Enhancing Cooperation in N-Person Social Dilemma Game: Interactive Effects of Limitation and Cost for Job Change and Incentive on Cooperation

The non-cooperative action in the social dilemma situation might, at the worst case, lead to violation of social rules (or regulations). A repetitive N-person social dilemma game that permit the participants to change jobs between organizations (groups) and mutually interact between groups was carried out to investigate how "limitation for job change", "cost for job change", and "incentive (enhancement of personal career)" affected the cooperation. The cost for job change effectively worked for the enhancement of cooperation. When the cost for job change was not necessary, the cooperative behavior was enhanced. When the cost for job change was necessary, it tended that a non-cooperative action was selected. When the limitation and the cost for job change were imposed, and the participants were provided with the incentive for cooperation, the cooperation rate was the highest. A significant interaction between the incentive condition (enhancement of personal career) and the limitation for job change was also clarified. 展开更多

The shock wave boundary layer interaction on the suction side of transonic compressor blade is one of the main objectives of TFAST project (Transition Location Effect on Shock Wave Boundary Layer Interaction). The experimental and numerical results for the flow structure investigations are shown for the flow conditions as the existing ones on the suction side of the compressor profile. The two cases are investigated: without and with boundary layer tripping device. In the fwst case, boundary layer is laminar up to the shock wave, while in the second case the boundary layer is tripped by the step. Numerical results carried out by means of Fine/Turbo Numeca with Explicit Algebraic Reynolds Stress Model including transition modeling are compared with schlieren, Temperature Sensitive Paint and wake measurements. Boundary layer transition location is detected by Temperature Sensitive Paint. 展开更多

We study the performance of space division multiple access (SDMA) under a non-ideal engineering situation. When the SDMA channel is of high inter-layer correlation and the condition number is large, the multiple user multiple input and multiple output user equipment (MUMIMOUE) grouping should be optimized, and in some cases further dimension-reduction should be applied. As the channel measuring is always non-ideal, we use two methods, feedback mode and non-feedback mode, in terms of performance and overhead. It is proposed that the non-feedback mode is preferable even for some non-reciprocal channels. Prin- ciple analysis and test results are given. 展开更多

In this paper, a stochastic predator-prey (PP) model with mutual interference is considered. Some sufficient conditions for the existence of globally positive solution, non- persistence in the mean, weak persistence in the mean, strong persistence in the mean and almost surely extinction of the the model are established. Moreover, the thresh- old between weak persistence in the mean and almost surely extinction of the prey is obtained. Some examples are given to show the feasibility of the results by numeri- cal simulation. It is significant that such a model is firstly proposed with stochastic perturbation. 展开更多
