Several authors have reported the neglect suffered by these activities in the Spanish school environment, stating a number of social prejudices and beliefs that affect their selection in school, e.g., they are aggressive and dangerous. Fencing is usually not included for several reasons; lack of knowledge about sport, its complexity, the cost of practice materials, lack of teaching materials, and the limited researches. This paper presents the results of a survey of 106 PE teachers of Valencia （Spain） in order to know what are the main causes that affect the non-selection of fencing as a sport in school, with emphasis on the lack of training and materials, both specific in fencing＇s learning.展开更多

Speaking of the university students, the soccer is not merely the simple sports project which may help the student more importantly to build up strength the healthy body, enriches own after school life, therefore has received the general university student’s affection, moreover the soccer also has the unique charm, it has the oneself quite obvious characteristic in the sports, for instance its grouping development, location request and so on, these all deep attraction student vision, simultaneously also have been receiving the social people from all walks of life’s widespread attention. Nowadays, in the physical education curriculum of colleges and universities, the teaching of students’ football is mainly the knowledge and skill of soccer, ignoring the cooperation between the students. This traditional teaching mode cannot adapt to the teaching reform and quality education The implementation of physical education teachers in the teaching of football has been controversial and questioned, this is all the college physical education teachers face new challenges and new problems. By analyzing the current situation of the college swimming elective course in Chengdu city, the author of this article found that the characteristics of the elective courses of the college students are that the elective courses are diversified, showing the non competitive characteristics. And the author analyzes the characteristics of the swimming elective course, how to better combine with the implementation, and further discusses how to further carry on the reform of the PE teaching, and construct the elective course of the type of the sports club teaching mode. Using the questionnaire survey, the mathematical statistics and other methods, the author analyzes and researches on the status of the teaching of the swimming elective course in 7 universities in Chengdu. The results show that in the current teaching of the swimming elective course, there are some problems existing in the setting of the teaching goals and the curriculum contents, the present situation of the teams of teachers, the guarantee of the teaching materials and the teaching evaluation and other aspects. Aiming at these problems, the author puts forward the reasonable suggestions and the countermeasures, to make the teaching of the swimming elective course more perfect, and also to provide referential significance for the teaching reform of the swimming elective course in the colleges and universities in Chengdu.展开更多
