A dynamic cooperation model of multi-agent is established by combining reinforcement learning with distributed artificial intelligence(DAI),in which the concept of individual optimization loses its meaning because of ...A dynamic cooperation model of multi-agent is established by combining reinforcement learning with distributed artificial intelligence(DAI),in which the concept of individual optimization loses its meaning because of the dependence of repayment on each agent itself and the choice of other agents.Utilizing the idea of DAI,the intellectual unit of each robot and the change of task and environment,each agent can make decisions independently and finish various complicated tasks by communication and reciprocation between each other.The method is superior to other reinforcement learning methods commonly used in the multi-agent system.It can improve the convergence velocity of reinforcement learning,decrease requirements of computer memory,and enhance the capability of computing and logical ratiocinating for agent.The result of a simulated robot soccer match proves that the proposed cooperative strategy is valid.展开更多

Firstly, the sites of warehouse robots and the order picking tasks are given and the task ass...The task assignment problem of robots in a smart warehouse environment (TARSWE) based on cargo-to-person is investigated. Firstly, the sites of warehouse robots and the order picking tasks are given and the task assignment problem for picking one order is formulated into a mathematical model to minimize the total operation cost. Then a heuristic algorithm is designed to solve the task assignment problem for picking multiple orders. Finally, simulations are done by using the orders data of online bookstore A. The results show that using the heuristic algorithm of this paper to assign robots, the cost was reduced by 2% and it can effectively avoid far route and unbalanced workload of robots. The feasibility and validity of the model and algorithm are verified. The model and algorithm in this paper provide a theoretical basis to solve the TARSWE.展开更多

Even with so many technological advancements, we still lag in developing...The Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19) pandemic has taught us many valuable lessons regarding the importance of our physical and mental health. Even with so many technological advancements, we still lag in developing a system that can fully digitalize the medical data of each individual and make it readily accessible for both the patient and health worker at any point in time. Moreover, there are also no ways for the government to identify the legitimacy of a particular clinic. This study merges modern technology with traditional approaches,thereby highlighting a scenario where artificial intelligence(AI) merges with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), proposing a way to advance the conventional approaches. The main objective of our research is to provide a one-stop platform for the government, doctors,nurses, and patients to access their data effortlessly. The proposed portal will also check the doctors’ authenticity. Data is one of the most critical assets of an organization, so a breach of data can risk users’ lives. Data security is of primary importance and must be prioritized. The proposed methodology is based on cloud computing technology which assures the security of the data and avoids any kind of breach. The study also accounts for the difficulties encountered in creating such an infrastructure in the cloud and overcomes the hurdles faced during the project, keeping enough room for possible future innovations. To summarize, this study focuses on the digitalization of medical data and suggests some possible ways to achieve it. Moreover, it also focuses on some related aspects like security and potential digitalization difficulties.展开更多
The development of mobile phone has brought great convenience to people's daily life, smart phone with various applications has improved the quality of life of people, but also change the people's behavior. As a maj...The development of mobile phone has brought great convenience to people's daily life, smart phone with various applications has improved the quality of life of people, but also change the people's behavior. As a major group of using smart phones, college students have also experienced situations in which the use of mobile phones has decreased the efficiency of learning and escaped from academic pressure. This is a quantitative research for college student in Halmstad that aims at exploring the relevance between smartphone addiction and interaction anxiousness. The sample of 123 college students using smartphone was collected and using incidental sampling method with the use of college students' smartphone addiction scale and interaction anxiousness scale as questionnaires to collect data. The analysis of descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, independent-sample t-test, and regression et al. was used on SPSS 23. According to the results, The smartphone addiction is not common among Swedish college students. The overall status of college students' interaction anxiousness is close to a moderate level. Interaction anxiousness has significant differences in gender, subject and grade. There is a significant positive correlation between smartphone addiction and interaction anxiousness. Interaction anxiousness has a certain predictive effect on smartphone addiction.展开更多

The great success of the Sojourner rover in the Mars Pathfinder mission set off a global upsurge of planetary exploration with autonomous wheeled mobile robots(WMRs),or rovers.Planetary WMRs are among the most intelli...The great success of the Sojourner rover in the Mars Pathfinder mission set off a global upsurge of planetary exploration with autonomous wheeled mobile robots(WMRs),or rovers.Planetary WMRs are among the most intelligent space systems that combine robotic intelligence(robint),virtual intelligence(virtint),and human intelligence(humint) synergetically.This article extends the architecture of the three-layer intelligence stemming from successful Mars rovers and related technologies in order to support the R&D of future tele-operated robotic systems.Double-layer human-machine interfaces are suggested to support the integration of humint from scientists and engineers through supervisory(Mars rovers) or three-dimensional(3D) predictive direct tele-operation(lunar rovers).The concept of multilevel autonomy to realize robint,in particular,the Coupled-Layer Architecture for Robotic Autonomy developed for Mars rovers,is introduced.The challenging issues of intelligent perception(proprioception and exteroception),navigation,and motion control of rovers are discussed,where the terrains' mechanical properties and wheel-terrain interaction mechanics are considered to be key.Double-level virtual simulation architecture to realize virtint is proposed.Key technologies of virtint are summarized:virtual planetary terrain modeling,virtual intelligent rover,and wheel-terrain interaction mechanics.This generalized three-layer intelligence framework is also applicable to other systems that require human intervention,such as space robotic arms,robonauts,unmanned deep-sea vehicles,and rescue robots,particularly when there is considerable time delay.展开更多
The Mongolian Plateau(MP),situated in the transitional zone between the Siberian taiga and the arid grasslands of Central Asia,plays a significant role as an Ecological Barrier(EB)with crucial implications for ecolog...The Mongolian Plateau(MP),situated in the transitional zone between the Siberian taiga and the arid grasslands of Central Asia,plays a significant role as an Ecological Barrier(EB)with crucial implications for ecological and resource security in Northeast Asia.EB is a vast concept and a complex issue related to many aspects such as water,land,air,vegetation,animals,and people,et al.It is very difficult to understand the whole of EB without a comprehensive perspective,that traditional diverse studies cannot cover.Big data and artificial intelligence(AI)have enabled a shift in the research paradigm.Faced with these requirements,this study identified issues in the construction of EB on MP from a big data perspective.This includes the issues,progress,and future recommendations for EB construction-related studies using big data and AI.Current issues cover the status of theoretical studies,technical bottlenecks,and insufficient synergistic analyses related to EB construction.Research progress introduces advances in scientific research driven by big data in three key areas of MP:natural resources,the ecological environment,and sustainable development.For the future development of EB construction on MP,it is recommended to utilize big data and intelligent computing technologies,integrate extensive regional data resources,develop precise algorithms and automated tools,and construct a big data collaborative innovation platform.This study aims to call for more attention to big data and AI applications in EB studies,thereby supporting the achievement of sustainable development goals in the MP and enhancing the research paradigm transforming in the fields of resources and the environment.展开更多
