This al...The accuracy of conventional time delay estimation (TDE) algorithms is limited by the sampling interval. A novel algorithm of subsample TDE suitable for widehand signals is presented to improve the accuracy. This algorithm applies periodogram and parabolic interpolation to the cross correlation spectrum of band limited stochastic signals, and can obtain a continuous time delay estimator. Simulations are carried out to compare the performance of the proposed algorithm with that of other subsample TDE algorithms. Results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms other algorithms and reachs the Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB) at a high signal- to-noise ratio. For the wideband characteristic and the randomness of the transmitting signal, the proposed algo- rithm is suitable for the low probability of intercept radars.展开更多

The better cycling performance of Na intercalation into the CF cathode, comparing to that of Li intercalation, is attributed to the different strength and characteristics of the Li-F and Na-F interactions. This paper accelerates MI-based image registration by dividing computation of mutual information into spatial transformation and histogram-based calculation, and performing 3D spatial transformation and trilinear interpolation on graphic processing unit (GPU). The 3D floating image is downloaded to GPU as flat 3D texture, and then fetched and interpolated for each new voxel location in fragment shader. The transformed resuits are rendered to textures by using frame buffer object (FBO) extension, and then read to the main memory used for the remaining computation on CPU. Experimental results show that GPU-accelerated method can achieve speedup about an order of magnitude with better registration result compared with the software implementation on a single-core CPU.展开更多

It sho...The communication reports an exploratory experimental study on the effects of nitrogen annealing on lithium ion intercalation in nickel-doped lithium trivana- date cathodic electrodes for lithium ion batteries. It shows good rate performance with discharge capacities of 348.6, 252.6, 191.9 and 96.7 mAh g-1 at 0.2, 0.5, 1 and 5 C, respectively. Nitrogen annealing resulted in the formation of parasitic secondary-phase LiVzO5 and appreciably increased tetravalent vanadium ions compensated with oxygen vacancies, which would enhance the electronic conductivity and lithium ion diffusivity and promote the interface interaction and deintercalation process, and thus lead to the enhanced lithium ion intercalation properties. The possible impacts of the parasitic secondary-phase LiV205 on the lithium ion intercalation performance have also been discussed.展开更多
