We have studied the effects of the finite range on the fusion and/or breakup of ^6He^+238U and ^11Li+^208pb Pb dynamic polarization potential approach. It has been found of the interaction between the fragments of the projectile systems at near barrier energies within the framework of that at near barrier energies the maximum flux is lost to the breakup channel and at energies well above the Coulomb barrier the fusion coupled with the breakup channel opens up, initially with sharp rise and later becoming saturated at energy nearly twice of the Coulomb barrier. Further, it is found that the breakup cross section increases with the increasing range of the interaction between the fragments of the projectile while the fusion coupled with the breakup channel cross section decreases with the increasing range. 展开更多

What we call cultural strength is actually the locus of cultural vitality; that is, culture existing not as object (target) but rather as subject. We need a new kind of cultural self-awareness and cultural self- confidence. Globalization has two aspects: internationalization and "worldization." These attributes determine our two-fold task of developing and making use of international cultural resources to reconstruct Chinese culture, and of Chinese cultural resources to reconstruct world culture. At the same time, the dual nature of globalization also determines the duality of the cross-cultural. Here we find the very grounds for China's strategy for cultural development to deal with globalization. 展开更多

Reciprocity has core significance for understanding basic human living conditions:our social nature is founded on reciprocal relations,and reciprocity strengthens the ties between people.Reciprocity-based anthropology is a kind of cultural logic,one that stresses the interaction between different groups.Fundamentally,it involves studying forms of the mutually beneficial relations involved in complementary differences.This perspective reconciles differences,creating a communicative space for diverse cultures’coexistence,symbiosis and sharing.The various channels formed through human activity include ways in and ways out,constant incomings and outgoings,the coexistence of different cultures,ways of life and ideas,and complementarity.The launching of the Belt and Road Initiative includes channels with multiple characteristics and functions,so research on this topic involves the analysis of society and culture based on roadways rather than locations. 展开更多

Italicized carbon nanotube facilitating water transport:a molecular dynamics simulation 被引量:2

While the preferential movement of water inside carbon nanotube is appealing for water purification,our understanding of the water transport mechanism through carbon nanotube(CNT)-based membrane is far from adequate. Here we conducted molecular dynamics simulations to study how the alignment of the CNTs in the membrane affects the water transport through the CNT membrane. It was shown that compared to the conventional CNT membrane where the alignment of CNTs was vertical to membrane surface, the ‘‘italicized CNT membrane'' in which the contact angel between membrane surface and the CNT alignment is not 90° offered a higher transmembrane flux of water. The expanded exposure of more carbon atoms to water molecules reduced the energy barrier near the entrance of this italicized CNT membrane, compared to the vertical one. For water flows through the italicized CNT membrane, the Lennard-Jones interaction between water and nanotube as function of central path of the CNT changes from ‘‘U'' to ‘‘V'' pattern, which significantly lowers energy barrier for filling water into the CNT,favoring the water transport inside carbon nanotube. Above simulation indicates new opportunities for applying CNT in water purification or related fields in which water transport matters. 展开更多

For the frequency divider, it must be... Frequency synthesizer is an important part of optical and wireless communication system. Low power comsumption prescaler is one of the most critical unit of frequency synthesizer. For the frequency divider, it must be programmable for channel selection in multi-channel communication systems. A dual-modulus prescaler (DMP) is needed to provide variable division ratios. DMP is considered as a critical power dissipative block since it always operates at full speed. This paper introduces a high speed and low power complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) 15/16 DMP based on true single-phase-clock (TSPC) and transmission gates (TGs) cell. A conventional TSPC is optimized in terms of devices size, and it is resimulated. The TSPC is used in the synchronous and asynchronous counter. TGs are used in the control logic. The DMP circuit is implemented in 0.18 μm CMOS process. The simulation results are provided. The results show wide operating frequency range from 7.143 MHz to 4.76 GHz and it comsumes 3.625 mW under 1.8 V power supply voltage at 4.76 GHz. 展开更多
