This fiber tract consists of the alvear path, the perforant path and a crossed commissural projection. In this study, the histogenesis and development of the various subsets of the entorhino-hippocampal projection have been investigated. Methods Dil, DiO and fast blue tracing as well as anti-calretinin immunocytochemistry were carried out with prenatal and postnatal rats at different ages. Results The alvear path and the commissural pathway started to develop as early as embryonic day (E) 16, while the first perforant afferents reached the stratum lacunosum-moleculare of the hippocampus at E 17 and the outer molecular layer of dentate gyrus at postnatal day (P) 2, respectively. Retrograde tracing with DiI identified entorhinal neurons in layer II to IV as the origin of entorhino-hippocampal pathway. Furthermore, anti-calretinin immunocytochemistry revealed transitory Cajal- Retzius (CR) cells in the stratum lacunosum-moleculare of the hippocampus from as early as E 16. DiI labeling of entorhinal cortex fibers and combined calretinin-immunocytochemistry showed a close association between CR cells and entorhinal afferents. Conclusion The subsets of entorhino-hippocampal pathway appear in the developmental hippocampus during El6 - P2. The temporal and spatial relationship between CR cell and perforant afferent suggests the role of this cell type as a guiding cue for entorhinal afferents at early cortical development.展开更多

Plant height of the male parent was 6-8 cm higher than that of the female parent, and blooming time of the male parent was 30-60 min earlier than that of the female parent. The seed pro-duction technology points of Tongyoujing 1 include appropriate seeding (the differ-ence in sowing period of both parents is 3-5 d), timely transplanting, reasonable layout (ratio of rows between both parents is 2:(6-8)), strengthening variety isolation, scientific fertilizer and water management (high fertilization for male parent and ade-quate fertilization for female parent), reasonably regulating flowering period (to pro-mote flower synchronization), artificial pollination (to improve outcrossing rate), paying attention to miscel aneous plant removal and pest control and timely harvest.展开更多

His growth as an artist and his "new songs" are a result of his own continuous development of that knowledge展开更多

GO quantum dots(QDs) are promising candidates to fully exert the rich oxygen containing functional groups due to their unique size induced edge effects. In this work, GO QDs modified polysulfone(PSF) ultrafiltration(UF) membranes were prepared by phase inversion method with various GO QDs loadings(0.1–0.5 wt.%). A proper amount of GO QDs addition led to a more porous and hydrophilic membrane structure. With 0.3 wt.% GO QDs, the membranes showed a60% increase in permeability(130.54 vs. 82.52 LMH bar^-1).The pristine PSF membranes had a complete cutoff of bovine serum albumin molecules and it was well maintained with GO QDs incorporated. The membranes with 0.5 wt.% GO QDs exhibited the highest flux recovery ratio of 89.7% and the lowest irreversible fouling of 10.3%(54.5% and 33.3% for the pristine PSF membranes). Our results proved that GO QDs can function as effective nanofillers to enhance the hydrophilicity, permeability and antifouling performance of PSF UF membranes.展开更多
