Frequently temporary architectures use building techniques and materials lig...In this paper new criteria for designing of temporary architectures, which can be used as a uniform coverage for open spaces, are discussed. Frequently temporary architectures use building techniques and materials lightweight. In the case of temporary architectures the theme of sustainability requires that the structure can be reused in different occasions and contexts. The solution to these issues, developed in this paper, makes use of a innovative constructive procedure of prestressed masonry in blocks of natural stone. This procedure is used for the construction of the vertical supports of the cover, consisting of a tensostructure with shape of hyperboloid, obtained by products standard (steel profiles and membrane). The columns with prestressed blocks of natural stone, dry assembled, allow you to have a modular structure, easily assembled and disassembled, with full recovery of all elements; the stone columns, due to their weight, are able to stabilize the whole structure, even to the dynamic stresses, without using any type of foundation structure fixed to the ground. This paper shows the description of all the elements that make up the new type of temporary architecture designed.展开更多

The implementation of multiple enzymes for chemical production in a cell‐free scenario is an emerging field in biomanufacturing.It enables the redesign and reconstitution of new enzymatic routes for producing chemica...The implementation of multiple enzymes for chemical production in a cell‐free scenario is an emerging field in biomanufacturing.It enables the redesign and reconstitution of new enzymatic routes for producing chemicals that may be hard to obtain from natural pathways.Although the construction of a cell‐free multienzyme system is highly flexible and adaptable,it is challenging to make all enzymatic reactions act in concert.Recently,modular construction has been conceptual‐ized as an effective way to harmonize diverse enzymatic reactions.In this review,we introduce the concept of a multienzyme module and exemplify representative modules found in Nature.We then categorize recent developments of synthetic multienzyme modules into main‐reaction modules and auxiliary modules according to their roles in reaction routes.We highlight four main‐reaction mod‐ules that can perform carbon metabolism,carbon assimilation,protein glycosylation and nonribo‐somal peptide synthesis,and exemplify auxiliary modules used for energy supply,protection and reinforcement for main reactions.The reactor‐level modularization of multienzyme catalysis is also discussed.展开更多

The pri...This paper deals with utilization possibility of a kinematical couple of screw-matrix in minimachine mechatronic concept which is assigned to move within the pipes having less than 25 mm of the inner diameter. The principle of the movement for a straightforward motion consists in transformation of the actuator rotary movement through a screw and a nut to the linear motion. It causes a change of distance between the front and rear parts of the minimachine modules. Due to minimization of the dimensions, the electrical control and power supply components are placed outside of the minimachine operating area. The control module is based on a programmable integrated circuit (PIC).展开更多
