Research on technology innovation capability of equipment manufacturing industry in Shanghai

Equipment manufacturing industry is an important symbol to measure the industrial strength, scientific and technological innovation ability and international competitiveness of a country or region. Firstly, this paper analyzes the development status of equipment manufacturing industry in Shanghai, and then uses DEA to analyze the efficiency of technology innovation capability of equipment manufacturing industry in Shanghai. The results show that the equipment manufacturing industry in Shanghai has stronger overall drawing ability, and besides, the technology innovation ability of the transportation equipment manufacturing industry is weak, other equipment manufacturing sub industries have relatively strong ability of technological innovation. This paper analyzes the shortcomings of the transportation equipment manufacturing industry and gives guidance and puts forward corresponding suggestions and measures. 展开更多

Statements by some important Peking Universit... The paper gives an overview of the Anti-Christian Movement of 1922-1927, focusing on the role of Peking University faculty and students in the first stage of the movement. Statements by some important Peking University intellectuals, such as University President Cai Yuanpei (蔡元培) and Professors Chen Duxiu (陈独秀), Hu Shi (胡适), Zhou Zuoren (周作人), etc. are discussed in detail. Special attention is given to those comments that stand out as against "majority opinion". Neither the Communists nor the Nationalists were key leaders during the first stage of the movement. It was the clash of core Chinese cultural values with those of Christianity and the Chinese desire to industrialize a country overwhelmed by the Western powers that were instrumental in the instigation of the Anti-Christian Movement. 展开更多

This paper discusses various teaching scenarios in which physical response may be employed to balance verbal response. Physical actions and movements make meaningful alternative activities that can achieve concentration and alertness from learners. They serve to reduce stress, create an informal and spontaneous atmosphere of learning, and facilitate language acquisition. The potential of physical response is especially noteworthy in eliciting interaction and stimulating communication based on reading texts. Many activities of this kind can be used to review and memorize vocabulary and to act out the parts on which the teacher would like the students to focus. Physical activities become even more practical and applicable when realia are combined to assist the performer who may find a particular action or movement hard to perform. 展开更多
