宋末元初,藏蒙两族通过佛教文化建立了宗教"供施关系"为形式的民族关系。直至元朝,藏传佛教各派为着各自利益分别与各大王公建立政教联系,相互依托,往来频繁,关系密切,藏族高僧受到蒙元政府的崇高礼遇。随着元朝灭亡,佛教在... 宋末元初,藏蒙两族通过佛教文化建立了宗教"供施关系"为形式的民族关系。直至元朝,藏传佛教各派为着各自利益分别与各大王公建立政教联系,相互依托,往来频繁,关系密切,藏族高僧受到蒙元政府的崇高礼遇。随着元朝灭亡,佛教在蒙古地区的传播一时受阻,两族互动暂断。明代中叶,达赖三世索南嘉措与土默特部俺答汗在青海会晤作为起点,格鲁派为代表的藏族与蒙古族的关系得以全面发展。藏蒙关系的纽带是佛教文化,而佛教文化的传播则潜移默化地改变了两个民族的性格特征,同时彼此之间互通有无,取长补短,创造了具有显明民族宗教特色的精神文化和物质文化。 展开更多

Despite significant improvements in transport, energy and information communication technology (ICT) infrastructures, inadequacies still exist in China's infrastructure development in light of emerging demand and industrial transition and upgrade. China lags far behind advanced economies such as the United States, Germany and Japan in terms of the quality of transport infrastructures except railroad," electricity infrastructure is insufficient and service efficiency needs improvement; ICT infrastructure requires all-round upgrade and gaps in Internet bandwidth are striking. This paper suggests that, based on the needs of supply-side structural reform, China must reform its investment and financing systems to enhance the efficiency of infrastructure investment. Efforts must be made to enhance air transport and port infrastructure to support industrial upgrade; to develop the energy Internet to address emerging demands; and to forge a new generation of ICT infrastructure with industrial Internet as the priority to prepare China for the new round of industrial competition. 展开更多

Many are the sources of energy available, but few are appropriate or sustainable. Combustion of diesel fuel is a good technical solution; however, it is neither economic nor environmentally tenable. The paper summarized the state quo of gas supply and demand in the country and analyzed factors that may affect the demand and supply balance in the new period. It is proposed that there will be many uncertainties in achieving supply and demand goals of gas set for tire period, and gas glut is also very possible during the time. To deal with the problem, it is suggested that several measures be taken nationwide: improving utilization of gas in several sectors, straightening and optimizing the pricing mechanism, speeding up construction of infrastructures, implementing relevant policies and boosting up supen^ision and monitor of tire industry. 展开更多

The increase in climate change raises the awareness of societal stakeholders to act as key-drivers in motivating and pushing corporations to monitor their sustainability data transparency, analyse their operations performance, and improve their operations related to environment, social governance, and corporate social responsibility. This paper evaluates the current importance of the societal stakeholders that impact the compliance of companies towards these environmental, social and governance practices in their supply chain operations. The latest review on the sustainability reporting and its data analytics are carried out, followed by a review of the development of a sustainability reporting and data analytics model, including sustainability software and online platforms in facilitating and supporting supply chain practitioners in their decision-making process. The model has been further developed as a dashboard and applied to a maritime supply chain firm. A case analysis has been conducted to illustrate the importance of analytics data in supporting complex decision-making process. Additional intelligent data analytics functionalities are recommended as future development for the sustainability reporting and data analytics dashboard in supply chain operations. 展开更多

UPSS development is closely connected with region power supply system development as a whole. The decision of questions of long-term and middle-term planning of UPSS development occurs in the conditions of incompleteness and uncertainty of the initial information. Nevertheless in these conditions the acceptance of development strategy should be based on perspective electric loads of urban TS (transformer substations). There are difficulties with a rational placement of substations in the city with the developed infrastructure. Such problem by theoretically grounded approach to rational formation of UPSS is solved. The hierarchical structure of the organizational construction, voltage levels and load densities is considered. The mathematical and geometrical modeling of service areas for transformer substations of different voltage is fulfilled. The method of graphic placement of transformer substations in the city territory for new substations at existing structure of networks is offered. The aim of the work is to present the new uniform approach which allows finding a rational decision for new substations' placement in cities with developed infrastructure on the beginning design stages in conditions of the information uncertainty. Tag collision algorithm is a key issue for energy saving and throughput with Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) system more popular in sensing infrastructure of covering wider area on a large scale. Exploiting low energy consumption strategy would enable longer operational life of tags and reader with battery energy supply. And improving throughput is required on a large scale to preserve the capability of the correct reception. Therefore, this paper proposes an enhanced anti-collision algorithm called Dynamic Slotted with Muting (DSM), which uses multiple slots within a frame per node in a binary tree and takes tag estimation function to optimize the number of slots, and adds a mute command to put identified tags silence. The performance of the proposed algorithm is analytically provided, and simulation results show that DSM saves more than 40% energy consumptions both at reader and tags, and improves more than 35% throughput compared to the existing algorithms. Thus our algorithm is demonstrated to perform efficient energy savings at reader and tags with throughput improvement. 展开更多

SECs need logistics service providers who offer consolidated services for project optimization and fulfillment of local content requirements of the project. Relevant Staffof7 SECs and 10 logistics service providers in Ghana formed part of the target group. The weighted scoring model was used in selecting a logistics service provider based on certain criteria. The selection criteria included Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) policies [Q], Compliance to regulations (GRA, Work permit, petroleum regulation) [C], Delivery of goods on time and response rate to deliver [D], Vessel, Cargo attendance and transportation (sea freight and air freight) [V], and Logistics (Personal logistics and Logistics base facilities) [L]. The study concluded Consolidated Shipping Agency (Conship) was the best Logistics Service Provider to offer the best consolidated services for project optimization under the TEN project. 展开更多

Water Leakages in Public Water Supply System and How to Prevent Them

The article addresses the results of effective water losses prevention in public water supply systems, focusing on procedures for monitoring hidden leaks as the main part of losses and as the first step to control and prevent them. The described methodology has been applied based on a cross-border cooperation between twin capital cities Vienna and Bratislava in the Central Europe Region within the project deWaloP (Developing Water Loss Prevention) and adopted in Bratislava Water Company (BVS) in the Slovak Republic. The paper provides a complex of simple and easily available practices for analyses of water distribution measurements bringing essential information as to the necessity to use advanced procedures to actively reduce leakage. These practices involve minimum night flows analyses, hydrodynamic pressures analyses, pinpointing of water leakages by working with valves in the water network, the methodology of setting alarm limits for measured data, as well as use of advanced practices to obtain missing topologic data. As the water infrastructure in former socialistic countries are in bad technical condition and the lack of pertinent operational data is a significant obstacle to the application of a more sophisticated methodology based on GIS and other information systems, the procedures focus on using the most simple way to evaluate and control water losses. Finally, the introduction of described methodology in Bratislava Water Company after many years of unsuccessful effort even with expensive sophisticated leakage equipment brought positive outputs and the graph line of water losses level is finally going down. The use of expensive multi-correlating equipment together with human resources on the basis of implementing the above described leakage monitoring will subsequently become more effective, as it shall pinpoint major leakages, disclosure and removal of that shall significantly contribute to the effective reduction of water losses. 展开更多
