To reduce shock during transmission gear shift, a transmission torque feedback closed loop control system is proposed based on the powertrain system model and a torque observer. The ignition time of engine was delayed to reduce transmission output shaft torque during gear shift. In contrast to traditional control method, the closed loop control system based on torque observer can obviously reduce the transmission output shaft torque during gear shift. It can be concluded that by way of torque feedback closed loop control, transmission shift shock can be reduced. 展开更多

The robot has a sophisticated sensor system, which includes ultrasonic sensors, tentacle sensors and a vision sensor. The PBJ- 01 adopts behavior-based reactive control architecture in which the key part is an object recognition system based on a fuzzy neural network. Simulation validates that this system can conclude the obstacle type from the sensor data, and help the robot decide whether to negotiate or to avoid obstacles. 展开更多

A new method was put forward to optimize the position of actuator/sensor of multi-body system with quick startup and brake. Dynamical equation was established for the system with intelligent structure of piezoelectric actuators. According to the property of the modes varying with time, the performance index function was developed based on the optimal configuration principle of energy maximal dissipation, and the relevant optimal model was obtained. According to its characteristic, a float-encoding genetic algorithm, which is efficient, simple and excellent for solving the global-optimal solution of this problem, was adopted. Taking the plane manipulator as an example, the result of numerical calculation shows that, after the actuator/sensor position being optimized, the vibration amplitude of the multi-body system is reduced by 35% compared with that without optimization. 展开更多

This paper is aimed at the actual conditions of disaster caused by gas in small and medium-sized coal mines. A new gas concentration monitoring system for coal mines is developed on the basis of gas-sensing detection and single-chip control. The monitoring system uses the tin oxide as the main material of N-type semiconductor gas sensors, be- cause it has good sensitive characteristics for the flammable and explosive gas ( such as methane, carbon monoxide). The QM-N5-semiconductor gas sensor is adopted to detect the output values of the resistance under the different gas con- centrations. The system, designedly, takes the AT89C51 digital chip as the core of the circuit processing hardware structure to analyze and judge the input values of the resistance, and then achieve the control and alarm for going beyond the limit of gas concentration. The gas concentration monitoring system has man), advantages including simple in struc- ture, fast response time, stable performance and low cost. Thus, it can be widely used to monitor gas concentration and provide early wamings in small and medium-sized coal mines. 展开更多

The paper presents a simplified numerical model of evaporation processes inside vertical tubes.In this model only the temperature fields in the fluid domain(the liquid or two-phase mixture) and solid domain(a tube wall) are determined.Therefore its performance and efficiency is high.The analytical formulas,which allow calculating the pressure drop and the distribution of heat transfer coefficient along the tube length,are used in this model.The energy equation for the fluid domain is solved with the Control Volume Method and for the solid domain with the Finite Element Method in order to determine the temperature field for the fluid and solid domains. 展开更多
