it is necessary to select a suitable spline bootstrap for studies of growth divergence phenomena.展开更多

There are a series of small to medium-sized Au and Pb-(Zn) deposits around this intrusion. Those deposits are spatially associated with the Habo alkaline intrusion. (1) The δ^34S values of sulfides from Au deposits range from -1.91‰ to 2.69 ‰, which are similar to those of Pb-(Zn) deposits (-3.82 ‰ to -0.05 ‰) and both indicate a much greater contribution from magma. (2) The Habo alkaline intrusion has relatively homogeneous Pb isotopic compositions with ^206pb/^204pb ranging from 18.608 to 18.761, ^207pb/^204pb from 15.572 to 15.722 and ^20spb/^204pb from 38.599 to 39.110. These Pb isotope ratios are similar to those of Au deposits, whose ^206pb/^204pb range from 18.564 to 18.734, ^20Tpb/^20apb from 15.582 to 15.738 and ^208pb/^204pb from 38.592 to 39.319. Pb ratios in both the intrusion and Au deposits suggest that Pb mainly derived from the depth, probably represents a mixture of mantle and crust. Pb-(Zn) deposits, however, show a decentralized trait, and most of them are similar to that of the alkaline intrusion with ^206pb/^204pb ranging from 18.523 to 18.648, ^207pb/^204pb from 15.599 to 15.802, and ^20spb/^204pb from 38.659 to 39.206. (3) In the plumbotectonic diagram ^20Tpb/^204pb versus ^206pb/^204pb, almost all of Au and Pb-(Zn) deposits have the same projection area with the Habo alkaline intrusion, which indicates that those deposits almost share the same source with the alkaline intrusion. (4) Isotopic age of the Habo alkaline intrusion is 36-33 Ma, which is similar to that of Beiya, whose ore- related alkaline porphyries age is 38-31 Ma and molybdenite Re-Os age is 36.9 Ma. Therefore, along with S-Pb isotope traits, we suggest that the Habo Au and Pb-(Zn) deposits should be typically Ailaoshan-Red RiverCenozoicalkaline-related deposits and ore-forming ages of these deposits should be later than that of the Habo alkaline intrusion.展开更多

The authors tried to ferment using lactobacilli associated with various biological functions and expected that fermented extract by lactobacilli will be superior to non-fermented extract in antioxidant activity. C. versicolor was extracted with 70% ethanol and then it was fermented by Lactobacillus acidophilus KCTC3164 and Lactobacillus plantarum KCTC3099, respectively. 1,l-dipheny|-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) scavenging activity, superoxide dismutase (SOD)-like activity and tetrazolium salt 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assays were performed. DPPH scavenging activity of fermented extract by L. acidophilus was higher than fermented extract by L. plantarum and antioxidant effect of fermented extract was 20%-30% higher than non-fermented extract. SOD-like activity was represented 18% in fermented extract by L. acidophilus, and was 27% in fermented extract by L. plantarum higher than non-fermented extract. As a result, this study suggests that it may need an efficient protocol for dominant bio-physiological activities such as extract volume or appropriate working volume of cultured cell or mixture condition. The fermented C. versicolor extract should provide with useful antioxidant agent in the human skin.展开更多

Datasets from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Fourth Assessment Report (AR4) 24 general circulation models (GCMs) are evaluated using TRMM PR rain products in terms of their ability to simulate convective and stratiform precipitation and their deficiencies. The results show that Asian monsoon convective and stratiform precipitation increases significantly after onset of the summer monsoon, but the percentage of convective precipitation clearly decreases over tropical areas while it increases in subtropical regions. The GCMs simulate well the seasonal variation in the contribution of Asian monsoon subtropical convective precipitation to the total rainfall; however, the simulated convective precipitation amount is high while the simulated stratiform precipitation amount is low relative to TRMM measurements, especially over the Asian monsoon tropical region. There is simultaneous TRMM-observed convective and stratiform precipitation in space and time, but GCMs cannot simulate this relationship between convective and stratiform precipitation, resulting in the deficiency of stratiform precipitation simulations.展开更多
