Inferior crude oil and fuel oil upgrading lead to escalating increase of hydrogen consumption in refineries.It is imperative to reduce the hydrogen consumption for energy-saving operations of refineries.An integration strategy of hydrogen network and an operational optimization model of hydrotreating(HDT)units are proposed based on the characteristics of reaction kinetics of HDT units.By solving the proposed model,the operating conditions of HDT units are optimized,and the parameters of hydrogen sinks are determined by coupling hydrodesulfurization(HDS),hydrodenitrification(HDN)and aromatic hydrogenation(HDA)kinetics.An example case of a refinery with annual processing capacity of eight million tons is adopted to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed optimization strategies and the model.Results show that HDS,HDN and HDA reactions are the major source of hydrogen consumption in the refinery.The total hydrogen consumption can be reduced by 18.9%by applying conventional hydrogen network optimization model.When the hydrogen network is optimized after the operational optimization of HDT units is performed,the hydrogen consumption is reduced by28.2%.When the benefit of the fuel gas recovery is further considered,the total annual cost of hydrogen network can be reduced by 3.21×10~7CNY·a^(-1),decreased by 11.9%.Therefore,the operational optimization of the HDT units in refineries should be imposed to determine the parameters of hydrogen sinks base on the characteristics of reaction kinetics of the hydrogenation processes before the optimization of the hydrogen network is performed through the source-sink matching methods. 展开更多

The optimization of high density and concentrated-weight freights loading requires an even distribution of the freight's weight and unconcentrated loading on the floor of the car.Based on the characteristics of concentrated-weight category freights,an improvement method is put forward to build freight towers and a greedy-construction algorithm is utilized based on heuristic information for the initial layout.Then a feasibility analysis is performed to judge if the balanced and unconcentrated loading constrains are reached.Through introducing optimization or adjustment methods,an overall optimal solution can be obtained.Experiments are conducted using data generated from real cases showing the effectiveness of our approach: volume utility ratio of 90.4% and load capacity utility ratio of 86.7% which is comparably even to the packing of the general freights. 展开更多

Due to the interrelationship between the base placement of the manipulator and its operation object,it is significant to analyze the accessibility and workspace of manipulators for the optimization of their base location.A new method is presented to optimize the base placement of manipulators through motion planning optimization and location optimization in the feasible area for manipulators.Firstly,research problems and contents are outlined.And then the feasible area for the manipulator base installation is discussed.Next,index depended on the joint movements and used to evaluate the kinematic performance of manipulators is defined.Although the mentioned indices in last section are regarded as the cost function of the latter,rapidly-exploring random tree(RRT) and rapidly-exploring random tree*(RRT*) algorithms are analyzed.And then,the proposed optimization method of manipulator base placement is studied by means of simulation research based on kinematic performance criteria.Finally,the conclusions could be proved effective from the simulation results. 展开更多
