This work aims to implement expert and collaborative group recommendation services through an analysis of expertise and network relations NTIS. First of all, expertise database has been constructed by extracting keywords after indexing national R&D information in Korea (human resources, project and outcome) and applying expertise calculation algorithm. In consideration of the characteristics of national R&D information, weight values have been selected. Then, expertise points were calculated by applying weighted values. In addition, joint research and collaborative relations were implemented in a knowledge map format through network analysis using national R&D information. 展开更多

This paper gives an analysis of the quality issues in the expansion of university education in Kenya examining the human resource challenges and opportunities. It examines a variety of factors that impact the nature, content, and mode of delivery of the teaching. The paper is an introduction and highlights the importance of higher education to societal development. It observes that higher education enables individuals to develop their capabilities to the highest potential, serves the needs of an adaptive, sustainable and knowledge based economy and plays a major role in shaping a democratic, civilized and inclusive society. It is thus seen as the key to progress in the 21 st century. It examines government policy with respect to education in general and higher education in particular. It is noted that the government recognizes the important role that education plays to foster national development and has therefore through various policy instruments sought to ensure that access, relevance, and quality become the major areas of the development of higher education in the country. The management of the universities in the country has faced serious human resource challenges. These challenges arise from the fact that the rapid expansion of university education in the country has not been accompanied with provision of resources in order to maintain high standards, quality, and relevance. This in turn has negatively affected the quality and relevance of the programmes. It is recommended that in order to enhance the quality of teaching, research, and service delivery. 展开更多

Effect of B and Fe substitution on structure of AB_3-type Co-free hydrogen storage alloy

A series of hydrogen storage Co-free AB3-type alloys were directly synthesized with vacuum mid-frequency melting method,within which Ni of La0.7Mg0.3Ni3 alloy was substituted by Fe,B and(FeB) alloy,respectively.Alloys were characterized by XRD,EDS and SEM to investigate the effects of B and Fe substitution for Ni on material structure.The content of LaMg2Ni9 phase within La0.7Mg0.3Ni3 alloy reaches 37.9% and that of La0.7Mg0.3Ni2.9(FeB)0.1 alloys reduces to 23.58%.Among all samples,ground particles with different shapes correspond to different phases.The major substitution occurs in LaMg2Ni9 phase.Electrochemical tests indicate that substituted alloys have different electrochemical performance,which is affected by phase structures of alloy.The discharge capacity of La0.7Mg0.3Ni3 alloy reaches 337.3 mA·h/g,but La0.7Mg0.3Ni2.9(FeB)0.1 alloy gets better high rate discharge(HRD) performance at the discharge rate of 500 mA/g with a high HRD value of 73.19%. 展开更多

In order to provide channels of human resource management in promoting organizational learning,structural equation models were used for identifying the differences in the coupling dimensions between human resource archetypes and organizational learning modes based on sample data of 219 manufacturing firms with more than 100 employees.It is found that the coupling of the cooperative human resource archetype and exploitative learning is reflected in the mechanistic structure dimension;the coupling of the cooperative human resource archetype and exploratory learning is reflected in the two dimensions of the mechanistic structure and specialist cognition;the coupling of the entrepreneurial human resource archetype and exploitative learning is reflected in the two dimensions of generalist cognition and cognitive trust;the coupling of the entrepreneurial human resource archetype and exploratory learning is reflected in the dimension of generalist cognition.When manufacturing firms pursue exploitative learning,it is suggested that they pay attention to the structure dimension management of the collaborative human resource archetype and the cognition and affect dimensions management of the entrepreneurial human resource archetype.When manufacturing firms pursue exploratory learning,it is suggested pay attention to the structure and cognition dimensions management of the collaborative human resource archetype and the cognition dimension management of the entrepreneurial human resource archetype. 展开更多
