The simplicity of the mechanism lies in its statelessness and low computation overhead, which makes the detection mechanism itself immune to flooding-attacks. The SYN-flooding, as an instance of flooding-attack, is used to illustrate the anomaly detection mechanism. The mechanism applies an exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) method to detect the abrupt net flow and applies a symmetry analysis method to detect the anomaly activity of the network flow. Experiment shows that the mechanism has high detection accuracy and low detection latency.展开更多

China lags far behind advanced economies such as the United States, Germany and Japan in terms of the quality of transport infrastructures except railroad," electricity infrastructure is insufficient and service efficiency needs improvement; ICT infrastructure requires all-round upgrade and gaps in Internet bandwidth are striking. This paper suggests that, based on the needs of supply-side structural reform, China must reform its investment and financing systems to enhance the efficiency of infrastructure investment. Efforts must be made to enhance air transport and port infrastructure to support industrial upgrade; to develop the energy Internet to address emerging demands; and to forge a new generation of ICT infrastructure with industrial Internet as the priority to prepare China for the new round of industrial competition.展开更多

The hybrid gateway discovery scheme that combined the advantages of a proactive and reactive gateway discovery approach is used to achieve high connectivity while keeping overhead costs low. By exchanging ad hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV) hello packet which includes additional fields named symmetric neighbor list and asymmetric neighbor list, unidirectional links are removed from route computation and broadcast storm can also be relieved simultaneously.
