针对资产管理应用中超高频段无线射频识别系统的远距离、低功耗需求,提出了一种基于隧道二极管的5.8 GHz新型RFID标签。该标签配备了一个高增益、低功率的反射放大器。利用量子隧道效应,反射放大器可以检测到非常低的射频信号。通过偏... 针对资产管理应用中超高频段无线射频识别系统的远距离、低功耗需求,提出了一种基于隧道二极管的5.8 GHz新型RFID标签。该标签配备了一个高增益、低功率的反射放大器。利用量子隧道效应,反射放大器可以检测到非常低的射频信号。通过偏置隧道二极管来实现长通信距离和曼彻斯特编码。实验结果表明,所实现原型样机的增益大于40 dB,且只需要29μW的偏置功率。该标签可检测非常低的RF信号(<-90 dBm),实现了距离长达23.3 m的反向散射调制和曼彻斯特编码,满足了资产管理的需求。 展开更多

A quadrature mixer with a shared transconductor stage is analyzed,including voltage conversion gain, linearity, noise figure, and image rejection. The analysis indicates it has better performance than a conventional Gilbert mixer pair in commutating mode. A quadrature down-conversion mixer based on this topology is designed and optimized for an ultra high frequency RFID reader. Operating in the 915MHz ISM band, the presented quadrature mixer measures a conversion gain of 12.5dB,an IIP3 of 10dBm, an IIP2 of 58dBm, and an SSB noise figure of 17.6riB. The chip was fabricated in a 0. 18μm 1P6M RF CMOS process and consumes only 3mA of current from a 1.8V power supply. 展开更多

A 512-bit EEPROM IP was designed by using just logic process based devices.To limit the voltages of the devices within 5.5 V,EEPROM core circuits,control gate(CG) and tunnel gate(TG) driving circuits,DC-DC converters:positive pumping voltage(VPP=4.75 V) ,negative pumping voltage(VNN=4.75 V) ,and VNNL(=VNN/2) generation circuit were proposed.In addition,switching powers CG high voltage(CG_HV) ,CG low voltage(CG_LV) ,TG high voltage(TG_HV) ,TG low voltage(TG_LV) ,VNNL_CG and VNNL_TG switching circuit were supplied for the CG and TG driving circuit.Furthermore,a sequential pumping scheme and a new ring oscillator with a dual oscillation period were proposed.To reduce a power consumption of EEPROM in the write mode,the reference voltages VREF_VPP for VPP and VREE_VNN for VNN were used by dividing VDD(1.2 V) supply voltage supplied from the analog block in stead of removing the reference voltage generators.A voltage level detector using a capacitive divider as a low-power DC-DC converter design technique was proposed.The result shows that the power dissipation is 0.34μW in the read mode,13.76μW in the program mode,and 13.66μW in the erase mode. 展开更多
