‘临城桃’原产枣庄市古临城．在薛城区陶庄镇夏庄村一带已有百年栽培历史，是一个优良的地方品种。早在20世纪六七十年代，曾有大面积栽培，果实个大、优质、色艳，成熟期在8月上旬．正值瓜果市场空档．销往济南、南京、徐州等大中城市，深受消费者的喜爱。但后来因连年产量低，裁培面积逐年缩小。从1998年起。我们开始对‘临城桃’资源进行调查、筛选与挖掘，采用国内外常用的芽变选种方法．开展了‘临城桃’优系选育研究.

Breeding and Application of Indica PTGMS Line Yan 161S and Its Hybrid Yanliangyou 1618 in Rice

In 2006, the indica photoperiod- and thermo-sensitive genic male sterile （PTGMS） line Yan 161S was successful y bred by crossing the Guangzhan 63S （♀） and the medium indica breeding material Yan 229 （♂）, which was bred by the Institute of Agricultural Sciences in Coastal Region of Jiangsu Province, after years＇ and generations’ selection in different areas. It passed the identification by Jiangsu Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2013. Crossing the Yan 161S with Yanhui 888, a new high-yielding and high-quality two-line hybrid rice combination Yanliangyou 1618 was developed, and it passed the variety identification in 2014. This paper introduced the breeding processes and characteristics of Yan 161S and Yanliangyou 1618 and the cultivation and seed production techniques of Yanliangyou 1618.

Breeding of National Authorized Two-line Hybrid Rice Yanliangyou 2208

The breeding processes, characteristics and comprehensive characters of two-line hybrid rice Yanliangyou 2208 and its parents （Yan 220S and Yanhui 888） taking part in the national rice regional test of southern rice regions were introduced. Yanliangyou 2208 was approved by the National Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2013. The achievement has been transformed successfully and has been applied in production. It has good development and promotion prospects.

Breeding and Application of Japonica CMS Line Yangfujing 7A with Fine Grain Quality, Disease Resistance and High Combining Ability in Rice

Yangfujing 7A, derived from the cross between Xu 9201A and Yangfujing 7 and its successive backcrosses, is a BT-type japonica CMS line developed by the Agricultural Institute of Riparian Region of Jiangsu Province. It shows good integrat- ed characteristics, stable male sterility, good flowering habits, high out crossing rate, strong disease resistance, fine grain quality （reaching the 1st class of national standards for fine quality rice） and high combining ability. In 2012, it was technically identified in Jiangsu Province. Its F1 hybrid combination Tongyoujingl （Yangfujing 7 A/R98）, showing high yield and good grain quality, was registered and released to commercial production by Jiangsu Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2013.

Breeding of High Quality Indica CMS Line Xinlong A

Xinlong A was a high quality indica CMS line developed with early rice intermediate material 05Zao20(Zhouyou 903/Zhong9B F6)as female parent and IR58025B/Q96 F4 as male parent,Jin23A was then used as female parent for test crossing with BC,and backcrossed and bred with complete fertility and abortion lines.The male sterile line had the characteristics of good agronomic characters,strong combining ability,good resistance,high yield and good quality which reaches gradeⅡstandard of national high quality rice.It showed broad prospects and was technically identified in Jiangxi Province in 2017.

Breeding and Application of Quality Indica CMS Line Taonong 1A in Rice

Taonong 1 A, developed from the cross of Jin 23A/（644B /Yixiang B） F2 and its successive backcrosses over years, is an indica CMS line in rice. It is characteristic of good agronomic characters, restorability, fine grain quality and high multiplication and hybrid seed yield. In 2012, its F1 hybrid combination Taoyou Xi- angzhan （Taonong 1A/Huanghuazhan） was evaluated as a 2nd class fine quality rice variety in Hunan Province. Both Taonong 1A and Taoyou Xiangzhan were regis- tered for release to commercial production by Hunan Provincial Crop Variety Ap- praisal Committee in 2015.
