This study was conducted to investigate the characteristics of meso-scale combustion.The technique of electrical capacitance tomography(ECT) was used to locate flame position and monitor the effect corresponding to va...This study was conducted to investigate the characteristics of meso-scale combustion.The technique of electrical capacitance tomography(ECT) was used to locate flame position and monitor the effect corresponding to varied air/fuel ratio in a meso-scale combustor.Combustion phenomena including igniting,quenching and unsteady combustion have been visualized using ECT.The method of metallization protecting ECT sensor from high temperature damage and the novel calibration method adapted to ECT monitoring of unknown permittivity flame have been shown to be successful.At the same time,electrical nature of combustion and dielectric characteristics of hy-drocarbon flame were studied.The relationship between flame permittivity and state parameters of combustion gas was demonstrated preliminarily.展开更多

Conventional cameras have their own software ISP functions to perform in PC instead of using commercial ISP chips. However these methods have problems such as large computation for image processing. In this paper, th authors proposed ISP that significantly reduced chip area by efficiently sharing of hardware and software. Large operation blocks are designed to hardware for high performances, and hardware is imployed simultaneously with software considering the size of the hardware. The implemented ISP can process Video Graphics Array (VGA) (640 * 480) images and has 91 450 gates size in 0. 35 μm process.展开更多

However,complicated fabrication processes hinder their ap- plications.In this work,we have effectively enhanced the sensitivity of the OFET-based sensors only by adjusting substrate temperature in OSC preparation and surface treatment of the dielectric layer.The relative sensitivity of the device can be enhanced by 5 times.The flexible sensors with polymer dielectric also exhibit high sensitivity because the less smooth surface of the polymer provides the OSCs with smaller grain size.Therefore,this work reveals the trade-off effects of the OSCs grain size on both transistor characteristic and chemic.al sensing performance,and provides a simple and extensively applicable strategy for OFETs sensitivity improvement.展开更多
