Although different concepts for ITER TBMs have been proposed by other parties. However, the He-cooled solid breeder blanket (HCSB) with ferritic /martensitic steel (FMs) is still main stream for the fusion DEMO blanket design and has foundation of the world R&D database. Therefore, a helium-cooled solid pebble bed concept has been adopted, as one of options, in Chinese TBM modules design. Under the cooperation of domestic institutes, the preliminary design and performances analysis as well as a draft design description document (DDD) based on the definition and the strategy of DEMO fusion reactor in China have been carried out recently. 展开更多

Fig.l shows general schematic for 3-D structure of previous 3 X 3 and updated 3 X 6 HCSB TBM structure. Present 3X6 HCSB TBM box is mounted on 1/2 ITER testing port. It is 48.4 cm in width, 66 cm in height, 63 cm in depth, 2 cm of gaps on side faces between frame wall and TBM box. A frame wall thickness around TBM module is 20 cm. 展开更多
