In the scheme, a group of bit-level interleavers spanning only a few bits are used to produce multiple sequences representing the same information, and one of the sequences resulting in the lowest peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) is selected for transmission. The implementation of the scheme including the structure of the short-span interleaver is illustrated. The performance of this PAPR reduction scheme is investigated by simulations. This scheme exhibits a good PAPR reduction performance, and for signals of high level modulation, such as 16QAM and 64QAM, it approaches the best performance of all SLM schemes. Compared to the conventional interleaving SLM, this short-span interleaving SLM results in a very short time delay, requires very few register units for buffering, and can be easily implemented by hardware.展开更多

Several factors influencing Trp enantiomers separation, such as alkyl chain length of CILs, concentrations of Cu2+ and CILs, pH of the mobile phase, flow rate, organic solvent and temperature, were studied. Under the optimal conditions, the Trp enantiomers could be successfully separated within 21 min with the resolution of 2.30. At the same time, some thermodynamical parameters were obtained. The experimental results show that the enthalpy values of the Trp enantiomers are negative, indicating that the separation process is exothermic. And the enthalpy values of D-Trp are larger than those of L-Trp, which indicates that L-Trp could form more stable ternary complexes with tryptophan enantiomers.展开更多

By combining the exponential effective SNR(signal-to-noise ratio) mapping(EESM) with the maximum a posteriori(MAP) algorithm, a bit LLR(log-likelihood ratio) wise EESM(BL-EESM) method is proposed. This method can abstract the link performance with high accuracy, especially for the case when channel estimation is imperfect. Afterward, the BL-EESM method is simplified by utilizing the non-linear quantization idea, which can reduce the times of exponential operation by two orders of magnitude at wide system bandwidth, yet shows little loss in accuracy. Our proposal can be applied to both system level simulations to save the time consumption and to practical terminals to facilitate the adaptive modulation and coding(AMC) procedure, bringing about throughput improvement at low hardware cost.展开更多
