农业是国民经济的基础 ,粮食是农业生产的命脉。农村的稳定、国家的稳定 ,首先要靠粮食的稳定 ,也就是靠粮食的安全。在新的形势下 ,粮食生产变得更具战略意义。为了更好地提高农业的经济效益和改善农民的生活水平、适应农业结构的调整... 农业是国民经济的基础 ,粮食是农业生产的命脉。农村的稳定、国家的稳定 ,首先要靠粮食的稳定 ,也就是靠粮食的安全。在新的形势下 ,粮食生产变得更具战略意义。为了更好地提高农业的经济效益和改善农民的生活水平、适应农业结构的调整和改革 ,同时为了适应国家的战略需要 ,保证在任何突发事件时都有迅速扩大粮食生产的能力 ,选育能胜任“少种、高产、多收、高效益”、可自行留种特别是有多种纯合优势综合于一体的“超优势稻”是一条重要的途径。从 2 0世纪 90年代后期起 ,对超优势稻的育种方案进行了探索 ,设计一条富有针对性的包含了原始性创新和技术集成创新的技术路线 ,并于2 0 0 1年开始进行中国超优势稻育种研究 ,利用两源并举组群筛选育种新方法 ,培育两源并举、多种纯合优势集于一体的超优势稻。超优势稻培育工程 ,实施两年多获得了可喜的苗头 :以金科占系列和奇国占等为亲本的杂交组合 ,其两源并举性状组配型优异和性状重组表现突出。预期超优势稻的培育工程 3年有突破 ,5年出硕果。 展开更多

[Method] Chunyou 618 is a japonica-indica hybrid rice combination developed from Chunj... [Objective] The aim was to select and breed Chunyou 618 which is a novel combination among japonica-indica hybrid rice subspecies. [Method] Chunyou 618 is a japonica-indica hybrid rice combination developed from Chunjiang 16A, a late japonica CMS line with dwarfness and early anthesis time, and C18, an indicaclinous wide compatibility restorer line. In addition, the concerning characters were researched. [Result] Chunyou 618, which is japonica inclining, proved high in pro- duction and in resistance to lodging with Cheng's index at 15. It is of moderate re- sistance against Xanthomonas oryzae and stripe virus disease, of moderate susceptibility on rice blast, and of susceptibility on Nilaparvata lugens. The indices of rice quality achieved departmental standard 4 and grade 4 of Cooking Rice Variety Quality, respectively. [Conclusion] Chunyou 618 enjoys strong heterosis, strong stem, good lodging resistance, large panicles, good cold tolerance, high yield and wide adaptability, which is suitable to be grown in Zhejiang Province as single cropping late rice. 展开更多

The genetic basis of heterosis was studied through mid-parent, standard variety and better parent for 11 quantitative traits in 17 parental lines and their 10 selected hybrids in rice (Oryza sativa L.).The characters were plant height,days to flag leaf initiation, days to first panicle initiation, days to 100% flowering, panicle length,flag leaf length, days to maturity, number of fertile spikelet/panicle, number of effective tillers/hill, grain yield/10-hill, and 1000-grain weight.In general the hybrids performed significantly better than the respective parents.Significant heterosis was observed for most of the studied characters. Among the 10 hybrids, four hybrids viz., 17A×45R,25A×37R,27A×39R,31A×47R,and 35A×47R showed highest heterosis in 10-hill grain yield/10-hill. Inbreeding depression of F2 progeny was also studied for 11 characters of 10 hybrids.Both positive and negative inbreeding depression were found in many crosses for the studied characters,but none was found significant. Selection of good parents was found to be the most important for developing high yielding hybrid rice varieties. 展开更多

Javanica rice exhibits long panicles, big grains, less panicles per plant, a long growth duration and high plant height in Changsha. The hybrid of Pei'ai 64S/javanica possesses positive heterobeltiosis in culm height, panicle length, panicles per plant, spikelets per panicle, grains per panicle, yield per plant, theoretic yield per hectare and actual yield per hectare; performs negative heterobeltiosis in days to flower, seed setting rate and 1000-grain weight. There are significant linear regression relations between culm height of the hybrid and panicle length of its male parent, panicle length of the hybrid and that of its male parent, spikelets per panicle of the hybrid and spikelets per panicle and panicle length of its male parent, grains per panicle of the hybrid and spikelets per panicle of its male parent, 1000-grain weight of the hybrid and spikelets per panicle of its male parent, respectively. In general, significant differences at 1% level are seen in most traits except grains per panicle and theoretic yield per hectare between the indica/javanica hybrid and Pei'ai 64S/Teqin (CK). Compared with the check, the indica/javanica hybrids have positive Standard heterosis in culm height, panicle length, spikelets per panicle, grains per panicle and 1000-grain weight but negative standard heterosis in days to flower, panicles per plant, seed setting rate, theoretic yield per hectare and actual yield per hectare. For the individuals, 11.1% hybrids possess > 40% standard heterosis in theoretic yield per hectare, 3.7% possess >40% standard heterosis in actual yield per hectare. The javanica restorer line 770 derives from a single cross of Pei'ai 64S/Moroberekan B-51-4-9-2. The hybrid 43S/770 possesses an elite plant type and strong heterosis. 展开更多

In present study, under North Carolina design Ⅱ, 5 sterile lines and 2 restorer lines were analyzed by crossing test so as to study the combining ability, habitability and correlation of each major agronomic characters. The results showed that plant height, panicle length, filled grains per plant, grains per plant, 1 000-grain weight, yield per day, yield per plant by parent gene additive effect, seed set of parent gene additive and the additive effect work together, additive effect played a relatively important role, effective tillers per plant by additive genes of the parents and the additive effect had more consistent effects on offspring traits. General combining ability effect analysis showed that the better parents were P1A and R102. The special combining ability of plant height and panicle length in hybrid rice combination was mainly correlated with the general combining ability of restorer line, whereas not with the general combining ability of parent. For the other 7 traits, if the general combining ability of both parents was higher, the special combining ability of hybrid F1 combinations was also higher. The best combination of special combining ability of 9 traits in hybrid rice was P2 A/R102, followed by P1 A/R102. 展开更多
