These papers also include the authors’ concern and deep thinking of statistical reform. Some authors introduce international useful experience to promote China’s governmental statistics to be geared to international standards; some authors devote to researching advanced system and approach to improve the quality of statistical data; the other authors put forward feasible suggestions to solve the problems in their practical work, etc. The editor chooses more than twenty representative papers and compiles them to publish in this issue, which will provide reference for China’s statistical reform, promote the rapid development of socialistic statistics, accelerate the reform of governmental statistics and serve for building the harmonious society.展开更多

Considering the role of the gut-brain axis, immune, neural, and endocrine pathways in the patho- genesis of IBS and possible beneficial effects of benzodiazepines (BZD) in this axis, the present systematic review focuses on the efficacy of BZD receptor modulators in human IBS. For the years 1966 to February 2011, all literature was searched for any articles on the use of BZD receptor modulators and IBS. After thorough evaluation and omission of duplicate data, 10 out of 69 articles were included. BZD receptor modulators can be helpful, especially in the diarrhea-dominant form of IBS, by affecting the inflammatory, neural, and psychologic pathways, however, controversies still exist. Recently, a new BZD receptor modulator, dextofisoparn was synthesized and studied in human subjects, but the studies are limited to phase 11 b clinical trials. None of the existing trials considered the neuroimmunomodulatory effect of BZDs in IBS, but bearing in mind the concentration- dependent effect of BZDs on cytokines and cell proliferation, future studies using pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic approaches are highly recommended.展开更多

All of these factors may negatively affect the economic and effective development of shale gas. Under such circumstances, existing drilling techniques for deep shale gas around the world have been reviewed to highlight technical challenges in deep shale gas drilling in China. With consideration to the previous drilling operations of SINOPEC for deep shale gas, technical solutions for deep shale gas drilling have been proposed with regard to the optimization of casing programs, enhanced drilling, trajectory control, high-density oil-based drilling fluid, cementation for deep shale gas development and other aspects. Some of these research findings have been deployed with great successes in Pingqiao, Jiangdong Block in the 2nd Phase of Fuling Project, Dingshan Block and other blocks with deep shale gas development. Among them, Well JY-74-2HF has had a drilling time of only 54.25d, whereas Well JY-187-2HF has a TVD up to 4024.14m. Relevant research results may provide valuable guidance and references for the optimization of drilling programs andthe enhancement ofdrilling ef^ciency for deep shale gas development.展开更多

In this work, we propose a continuous clustering of trajectories of moving objects over high speed data streams, which updates online trajectory clusters on basis of incremental line- segment clustering. The proposed clustering algorithm obtains trajectory clusters efficiently and stores all closed trajectory clusters in a bi- tree index with efficient search capability. Next, we present two query processing methods by utilising three proposed pruning strategies to fast handle two continuous spatio-temporal queries, threshold-based trajectory clustering queries and threshold-based trajectory outlier detections. Finally, the comprehensive experi- mental studies demonstrate that our algorithm achieves excellent effectiveness and high effi- ciency for continuous clustering on both syn- thetic and real streaming data, and the propo- sed query processing methods utilise average 90% less time than the naive query methods.展开更多
