A novel moving object detection method was proposed in order to adapt the difficulties caused by intermittent object motion,thermal and dynamic background sequences.Two groups of complementary Gaussian mixture models ...A novel moving object detection method was proposed in order to adapt the difficulties caused by intermittent object motion,thermal and dynamic background sequences.Two groups of complementary Gaussian mixture models were used.The ghost and real static object could be classified by comparing the similarity of the edge images further.In each group,the multi resolution Gaussian mixture models were used and dual thresholds were applied in every resolution in order to get a complete object mask without much noise.The computational color model was also used to depress illustration variations and light shadows.The proposed method was verified by the public test sequences provided by the IEEE Change Detection Workshop and compared with three state-of-the-art methods.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method is better than others for all of the evaluation parameters in intermittent object motion sequences.Four and two in the seven evaluation parameters are better than the others in thermal and dynamic background sequences,respectively.The proposed method shows a relatively good performance,especially for the intermittent object motion sequences.展开更多
Obesity has become a leading global health problem owing to its strong association with a high incidence of diseases. Obesity is results from the complex interaction of environmental factors that act on a genetic back...Obesity has become a leading global health problem owing to its strong association with a high incidence of diseases. Obesity is results from the complex interaction of environmental factors that act on a genetic background and led to excess accumulated of body fat. Treatment of obesity includes determination of the degree of obesity, management weight loss programme and maintenance of body weight. To investigate effect 6 months safe weight loss program on anthropometric measurements and biological and metabolic profiles in obese patients. 35 obese patients were enrolled in the present study: 20 female, 15 male. Participants underwent a comprehensive series of biochemical, anthropometrical, physical, and nutritional prior to treatment- at baseline and after the six-month of the obesity treatment program. 6 months weight loss program. Diet plan intervention in small groups. In-person training and individual diet plan intervention. There is significant reduction in weight and high improvement in laboratory parameters. Our data showed that there an improvement in weight loss. These finding may be important for controlling obesity-related co-morbidities. It would appear that moderate weight loss of 8-10 % observed in our study resulted in significant improvements in laboratory parameters展开更多

It demonstrates that such interactions wit...This paper seeks to exemplify some of the intentional and unintentional nonverbal communication attempts expressea Dy children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) syndrome. It demonstrates that such interactions with the rest of the world are trying to establish some semiotic functions, in an effort behaviorally to overcome the children's disability. The author's aim is to analyze such a paradoxical way of communicational interaction of such a subject vs. a given objectively perceivable reality, thus attempting to reveal paradoxical social contexts. The focus is on interpersonal communication abilities and/or disabilities, thus allowing semiotically distinguishable units as an object of analysis. The problem of mental disorders, such as ASD, requires a multi-dimensional approach--e.g., biological, medical, and other related fields. In conclusion, by applying a semiotic analysis, it becomes necessary to communicate with such children in a whole new way which, by processes of transformation, can bring about a state of awareness of a paradoxical and/or abnormal phenomenon.展开更多

Hereby for such equations, via the Hirota method and syrnbolic computa...In the biased guest-host photorefractive polymer, the Manakov equations can be used to describe the op- tical soliton propagation and interaction. Hereby for such equations, via the Hirota method and syrnbolic computation, analytic soliton solutions in the bright-dark and dark-dark forms are obtained. Based on the choice of photorefrac- rive polymer parameter and incident-optical-beam parameter, the bright-dark and dark-dark solitons as well as their interaction can occur in the polymer when the total intensity is much lower than the background illumination, and our analysis indicates that the incident light with different polarization directions influence little on the soliton propagation. ~, representing the soliton intensity far away from the soliton center, determines the appearance of bright or dark soliton under the background illumination. Through the graphic and asymptotic analysis on the two-soliton solutions along with the different ~, we find that there exist the elastic and inelastic interactions between the bright-dark solitons, while the interactions between the dark-dark solitons are always elastic.展开更多
Many dark energy models fail to pass the cosmic age test because of the old quasar APM 08279+5255 at redshift z=3.91,the ΛCDMmodel and holographic dark energy models being no exception.Inthis paper,we focus onthe top...Many dark energy models fail to pass the cosmic age test because of the old quasar APM 08279+5255 at redshift z=3.91,the ΛCDMmodel and holographic dark energy models being no exception.Inthis paper,we focus onthe topic of the age problem inthe new agegraphic dark energy(NADE)model.We determine the age of the universe in the NADE model by fitting the observational data,including type Ia supernovae(SNIa),baryon acoustic oscillations(BAO)and the cosmic microwave background(CMB).We find that the NADE model also faces the challenge of the age problem caused by the old quasar APM 08279+5255.In order to overcome such a difficulty,we consider the possible interaction between dark energy and dark matter.We show that this quasar can be successfully accommodated in the interacting new agegraphic dark energy(INADE)model at the 2σlevel under the current observational constraints.展开更多
