理财与理政:传统文教模式下清代官员财政能力的养成

财政事务是清代官员的重要政务之一,其财政能力的养成来源于作为士子学习时的培养及其为官后的再教育,遵循传统的文教方式与文化价值,以科举考试为选拔方式,多以经验主义为导向,针对实际问题,未形成专门学科。官员上任后,主要依靠参考成案、官箴,或引入僚属协助处理财政事务,仍遵循经验主义的治理方式,但弊端逐渐显现,影响清朝统治的稳定。

传统与现代风格融合的文教建筑设计——湘南学院图书馆建筑设计

本文结合实例,从湘南学院图书馆建筑的设计理念、总体布局构思、平面设计、立面造型、传统建筑文化传承等诸多方面阐述其建筑设计特点,对其建筑内部功能处理,建筑美学和人文特色进行了探讨。通过该项目的设计实践,笔者对于传统与现代文化教育建筑的形式及风格相融合有较深的体会。

Importance and Role of Biodiversity and Tropical Forests in the Cultural, Socio-Economic and Religious Life of African Black People： Case of Benin

Biodiversity and tropical forests play a fundamental role in the life of the black people of Africa. In Benin, while some aspects of this role are well-documented, others are barely known. Moreover, these information remains so far very scattered through the literature which does not allow to have a global view on the contribution of biodiversity and forests to the life of people. In this work, it is presented the role of forests and biological diversity in the main vital areas of life of populations in south of Benin. The methodology used was based, with regard to the field, on bibliographical research, observation and/or field stakeholder survey. Investigations are more particularly focused on hardwood lumber uses and the species that are significantly used. The results highlight the uses that are made of vegetal elements of biological diversity and timber as forest products in south of Benin. The main areas explored are animist or traditional religion and traditional medicine, as well as socio-cultural and economic life. In this latter area, the most used timber species and their uses are identified; these include furniture, light carpentry, sculpture, formwork, canoe construction, drums and mortar making.

The Argumentation for Contemporary Peacemaking Efforts According to Jewish Tradition

Peace is a key concept in the Jewish tradition; it has a long history. It is also an extremely broad concept. The present article takes on the subject of contemporary peace between Israel and her neighbors, addressing the issue from the vantage point of Judaism. While opinions on many issues are divided in Judaism today, all streams within the Jewish tradition uphold the concept of peace. Even so, each stream supports a somewhat different version of this ideal, subject to different limitations or reservations. One of the most serious challenges which Judaism today faces in connection with the State of Israel is the issue of exchanging territories for peace. The goal of the present paper is to show that while most approaches rooted in traditional Judaism have opposed such an exchange, Israel＇s religious political parties have endorsed it, advancing different arguments in support of their view. The method followed in the present paper is to study the arguments which have been used in support of peace agreements based on return or exchange of land. In light of the arguments put forth in the paper, to be counted among the accomplishments is a greater degree of openness--even on the part of the religious sector in Israel--toward the effort to achieve peace between Israel and her neighbors.

论“儒”的训释与儒家的历史特点——兼论训诂学在历史文化研究中的独特价值

'儒'的命名能够解释儒家学派的特点与宗旨,前人从《说文解字》'儒,柔也,术士之称'的训释出发来探寻儒家的历史特点。本文利用理论训诂学的相关原理,对各家的得失进行评判。'儒,柔也'的内涵不是柔弱舒缓,而是使之柔顺,这与教化密切相关;儒家的历史特点是以教育为本。通过'儒'的名实互证,体现出训诂学在历史文化研究中的独特价值。

＂Chan Contemplation＂ in the Tangut Buddhism

The paper is an attempt to generalize the results of the previous schol- arship concerning the nature and specific features of Sinitic Buddhism in the Tangut Empire. The major claim of the paper is that certain dimensions of Tangut Buddhism are traceable to their Sinitic parental tradition, the Buddhism in the Tangut Empire evolved in a specific manner, which was influenced by the Buddhism of the Liao Empire. This implies that Sinitic Buddhism in Xixia was modeled according to the model ＂perfect teaching,＂ promoted by the Liao Buddhists. Thus, the approach basedon the traditional ＂school＂ （including ＂Chan School＂） paradigm is inappropriate for the study of Tangut Buddhism. In this stead I am suggesting a ＂perfect＂ approach, which allows grouping the available texts on the basis of their position in the scheme of the ＂perfect teaching＂ and explores the contents of these texts from this angle. Thus, the specific nature of the texts traditionally deemed as Chan in the Tangut Buddhist system is seen in their relationship to the ultimate practice of the ＂contemplation of the Dharma realm.＂ Finally, the paper introduces some new translations from Tangut.
